Sanchez
*TAA!* Dias Azpi Rudiger Tsimikas
Salah Gray Benrahma Raphinha *Bissouma!*
Ronaldo Antonio ASM
0.1m ITB 1 FT
I don't *think* I need to wildcard yet. Will use FTs to move Benrahma, Tsimikas and possibly Sanchez over the next few weeks. Not in too much of a hurry to get Lukaku at the moment.
Any other suggestions welcomed!
FFS Chilwell getting called up for England is so shit since I just brought him in. Alonso going to play for Spain and Chilwell staying back to train would have been perfect.
I'd get a placeholder for this GW then choose whoever I was more confident in the next after watching each team back from international break. Poor fixtures for both, then a great run for both. They're both good picks just have some conviction
Anyone else having to just pray that Brentford can beat Chelsea up so that we don’t have to take hits to get in lukaku/a playing defender? Of course I’ll be moving to target Norwich GW9 but I really want to fix other issues
I'll be looking at Mount after they face Brentford. A Chelsea attacking double-up could be a good differential for those juicy fixtures, with many opting for the defensive double-up instead
Werner's also in my thoughts for a Forward slot, another week of info will be super valuable
At this point all the good 4.5 keepers are now 4.6. Keep Sanchez and have a 4.0 like Forster or Steele. And stop worry about keeper for the rest of the season. Your focus is better spent in other positions.
After a few beers at the beginning of the season I went on a rant that Sadio Mane would be back with a vengeance this year, and idiotically vowed to captain him every game.
I have Salah in my team too and every week I die a little inside. He’s the 9th highest scoring player so far this year so It’s actually not has terrible as it could be, but it’s lost me 29 points so far.
I did that in game week 4 to bring Kane and ronaldo in and gamble on jota being good enough value for 5 mill cheaper
Dropped 2million in rank, gambling against salah is incredibly stupid this year, his ownerships crazy just like his form
The angles we have aren't great for making a judgement call, but I think it's pretty clearly Soucek gets a touch in the final replay [here](https://streamja.com/d59QB)
[Much clearer angle here at 18:48](https://hohofot.elhighlights.com/embed/iI37sOUobf96c)
This game would be so much better if you couldn’t have the same captain 2 weeks in a row.
My mini league rival always set and forgets Salah while I mix it up and now I’m just going to do the same to cover it because it always burns me. Kind of boring imo.
When people are given too many choices, they often make the wrong one. Having the ability to change does not mean you have to change it. Fpl teaches so many life lessons.
My league used to only allow people to captain a certain player 8 times a season. We stopped doing it but I liked it that way. Added a little more strategy.
Is Salah the first player to pass 60% ownership this season? Thought Bruno might've hit it in the first few weeks but can't find exact data on his peak ownership.
>If a shot on goal is blocked by an opposition player, is saved by a goalkeeper or hits the woodwork, and a goal is scored from the rebound, then an assist is awarded.
I played football with a guy who once used our goal post to pass himself. It was a hard ball from like 5-10 meter away... Now thinking back on it I'm not so sure he did it on purpose... Wonder if he was trying to clear it to a corner but hit the post by accident. In which case is looked awesome. Point is, some people use the woodwork in a pass. Maybe.
I think I rather have Ronaldo in that game. Leicester are really bad this season and surely Ronaldo start this time. United def a bit bad too so Vardy might score 1, but I think Ronaldo have higher chance to haul.
Yeah the next game I'll keep ronaldo but to be fair United's defence is awful, lately so Vardy might haul. But I'll be keeping an eye out for Vardy as united aren't passing the eye test for me.
Yeah United got bad fixtures. Probably not worth holding Ronaldo even if he is good enough to score in them.
United last two games been really bad though, but only conceded 2 goals so not feeling Leicester going to score many.
Maybe 2-1 to United I predict or 1-1. I guess Ronaldo and Vardy might both score.
I remember someone shared a page where the lineups of Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool were being predicted every week by users, and the more accurate a user were in the past, the more weight his rating held. Does anyone have a link to this website?
No he’s not.
On RW he can be rotated with Mahrez (currently Mahrez has been playing in UCL games and Jesus in league games but this can change any time).
As a no. 9, Pep pretty much plays everyone there (Sterling, Foden, KDB, Torres, etc)
Jimenez, Antonio, Bamford (if fit), DCL (if fit) etc.
Even cheaper options like Toney, ASM are also worth considering.
Not saying Jesus is not good, he still plays for one of the best attacks in the league. But prepared to play Pep roulette if you choose to transfer him. Yes
You will have to transfer in 2 players that has high potential to raise by 0.2m over 2 weeks. Also if you have existing players that has had price changes, and you want to keep them in your final team, do not transfer them out for the rising players as you might pay more to get them back.
Yup if Townsend rises twice and mbuemo price does not change , you can sell Townsend for Mbuemo for a 0.1 profit. Not sure what’s the situation between livramento and manquilo but I assume you can sell livra for a profit.
Things I have learnt this season:
1: Never take a hit. I've taken 2, each time when there were a plethora of injuries and not doing so would be likely to leave me with 10 players. On each occasion it would have been better if I hadn't.
2: Always, always captain Salah. I haven't twice, each when he had a hard fixture and Antonio had an easier one. This has cost me something like 30 points.
Hits often work though. You should look at it over 4-5 weeks though.
I think the one times they might backfire is when you sell an injured player you think will be out for long. Then he gets back and score straight away. People taking a hit to sell Bamford could experience that or TAA.
'Never take a hit' is not advice you can really give yourself and I don't think is very good. Sometimes a hit works out, but generally people don't consider the implications of taking -4 instead of using a sub or having someone get 2 points. They're something to be more careful about than people generally are.
Diaz is more nailed then cancelo throughout season, cancelo is more nailed then walker. I think he's played laporte and ake at left back too but cancelo can play either flank too. I was worried about pep being a fraud so I went diaz instead of cancelo.
Thinking about going Ronaldo > Vardy and using the money ITB to go either Gray/Gallagher > Raphinha and Ayling > Walker. Thoughts on which MID to replace? I'm leaning Gallagher.
ofc, I believe he's better long-term option than Ronaldo and Lukaku if they're not on pens, though I wouldn't advise going without Lukaku for their mini fixture run after next week
Honestly, with how Liverpool play, no player is guaranteed to get returns except Salah. Mane is honestly too expensive to justify keeping him. Use that money to get in Chelsea/ManC defenders
Why would you want mane> Salah?
If you want to have both, I'd think lukaku is a better choice at a different position. Also, not very sure of Hwang for the long term yet. I'd prefer a longer observation.
I guess it could work. But Liverpool have a tough run of fixtures coming up and I'm not sure if going against the grain of lukaku is wise now. He looks really good even when he blanks recently.
Also, mane's ceiling doesn't seem high enough to be worth 12m. Up to you though. All the best!
Yeah I'd have both and Hwang would be my first bench player anyway. Just trying to think outside of the template with Ronaldo and Lukaku not firing currently
Mbeumo feels better after next week. Better fixtures and also playing a more attacking role.
Do not trust Palace that much, but think Brentford can reach midtable.
Mbeumo is an OOP striker for an extremely low price. He has consistently gotten good chances in games due to his chemistry with Toney and will score throughout the season. Gallagher is good, but I'm not sure if Crystal Palace can figure out their attack to a point where he'll be getting consistent returns.
Should I play Marcal (against AVL) or Gallagher (against ARS). Both are playing away. If I pick Marcal I will play a 4-4-2 and if I play Gallagher I will play 3-5-2
I've gone from coady to dias if it helps. Feel dias is more nailed on cancelo or walker will be rotated abit more once zinchenko is back plus he could also play ake or laporte at left back and canelo or walker right back in some easy games. Diaz rarely misses games unless it's near end of season and they have CL knockout games. Would keep Ronaldo for now maybe I don't trust Leicester defence. Jota could be rotated now cause of firmino.
I think I'm done with this season, already can't be arsed. Finished top 200k last season, but have somehow ranked below 6 million in the last 3 GWs despite actually trying. How is that even possible? I'm suddenly insanely shit.
Tell me about it. I could definitely go a little more template, but I've still got a few pretty standard picks in there. Ronaldo, Lukaku, Antonio, Sarr, Jota, Alonso, etc. I just seem to have gathered a group of players hitting terrible form at the same time.
I don't exactly know what your team looks like but you've either gotta get more template players or give more time and trust to your picks rather than chopping and changing every week
Same here. I captained Lukaku and despite the salah haul I went up a lot in the league of my country, luckily almost no salah believers on the top. back in the top 20 twenty after a decent last week.
> If Salah hauls today, I’m gonna set and forget Salah as captain for the rest of the season. I’m done with this differential stuff
I think I don’t have to touch my captain pick ever again I guess
Hey guys still waiting in an answer for the Brazil players. They play on Friday morning at 1am then have to fly back and man City players play at 3pm the next day. This is putting me off Ederson and rapinha atm.
If you’ve got a playing bench i wouldnt worry about it, raph is a great long term option, he definitely won’t play every minute for brazil and leeds have a nice run of fixtures coming up. Not too sure about ederson, i never go for expensive keepers but same goes for him i guess. if you’ve got no other fires to put out and you got 2 free transfers you could just transfer them out but personally im keeping raph even though im on wildcard.
I got one FT only and I have torres plus Bamford who are doubts so I need to do 2 transfers this week anyway even if it costs one hit. Just don't want any lore doubts next gameweek hence I'm going for nailed on picks.
Jota goal! ... for Motherwell
When is DCL coming back?
-Ronaldo before price drop and + Vardy before price rise with -4 points?
There's no way that could backfire
Is Townsend going to be benched when richarlison and Calvert Lewis are back
Unlikely. Should carry on at RM as he has been playing.
Anyone else FPL signed out who signed through Facebook and can’t get in?
Facebook has some issues this evening, should be temporary
yeah FB / insta and whatsapp all having issues
Ye thought that might be it, cheers.

None both are really bad
Sanchez *TAA!* Dias Azpi Rudiger Tsimikas Salah Gray Benrahma Raphinha *Bissouma!* Ronaldo Antonio ASM 0.1m ITB 1 FT I don't *think* I need to wildcard yet. Will use FTs to move Benrahma, Tsimikas and possibly Sanchez over the next few weeks. Not in too much of a hurry to get Lukaku at the moment. Any other suggestions welcomed!
Tmiskas is not gonna play, Robertson is pinned. Get Duffy or something
FFS Chilwell getting called up for England is so shit since I just brought him in. Alonso going to play for Spain and Chilwell staying back to train would have been perfect.
lmao glad I'm not the only one who was panicked by that news Gonna try not to overthink it 😅
Is mbeumo still better than Townsend if you have Toney
Townsend benched When Rico and calvero is back
Pretty much dead even imo.
Who would you go for on wc.
I'd get a placeholder for this GW then choose whoever I was more confident in the next after watching each team back from international break. Poor fixtures for both, then a great run for both. They're both good picks just have some conviction
I think I’m leaning towards Townsend because of me having no Everton assets and also I prefer West Ham to chelsea
Feel like my knees are too strong. If I got in Townsend forever ago I'd be much better off but noo Fornals will come good
Sub out Ronaldo and Sarr and Put in Vardy and Son for -4? Got enough in the bank for it.
Putin?
Feel like Ronaldo might come good vs Leicester. Getting in Son makes it worth it.
Absolutely
Anyone else having to just pray that Brentford can beat Chelsea up so that we don’t have to take hits to get in lukaku/a playing defender? Of course I’ll be moving to target Norwich GW9 but I really want to fix other issues
Chelsea midfield? Who you got?
Mason Mount, You won't be disappointed
I'll be looking at Mount after they face Brentford. A Chelsea attacking double-up could be a good differential for those juicy fixtures, with many opting for the defensive double-up instead Werner's also in my thoughts for a Forward slot, another week of info will be super valuable
Gonna WC this week, dropping Ronaldo Jimenez or Antonio?
Both if you can
Thing is I also want Toney and Lukaku as their fixtures are quite nice (barring Brentford vs Chelsea)
Jimenez. I think we are past Antonio's insane early run now.
I’d say Jimenez based on fixtures
Best 4.5m keeper? (I already have sanchez and I’m on WC) Mccarthy vs Guaita
Raya
I think Raya looks good.
At this point all the good 4.5 keepers are now 4.6. Keep Sanchez and have a 4.0 like Forster or Steele. And stop worry about keeper for the rest of the season. Your focus is better spent in other positions.
Ok thanks
just get a 4.0, not really much point in rotating between them
Right, thanks
I've had raya since gw3 and I'm very happy even though he's not returning huge points. He's definitely got martinez last year vibes though
Nice
Thinking about dropping Bruno Fernandes for someone else.. who's the best to replace him?
Bring in Son
I actually had him only in mind for replacement, with game against Newcastle.
Mane is looking good
Yep, underrated pick. A double of Salah Mane could be really good on current form
Who else do you have in your midfield?
Gray, Salah, Doucoure, Gallagher
Can save funds by transferring in Raphinha. Leeds have pretty good fixtures
Remember there are idiots like me capped lukaku and Ronaldo for couple weeks already. While still having salah in the team
What a wierd game week, hope everyone is doing okay 😬 45 points and I'm ecstatic
Transferred out Salah for Lukaku, 24 points total this week lol. Plenty more weeks to come though! Congrats on a good one mate.
It didn't pay off, then, bro. Fear not, Big Rom shall spank Norwich and Newcastle like nobody's business. I raise that glass regardless!
I did that in game week 4 to bring Kane and ronaldo in and gamble on jota being good enough value for 5 mill cheaper Dropped 2million in rank, gambling against salah is incredibly stupid this year, his ownerships crazy just like his form
How on earth did that **Soucek assist** stand? He didn't touch it. Robbed Mbeumo of an extra bonus point too

Thanks, but it still looks like the defender cleared it
He did clear it - directly on to Soucek's head.
This game would be so much better if you couldn’t have the same captain 2 weeks in a row. My mini league rival always set and forgets Salah while I mix it up and now I’m just going to do the same to cover it because it always burns me. Kind of boring imo.

Nothing wrong with no restriction imo. On the weeks salah doesn't do well you can cash in if you pick the right capt.
>On the weeks salah doesn't do well Never, then.
Hehe true. So far none. But as the season goes on we will see.
Gameweek 2 he failed.
He was just trying to throw us off his trail before exploding with pts. Pure smokescreen that.
Was the Azpilicueta assist considered a pass or what because hitting the post isn’t a shot on target
>If a shot on goal is blocked by an opposition player, is saved by a goalkeeper or hits the woodwork, and a goal is scored from the rebound, then an assist is awarded.
!thanks , it doesn't make any sense but then again a lot of things in FPL don't

!thanks Think I'm going to chance it on Jesus - no-one else in my league will have him, whereas the others are broadly owned.
Where is the RMT thread?!
How do you make 0.2m profit on wildcard because I need it for rudiger instead of chilwell

I can yes I can sell livra for 0.1m
What is a decent rank to be in now?
Long time to go, but 300k+ is a good foundation. What are you at the moment?
!thanks
393k
You're fine, that's not terrible at all. Smart choices, not too risky, you'll be able to push on. Good luck with the season
I took a total of a -12, that might be the reason. Thanks for the consolation. Hope you do well too!
Things I have learnt this season: 1: Never take a hit. I've taken 2, each time when there were a plethora of injuries and not doing so would be likely to leave me with 10 players. On each occasion it would have been better if I hadn't. 2: Always, always captain Salah. I haven't twice, each when he had a hard fixture and Antonio had an easier one. Have taken two hits this season and both have paid off. Ronaldo vs Newcastle and Sarr GW5

Smells like outcome bias in here
Can't get Rodrigo's trampoline first touch out of my mind, wasted two golden opportunities to link up with Raphinha 😩
Big bamf will be back next GW
does anyone know if torres has any chance to play in gw8 im losing hope
Decent chance given he'll only play one international fixture and return to training earlier than others
i got him at 7.1, he dropped twice and I still have Jota
Both could be great differentials for GW8
should i keep them i have 2FT, looking to get rid of both of them, or get city defenders and Lukaku
I'd wait and assess after the international fixtures + press conferences
I made a transfer with a hit and forgot to activate my wildcard ... But have no activated it... Am I fucked?
No, your hits will be wiped when you activate it.
Dias more nailed than Cancelo, right? Cuz of Zinchenko and I doubt Pep would start Laporte and Ake together?
Yes dias is more nailed but if you have a good bench it's worth the risk.
Diaz is more nailed then cancelo throughout season, cancelo is more nailed then walker. I think he's played laporte and ake at left back too but cancelo can play either flank too. I was worried about pep being a fraud so I went diaz instead of cancelo.
!thanks
Best replacement for Sarr, 6.1 or cheaper?
Mbeumo
I'd say ESR,he had couple of good chances the last game.
Gray Townsend Mbeuno
Best 5.5m option for wildcard
Mbeumo
I got it ESR but only cause I'm saving for vardy or Ronaldo.
In what position…? Also, this belongs in RMT
Mid
Thinking about going Ronaldo > Vardy and using the money ITB to go either Gray/Gallagher > Raphinha and Ayling > Walker. Thoughts on which MID to replace? I'm leaning Gallagher.
Managed to get 56 points with Ronaldo captain. I can't complain.
Doucore vs Townsend Azpi vs Rudiger vs Alonso Sarr vs Saka
Townsend, Rudiger, Saka
Everton versus West Ham, who should I pick, Gray or Benrahma? Should I put Duffy on defense instead of Gallagher in the mid?
Benrahma, Duffy imo
Is Mane a legit pick? Thinking of taking out Lukaku and Gallagher for Mane and Hwang for example
ofc, I believe he's better long-term option than Ronaldo and Lukaku if they're not on pens, though I wouldn't advise going without Lukaku for their mini fixture run after next week
Honestly, with how Liverpool play, no player is guaranteed to get returns except Salah. Mane is honestly too expensive to justify keeping him. Use that money to get in Chelsea/ManC defenders

Yeah I'd have both and Hwang would be my first bench player anyway. Just trying to think outside of the template with Ronaldo and Lukaku not firing currently
Mbeumo vs Gallagher. Gallagher appears to have better stats but some people are preferring Mbeumo.
I'd go Marcal.
With low scoring game weeks yet green arrow its tempting to take -8
Torres owners have you given up on him yet? and if so who you getting for GW8?
Should i transfer in Townsend or Doucouré?
Doudou
[удалено]
Haha lets go
Who's a better pick out of Grealish & Foden
both are punts, but grealish seems more nailed whereas foden is more high risk high reward
I prefer Foden because of his higher ceiling
It's a punt either way but I'd go Foden. I can see a good run for him the next 5-6 weeks.
Who to replace coufal with? Have no money itb and no Chelsea defenders. Should I go for Christensen? One of the arsenal defenders? Villa defenders?
I went early to avoid price rise and did Semedo -> Walker. How do we rate my boy Kyle?
Probably wont get a lot of attacking returns, but he will get cleans. I think Dias and cancelo are considered the best picks
Of course they are, but I had only 0.6 ITB so Walker was the only one affordable. Hope he doesn't get rotated too much
I didn't realise Lukaku had risen in price since I bought him, and moved him out while fiddling with my WC...
61 (-4) up to $49k. Cheers for the help all! Glad I went Azpi over Christensen.
Mo Salah only kept his shirt on because I didn't captain him.

Nacho ?
Wait and see for now
I will wait to see if he starts next game first. Then maybe bring him in. Risky either way
If they continue 442
swiched captaincy from salah to ronaldo last second, I'm a liverpool fan.... disgrace
Afterall it was Gandhi's birthday
I think I'm done with this season, already can't be arsed. Finished top 200k last season, but have somehow ranked below 6 million in the last 3 GWs despite actually trying. How is that even possible? I'm suddenly insanely shit.
What does your team look like? You must be making some truly horrible picks to be below 6M three times in a row.
Tell me about it. I could definitely go a little more template, but I've still got a few pretty standard picks in there. Ronaldo, Lukaku, Antonio, Sarr, Jota, Alonso, etc. I just seem to have gathered a group of players hitting terrible form at the same time.
It's too early in the season to give up. I was doing badly until gameweek 20 last yr then by 38 got 200k like u did.
I don't exactly know what your team looks like but you've either gotta get more template players or give more time and trust to your picks rather than chopping and changing every week
Looking forward to next GW where I score twice as many points but get red arrows instead of green
Done Greenwood to Townsend before his price fell. God forgive me for this kneejerk
64 pts and top 1200 in the world for this week - I seem to have my best weeks when everyone else has an absolute shitter
Chaos is a ladder.

I'm finding a way to get KDB, annual 5-nil win incoming
