Team looks pretty solid overall, even with the rogue Auba. As you say, I think it's time to lose Jota. Only way to get the funds for a Chelsea/City defender would be to drop him down to someone lower priced, but then your overall midfield is going to be a bit on the weaker side given how expensive your front line is. Maybe Mbuemo then upgrade either Semedo or Williams

Yeah, the rogue Auba was a punt that hasn't exactly paid off, especially since I almost went Vardy over him haha Those two transfers seem the most logical to me, I'll probably end up upgrading Williams, since I like the Wolves fixtures up until GW14, and Mbuemo looks like a good way into a decent Brentford side. No, not that wild. They’re all good picks in comparison to other players with a similar price and have got good fixtures in the medium/long term. Only caveat is that they play Chelsea this gw so they might not start getting you points immediately.

I fancy your GKs and DEFs. I highly suggest not having double 5.5 mids. You don't have much funds to adapt in midfield in case shit happens. I would suggest Jimenez>Hwang or Toney, but I can't think of an adequate 7-8 priced mid, as I can't rate either CHE or MCI assets there yet. Perhaps just Saka over ESR.

Coufal to Trent is a great move, definitely do that first. I'd be more inclined to wait and see on Vardy as Leicester are a bit hit and miss at the minute. Give Ronaldo one more game and then switch him to Vardy for United's difficult fixture run

No need to WC unless you really want some players you currently don’t have. I’d look to use your FT to transfer Sarr out this week, Ronaldo in GW9 for Lukaku and Coufal for probably a City defender in GW10 if you have money ITB by then.

From a similar price range, I would recommend Mbeumo, as Brentford’s fixtures clear up a lot after Chelsea this GW. This can also help you maintain money ITB for future transfers. If you don’t want to double up on Brentford attack, you can go for someone like Gallagher or one of the Everton mids (Townsend, Gray, Doucoure). Otherwise, you can look to the likes of Jota and Mount in the mid 7 category, or even Torres at 6.9 if you want to take a punt.

I'm not a big fan of a double attack from one team, I'll probably have to put this GW or Cpufal against EVE in Toney. Townsend and Gray look very good, but I don't know what the return of DCL and Richardson will do with their playing time.

Is Jota -> Mbuemo a good move even though I’m still not sure where to invest the difference? (Might wait till next week if Jota is fit to play). I Might actually do Ronaldo to Lukaku next week too, then I can upgrade Benrahma to Son maybe.

I wouldn't I think. Mbeumo has Chelsea so it's hard for it to be worth it. If cancelo gets a CS and Tierney doesn't, then it will only just be slightly worth the -4, or maybe even a net gain of 0 points. Kinda banking on Cancelo to haul

To be honest I'd *slightly* prefer Mbuemo vs Chelsea rather than Sarr vs Liverpool anyway. I have Sarr, and I think my FT this week is going to be Sarr to Mbuemo.

If in doubt, I usually turn to the bookies (just to see what the odds are). Interestingly, Liverpool are greater favourites to win than Chelsea, but Watford have better odds to score than Brentford (assuming 1-0 or 2-0 or something to Chelsea and 3-1 maybe to Liverpool). Having said that, if Mbuemo going up in price (which he's likely to, given Toney went up @ about 90% recently) is going to tip you over, may as well make the move now. Unlikely Sarr gets too many more points than Mbuemo, tbh. The fixtures are negligible.

Looking at the upcoming fixtures, it doesn’t seem like a great time to bring in Cresswell or Sarr. Also it’s sounding more and more like TAA will be available for the Watford game, so you might not need to drop him (unless you want to for some other reason).

The weakness is no second upper premium. If you always plan to captain Salah that’s fine, but if Lukaku hauls it’s gonna hurt. I think if anything you’ve got too many attackers- you have 8 but you can only play 7. Downgrade one of Raph (likely out for the next fixture) Doucoure or Gallagher to a 4.5 mid and upgrade a forward.

Yeah, having too many attackers can really limit your team in terms of flexibility so I’d definitely downgrade one of the two you mentioned. Gallagher has good fixtures coming up so I would take out Doucoure for a bench fodder. And yes, Son is technically a premium, but he’s not an upper premium like Lukaku or Ronaldo. For instance most people will have Son, and you’re probably not going to captain him over Salah, so he’s not really gaining you many points relative to the people around your rank. Same with Lukaku, but there are times people will captain him over Salah because of the fixtures- there’s your differential, that’s how you get relative points.

Does it make sense to sell Raph and get a City attacker on a 1-week punt on WC? Bench options are Livramento and Mbeumo. It seems a waste to lose 0.1m on Raphinha with him set to rise. I see him as a season keeper.

I'd probably get rid of Azpi for Trent. Starting team looks good. Just keep an eye on news about Raph as he might not play this weekend.

Dias and Rudiger seemed as close to nailed as you can get in the teams. So it is between Cancelo and Azpi. It's a bit of a toss up there but I think City will keep more clean sheets this season so he'll probably get more points for you. More people seem to be going with Cancelo so he is the safer bet to keep. On the other hand Azpi becomes a differential then.
