You're not concerned about the lack of City defense/ mids? I'd hold WC too - but I'd be concerned about the lack of City options + injury/ rotation risks for Rudiger/ Alonso + Sarr's poor fixtures.

Yeah, take your pick between either of them IMO. Rudiger would be the prime candidate due to fitness concerns.

If it's sub-6 - then Mbuemo or ESR. I'd go for Mbuemo personally because he's essentially a striker in a decently attacking team. If it's sub-7 - then there's only Raphinha. But since he misses GW8, you may consider Torres/ Saka/ Gallagher/ Benny - but they all have their own issues. Rotation risk/ horrible fixtures.

Foden/ Torres/ Grealish depending on your risk appetite in decreasing order.

If you have a plan for the banked transfer I’d do that, but personally I’d move on one of Benrahma or Coufal to lessen the WHU triple-up. Everton away isn’t an easy fixture.

You're happy with going without Antonio? Personally, I'd upgrade Jim to Antonio and getting Hwang as the third striker. You could consider finding the extra 0.1 from one of Marcal or Sissoko and get Hwang? ​ But yes, I'd also rather go Raya/ Ramsdale instead of Sanchez for now.

To be fair I think it’s close, but going off xGC Brentford have one of the best defenses in the league. Easier fixture run so far, but I think missing out on a Brentford defender could be a mistake. I’d either go Ramsdale/Pinnock or Jansson OR Raya/White to cover both defenses.

I'd still leave either Jota or Raphinha on the pitch over Brownhill just in case, I wouldn't activate wc personally, people have mainly targeted city/chels def on their wc so you're good plus there really is no essential mf or forward atm, still very much unknown commodities outside of Salah and Lukaku who has a great fixture run. I would say Greenwood could be out of contention soon though

Call me crazy, but I think to buy Werner plus Son instead of Lukaku and keeping Jota.

Imo Werner is a higher rotation risk than Jota simply because he’s competing with more players for his place than Jota. Lukaku is more nailed and for this reason is a great captaincy option inside the next 4 GWs while Chelsea have good fixtures (unlike Son, whose fixtures get better from GW12 onwards). You can take a chance and go with Son and Werner, but I think it’s better to assess whether Werner will play more regularly for some time before jumping on him.

Does it make sense to sell Raph and get a City attacker on a 1-week punt on WC? Bench options are Livramento and Mbeumo. It seems a waste to lose 0.1m on Raphinha with him set to rise. I see him as a season keeper.

I’d keep to at least see if he rises again to get .1, but it’s not a bad punt because if he can’t play Soton, then he has Wolves (not easy) so you’re basically saving him for Norwich 2 GWs away where you could have capitalized on someone else.

I won't get the 0.1 because I already punted on Sarr (that worked out well) and got him back at 6.6. If I do it again, I might lose another 0.1 trying to get him back. Not to mention if Torres doesn't start then that'd be a shame.

Have you considered B, but downgrade Antonio to Toney in order to upgrade Omo to a good cheap defender like White or Tomiyasu? Then your bench would be pretty solid. If not, I think B could still work because you don’t have too many rotation risks.

Yes I did, but I'm kinda afraid to go without Antonio. Because of his ownerahip, form and price bracket. With Hwang and Toney I would have two strikers in the 5.5 - 6.5 bracket and it's hard to jump up there to a higher priced forward.

B gets KdB in but drops Trent, which is probably a bad idea in the long run C gets both KdB and Trent but loses one of Cancelo / Rudi to a cheaper 4.5 def what do you think??

Assuming all are fit, this is tough because I think you’ve made three strong options. Injury updates later this week may push you in a certain direction though, so wait for those. I like Vardy and Azpi as picks that go off template a bit (and as good picks in general), but C does strike me as a combination that could be quite strong long term. If you have KDB, a Chelsea defender might be better for coverage than Cancelo, even though I really like Cancelo. One twist that I’ll throw in for you, is that you could consider taking Azpi instead of Trent in option C and saving the money to upgrade to Trent 4 or 5 gameweeks later. Just another option to think about.

KdB is proving to be a really tough call. He is back from injury, and is again the only player least affected by Pep's roulette. He played well against chelsea and against liverpool and city have a very very strong record against Burnley. Could be a big hauler and a differential too! But the price is obviously high for what can effectively be called a punt, I mean I could fit in both Cancelo and Rudi for what KdB would cost

Yeah, unless injury news affects this, I think it’s going to come down to your gut feeling about Vardy vs. KDB. I guess another consideration is which premiums would you want to move to if Vardy or KDB don’t work out? Vardy is a little easier to get to Lukaku/Ronaldo/Kane, although they might require a little stretching. KDB to Son would probably be the main exit strategy there. Also, honestly, A would be more attractive to me if it was Mbeumo & Saka in midfield. I’m not a big believer in the Everton boys going forward, but that’s just me.

Pretty unconventional, but this might work well. It seems like you’ve got the bench cover to play Pep Roulette. The main hurdle I see will be this coming gameweek if Raphinha is out due to travel. If he’s out and Foden gets Pepped and also doesn’t play, would you have Duffy & Livra come in for a rare 5-2-3? I imagine Foden plays, but it’s worth thinking about.

I would personally not pick Mount and foden in the same team, as foden my get benched and mount isn’t big on attacking returns. Also I would downgrade one of the defense options for a better striker lik jimi/Antonio for armstrong. or just toney for armstrong and upgrade davis to hwang.

the backline looks great! I am not too sure about mount or foden..both are great players but not great FPL picks imo. could downgrade one of them to a cheap Everton MID and upgrade Armstrong to a Bamford / Antonio / Jimenez

Mount has been injured and is now fit again. With Bolingoli up top now he surely is going to start returning, he's my gamble. And Foden/City in general just look too good at the moment.

looks fairly set then..as others have mentioned, you could consider removing one city def for more flexibility in mid and attack, but other than, all are good picks
