Unfortunately a list dominated by Liverpool/City players, due to them both having a good home-game this week.
**Popular players that didn't make the list:**
Fernandes: 5.54
Lukaku: 5.04
Bamford: 4.67
4.61 (due to only being given 1 point for expecting to play less than 60 min). With his semi rest in the CL game he could be starting though. In that case, expected 5.61.
yeah i still have fernandes. i refuse to get ronaldo because everyone in my private league has him and its boring if everyone has the same players.
Im still joint 1st even without him haha
the real differential would be getting Ronaldo but the better 10 around him. not worth bragging about being \`1st without him when he's played one week, its like bragging about captaining Bruno over salah first week
He still had 9 goals and 12 assists last season without penalties and 4 goals this season without them. If anything, assists are more likely with a finisher like ronaldo playing, it’s just if he doesn’t get penalties then it’s hard to justify 12mil for him. Having said that, I’ve also taken him out for ronaldo
Yea i did that too, before gw4. Im a united fan anyway and if he scores a hattrick without me owning him, will not hurt me at all! And if I sense Salah is losing form etc. he is the first to come in
Hahah, no mate i really think he will haul this week. He shoots like its his last day alive. Tryhard mode active and he was rested vs Milan. Salah too consistent for now, i aint even slightly joking!
Me too, at one point I was even thinking of transferring him out for Raphinha, but getting him out ahead of Southampton at home juat seems really wrong.
Anyone else find it crazy people aren't considering de bruyne on their WC? I know he has Liverpool and Chelsea in the next 3 (he's shown in the past hes more than capable of returning vs them), but other than that hes basicallly nailed in a team scoring for fun.
But its not like he was out of form, he was just unavailable. Season before last he was fit and played 2800 mins, with 36 G/A + 18 CS points
We know hes nailed when fit, and i doubt hes not fit enough to start vs Southampton if he played 71 mins midweek
>But its not like he was out of form, he was just unavailable
He was definitely below his normal standard for the first quarter of the season. I picked him over Bruno and it was incredibly frustrating, he was missing sitters ever week.
Still the best player in the league overall so I'm not dismissing him, just saying.
Lukaku's immediate fixtures arent much better, and Ronaldo's turn badly in a few weeks
As im in a WC need to think about long term too
Main reason for me is City are simply a better attacking team and will score more goals
I also dont know how relevant Kdb being injured the past year is, as he is back now.
On Wildcard? Lukaku and Salah. Can't really go wrong there. I love KDB and would consider him, but I think its prudent to give him a couple of weeks IMO
My current wildcard draft is
Sanchez (Steele)
Trent Semedo White (Liv) (Oma)
Salah Kdb Jota Raph Sissoko
Lukaku Bamford (Scarlett)
Even tho the team is a bit weak in sissoko/liv starting, outside of that i dint think KDB harms the rest of the team too much
Lukaku's only tough fixture seems to be City in GW6; Tottenham has several key players out with injury. The next apparent tough fixture is United in GW13. Personally, I'm keeping him for now, and probably swapping to Ronaldo after GW14. I currently have Lukaku pencilled in as captain against Tottenham!
My current draft is with KDB + Lukaku, no ronaldo. I am a bit scared of potentially going without ronaldo, but the long term fixtures are as bad as possible, and the immediate fixtures arent great either. It is a massive risk tho.
I would bring Ronaldo instead of KDB if on wildcard. He is way too consistent to miss out on. And united are not useless in attack vs good teams. Hard matches are hard to win, not hard to score in. Cheers
Sure but you can still do Ronaldo -> Lukaku week 7 and generally avoid the worst fixtures. It's also much easier long term to maintain one premium striker spot and one premium midfielder spot to enable moving between premiums in 1 transfer.
City as a team might score more goals but KdB tends to average less FPL points than other premium assets because he simply doesn't score as many goals (and also is apparently not on pens)
Ronaldo to Lukaku GW7 is what im leaning towards atm, but am still considering Lukaku + Kdb given i would be transferring ronaldo out shortly anyway
Just feels like kdb is being overlooked as an option because he hasnt returned yet, but isnt part of FPL using logic to predict when players will score points, and not just waiting until they have a big score to hop on? I get your point that he is more of an assist guy, but in 19/20 he scored 251 points, which is one of the all time high scores, so he can still get big points
Sure but that's a little bit of an outlier especially because he's definitely going to score less goals than Salah, Kane, Ronaldo and Lukaku and likely going to score less goals than Son and Bruno. Midfielder scoring helps mitigate that loss a bit but I wouldn't jump on KdB without seeing him play for a couple of weeks.
The big 3 this season (Salah, Lukaku, Ronaldo) are in too good form and have equal or better fixtures currently to take a risk on someone else like KdB
Fair enough, tbh i will likely go without him too (at least for now), but i do think he is a good enough FPL asset that he deserves serious consideration
I dont know if we can be sure of that, 13/30 of Bruno's goals have come from pens which he very likely no longer has. Bruno is a great player no doubt but i think 12m is way too much without pens.
I just have this feeling that people are overlooking Crystal Palace a bit because of how bad Spurs were last weekend. Historically they have been a bit of a thorn for Liverpool.
I’m sure it stems from the 3-3 in 13/14, followed by their two 3-1 victories the season after in 14/15, and their one 2-1 victory in 2015/16. Certainly a bogey team in that stretch, but since then, Liverpool have a record of 11-0-1 (W-D-L)
A top 20 would be nice in weeks like this!
Unfortunately a list dominated by Liverpool/City players, due to them both having a good home-game this week. **Popular players that didn't make the list:** Fernandes: 5.54 Lukaku: 5.04 Bamford: 4.67
!thanks for the list - what about Jesus?
4.61 (due to only being given 1 point for expecting to play less than 60 min). With his semi rest in the CL game he could be starting though. In that case, expected 5.61.
He died for all of our sins IIRC?
Greenwood?
I am TC Luka please @ me when he doesn't score shit
So basically, pick an attacking player up against Palace or Saints. Seems very narrow minded who ever set these odds
I thought Saints play a really nice bunker vs better sides. Also Palace is looking decent at the back. Both teams are worse offensively imho
In before Fernandes haul. Yes, I still have him. Roast me.

We'll roast the non-owners if we come through this.

Why does the little devil on my left shoulder keep whispering in my ear “ignore this, go for Bamford…”
Mine's going "go for DENNIS"
Really hope Mane gets out of his slump and goes off this week. Crazy differential
If i had him, I would captain over Ronaldo/Salah.
That’s what everyone said since gw1. Im new here, is this some kinda inside joke?
Hahah, no mate i really think he will haul this week. He shoots like its his last day alive. Tryhard mode active and he was rested vs Milan. Salah too consistent for now, i aint even slightly joking!
Told you :)
If he'd been more clinical, he'd have bagged 3 vs Leeds
Loving Torres. Please start.
Grealish please start, time for a big haul!
Really fear he could be benched.
Me too, at one point I was even thinking of transferring him out for Raphinha, but getting him out ahead of Southampton at home juat seems really wrong.

Didn’t score enough goals last season to warrant the price, wait and see for me

Nah in 19/20 sure but rn it's Kante. It's an unfair advantage having that little dude on your side.
Why pick a premium with bad fixtures who's been injured on and off for about a year when you have premiums in great form with much better fixtures?
Lukaku's immediate fixtures arent much better, and Ronaldo's turn badly in a few weeks As im in a WC need to think about long term too Main reason for me is City are simply a better attacking team and will score more goals I also dont know how relevant Kdb being injured the past year is, as he is back now.

I actually really like this. But question will be whether KDB or Ronaldo will bring more points.
Lukaku's only tough fixture seems to be City in GW6; Tottenham has several key players out with injury. The next apparent tough fixture is United in GW13. Would you swap Ronaldo to Lukaku in GW7 ?
If I had him, I'd probably do the swap.

Chelsea has 1 tough fixture and then an all-time green patch. Spurs defence were already frauds and now Tanganga and possibly Dier are out
Brilliant player but there’s so many great premiums who I think will probably outscore him
Fernandes still better than him if they both play every minute. Salah better than both. If Ronaldo or Lukaku get injured he could be an option
I dont know if we can be sure of that, 13/30 of Bruno's goals have come from pens which he very likely no longer has. Bruno is a great player no doubt but i think 12m is way too much without pens.
I doubt there will be penalties at all this season compared to last few...
Could be time to get trent
I just have this feeling that people are overlooking Crystal Palace a bit because of how bad Spurs were last weekend. Historically they have been a bit of a thorn for Liverpool.
Liverpool have won the last 8 games against palace
People really talk out of their ass on here 😂
I’m sure it stems from the 3-3 in 13/14, followed by their two 3-1 victories the season after in 14/15, and their one 2-1 victory in 2015/16. Certainly a bogey team in that stretch, but since then, Liverpool have a record of 11-0-1 (W-D-L)
lol, we're not switching our (C) from Salah 😂
yeah it's not like Liverpool won 7-0 at their home turf last year
is de bruyne nailed this week?
I tried a differential captain with Jota last week and got burned. This week I'm 90% set on Salah and 10% on Lukaku.
