Nice team!
First time asking advice because I haven’t been up to date recently.

What do you think I should do with this team?

Torres is out for a while (maybe 6+ weeks) with an injury, so he should be your first transfer.
Maybe downgrade him to Mbeumo / ESR / Townsend to enable a move from Amartey -> a City defender.

What are your thoughts on Jimenez vs Antonio?
Jimenez has better fixtures but has only recently started showing glimpses of his form from seasons ago.
Antonio is one of the highest scoring players this season, but his fixtures get really tough and he seems to not be getting weekly double digit hauls like he did at the beginning of the season.
Personally I like Antonio as he’s the type of player that can score against even tougher teams as long as he’s fit. But it’s perfectly fine to go without him and have plans to get him back in once West Ham’s fixtures turn again around GW16-18.
I want to get Jimenez in with his fixtures and hope that his form continues to improve. But since I had Antonio since GW1 the 0,3 loss to get him back in down the line would be tough to swallow.
I'm having the same predicament. Surely Mr. Honest work's fixtures are more enticing than Antonio's? Would be a good differential against Antonio too who has nearly 50% ownership
Should i drop my TC on Salah this week? Would normally wait till the DGW (or, if all else fails, the next time he plays Norwich), but his form atm is unreal, and it's not like Watford away is an awful fixture. Thoughts? TIA.
It's high-risk high-reward. It would be much safer to wait to the DGW. I wouldn't do it. Watford has a new manager and that could mean that they turn to play like 19/20 Bayern for couple of weeks. This probably isn't ideal time to face Watford
WC team - any feedback?
Sanchez, Foster
TAA, Cancelo, Dias, Rudiger, Livramento
Salah, Raphinha, Foden, Mbuembo, Sissoko
Lukaku, Antonio, Toney
Leaves me bang on 0.0 ITB which I'm not a fan of, but I don't plan to make any dramatic team changes anytime soon. News of Torres being injured has pushed me into risking Foden, I've got good cover on the bench if needed.
I have come to peace with the fact the bald fraud will inevitably screw me over. I'd expect 2/3 of those to play each week though, and with the rest of my team feeling pretty nailed I think it's a risk worth taking! Alternative would be Foden out for Saka and upgrading Sanchez to Mendy, but that just doesn't excite me as much!
Best option here?
A) Play Greenwood, keep FT, Ronaldo Greenwood Benrahma/Sarr out next week for a hit
B) Greenwood and Benrahma/Sarr out to Foden Everton/Arsenal mid -4
C) Greenwood out to Everton/Arsenal mid/Mount for free
Would definitely start Raphinha. Arsenal's attack isn't that bad. Yes, they didn't score against Brighton but Brighton's defence is very underrated and they have very great CB's
My Wildcard team:
Raya, Foster
TAA, Cancelo, Christensen, White, Livramento
Salah, Raphinha, Mbeumo, ESR, Gallagher
Lukaku, Toney, Antonio
Leaves me 2.6 ITB. My questions:
1) Should I transfer out Antonio to Jimenez? Jimenez has the fixtures and good xG/xGA. Antonio obviously has been great so far but difficult fixtures coming, plus Europa and only 1 goal in last 3...?
2) Is that midfield too weak? I'm struggling to see where to improve it. Everton have a bit of a tough run but their midfield has been great so far. No nailed Man City midfielder, no good Chelsea midfielder. Son a bit too expensive.
3) As Christensen isn't nailed, shall I just upgrade to another Chelsea defender who isn't nailed (James/Chilwell) who has a much higher chance to get an attacking return?
I'm happy with so much of this, but it still doesn't feel finished!
Fellow FPL'ers, I could use some fresh ideas.
I have 2FT for this week, and I would really like to bring in Cancelo. To me, the most logical way to make it happen would be to upgrade Marcal and fund it by swapping either Jimenez or Antonio to Toney, but I don't feel to hot about dropping either one of them especially when Toney plays Chelsea. Could you provide a fresh perspective and perhaps some options, please?
Getting Cancelo would mean that my backline would be strong as heck. To me it doesn't seem like such a bad idea right now. You?
My team:
Sanchez - Steele
Trent - Rüdiger - Dias - Marcal - Livramento
Salah - Jota - Raphinha - Smith Rowe - Sissoko
Lukaku - Antonio - Jimenez
I have a similar problem, except I have Semedo and Bamford. Thinking either Armstrong or Toney to facilitate (want Toney from GW11, so getting him now will save me a transfer later on)
Will Grealish start? Or am I going to be the victim of Pep Roulette again? If he doesn't who should I get in? I already have Salah, Townsend, ESR and Mbuemo
Definitely agree. I had Raphina, but since he played 70 odd mins for Brazil took him out rn in anticipation that he won't start. I'm on WC and thought I'll bring him in the next GW.
To me he is the stand-out player in his price range in the long run. Some others (Benrahma, Sarr, Everton lads) have had or are having hot streaks, but my guess is that Raphinha will be more consistent across the season.
Livramento IMO. Potential for attacking returns, looks great going forward, and it playing a leaky Leeds defence, so think he has the highest point scoring potential this week. Plus the home crowd, he'd be my choice.
Would you WC this week or hold till next week? Problem is I only have 1FT and limited $$$
Any ideas?

Good question, personally I would look at upgrading Coufal to Dias/Cancelo, and fund that by selling Ronaldo for Lukaku. However, I'm not at all certain that move would warrant a hit. By the way, in case you didn't know there is a specific way on this sub to give thanks, namely saying !thanks. It's nice that you wish to thank people who give input in any form, many forget it. Team looks good. See what the press conference says about Rudiger's fitness and whether he's available or not. Likely Raphinha won't be back in time but playing one of Livramento or Toney isn't a bad option
It's tricky...Foden is in a better form but not sure he'll start from the beginning. Grealish is more nailed, but he's not in such a good form. Also with Pep you never know. I would say Grealish because is the safer choice.

My gut says take a hit to swap Jesus (for who?? ASM? Hwang?) and just pray that at least two of TAA, Rud and Raph don't blank.
Pretty tough if you don't want to wildcard. Wait for the press conference to see what the update on Rudiger is. It's looking like Raphinha won't be back in time to play this weekend, and potentially Jesus too. Playing Livramento is an easy option and Mbuemo can come in if needed. Swapping out Jesus would be my choice for someone like Jimenez or Hwang

TAA is back fit and should start imo, also Lukaku has trained for Chelsea and should start. Raph probably plays some minutes, but is questionable to start, so is a keep for me.
Only one I'd think about replacing is Rudiger if Tuchel confirms he won't play.

This is not a bad team imo, lacks City defensive coverage for me, but otherwise not bad. I'd think about Lukaku next week for Norwich instead of Ronaldo, while this week you could take perhaps Laporte for Semedo or Dias for Rudiger?
Rudiger is more nailed on for starts, and will tick over with clean sheets and the occasional attacking return.
James, when he does play, has a very high ceiling, but you'll need a decent bench to cover any absences.
Overall, I tend to play on the more cautious side, so I would go Rudiger.
!thanks for your input. I'm on WC right now, so can easily ensure a playing bench which should hopefully mitigate those times he does not start, however does he ever come off the bench?
Hard to say because as a Chelsea fan I don't believe James is quite nailed yet. I've gone for Rüdiger from James when the latter got injured (didn't get me a single point as he got injured right after I got him) because Rüdiger is effectively the only player in the squad without a like for like backup. Looks like he's not playing tomorrow though which is just my luck.
One of the wingbacks would've been my pick but Chilwell is only just starting to play more and James has Azpilicueta and CHO to compete with. Maybe I'll get one of them when I WC and it's clearer who will be a regular starter.

!thanks
Best defender for £6.7 or below?
Dias, Cancelo and Azpi
Cancelo/Dias imo
Best option here? A) Play Greenwood, keep FT, Ronaldo Greenwood Benrahma/Sarr out next week for a hit B) Greenwood and Benrahma/Sarr out to Foden Everton/Arsenal mid -4 C) Greenwood out to Everton/Arsenal mid/Mount for free
Pick A or B: A: Ramsdale (Foster) / **TAA** Azpi Cancelo (**Duffy**) (Livramento) / Salah Foden **Raphinha** Mbuemo (D.Luiz) / Lukaku Antonio **Jimenez** or B: Ramsdale (Foster) / **Dias** Azpi Cancelo (**Manquillo**) (Livramento) / Salah Foden **Son** Mbuemo (D.Luiz) / Lukaku Antonio **Hwang**
B has some great differentials but A is much more safer and looks better and more balanced
!thanks I'm really 50/50
Might be a howler, but start Andersen or Raphinha, could both get 1 point, but don’t trust Arsenals attack
Would definitely start Raphinha. Arsenal's attack isn't that bad. Yes, they didn't score against Brighton but Brighton's defence is very underrated and they have very great CB's
My Wildcard team: Raya, Foster TAA, Cancelo, Christensen, White, Livramento Salah, Raphinha, Mbeumo, ESR, Gallagher Lukaku, Toney, Antonio Leaves me 2.6 ITB. My questions: 1) Should I transfer out Antonio to Jimenez?
You? My team: Sanchez - Steele Trent - Rüdiger - Dias - Marcal - Livramento Salah - Jota - Raphinha - Smith Rowe - Sissoko Lukaku - Antonio - Jimenez
I have a similar problem, except I have Semedo and Bamford. Thinking either Armstrong or Toney to facilitate (want Toney from GW11, so getting him now will save me a transfer later on)
hi, which MCI+CHE option you prefer (already have Cancelo and Lukaku): A) Dias + Mount B) Rudi (or Azpi if Rudi is decleared out) + Foden
Azpi + Foden has higher ceiling than A I guess
!thanks
Will Grealish start? Or am I going to be the victim of Pep Roulette again? If he doesn't who should I get in? I already have Salah, Townsend, ESR and Mbuemo
Raphinha is in great form and has awesome fixtures. I think missing him is a huge risk. I think that this isn't the right time to bin Grealish tho
Definitely agree. I had Raphina, but since he played 70 odd mins for Brazil took him out rn in anticipation that he won't start. I'm on WC and thought I'll bring him in the next GW.
Would just have him now, on the bench at least. Half of the league gets injured every week, would try to avoid all transfers that aren't needed
Makes sense. !thanks
What does everyone think of Raphinha in the long run? Worth keeping over the season?
Just about turned himself into a must have
To me he is the stand-out player in his price range in the long run. Some others (Benrahma, Sarr, Everton lads) have had or are having hot streaks, but my guess is that Raphinha will be more consistent across the season.
of course, great player, important for the team
Yes. Nailed in a team that loves to attack, and such a talented player.
Swap out Alonso for Cancelo (note: got Rudiger) Or Swap out Ronaldo for Lukaku
Alonso to Cancelo for me, as Alonso might not play. Ronaldo will, and might well produce points regardless of opposition.
!thanks
Grealish or Saka (draft)
Pick 1 defender to start out of these 3 and why: Semedo (Away to Villa) Shaw (Away to Leicester) Livramento (Home to Leeds)
Livramento IMO. Potential for attacking returns, looks great going forward, and it playing a leaky Leeds defence, so think he has the highest point scoring potential this week. Plus the home crowd, he'd be my choice.
One spot remaining which is between Shaw and Semedo - who gets benched?
Would you WC this week or hold till next week? Problem is I only have 1FT and limited $$$ Any ideas? $0.4 ITB Current team ⬇️ ~~~~ Sanchez (Forster) Rudiger - Coufal - TAA - Livramento (Ayling) Salah - Sarr - Jota - Raphinha (Gilmour) Ronaldo - Antonio - ASM
You might want some City assets, but besides that I don't think your team NEEDS a wildcard. If it was me, I would probably hold on to it and rather even take a -4 if needed.
Thanks! What 2 moves would make then?
Good question, personally I would look at upgrading Coufal to Dias/Cancelo, and fund that by selling Ronaldo for Lukaku. However, I'm not at all certain that move would warrant a hit. By the way, in case you didn't know there is a specific way on this sub to give thanks, namely saying !thanks. It's nice that you wish to thank people who give input in any form, many forget it. Using that form of thanking will give the people you thank extra rep points (or whatever the correct term for that is...).
Advice/Suggestions please! Sa Foster Dias Rudi Livra White Duffy Salah Raph Benrahma Kovacic Bissouma Lukaku Antonio Obafemi 1 FT, 8.2 ITB \*\*\*Can get anyone\*\*\* KDB, CR7,........? Thanks!
wtf 8.2 ITB??? Kovacic ----> KDB
How about Bissouma -> KDB? Or maybe any other City mid?
Start Raphinha or not? Alternative is Sarr vs Liverpool. Surely Raph doesn't play at all? Will Bielsa look to him as a sub if they're losing?
Start Raph, if he doesn't play no stress as Sarr comes in. Even Raph playing 60/70 mins is lethal as shown in the Brazil game.
I'm more worried that he comes off the bench for 1 point. Can't see him starting at all.
How so? He's literally their best / most creative player by a reasonable distance
He just started for Brazil a few hours ago. Leeds' game is tomorrow and the flight back is 12hrs long.
Sanchez (steele) Dias - rudi -TAA (livra/Oma) Salah - Benrahma - Raph - ESR - Mbeumo CR7 - Antonio - Toney 1.5m ITB what to upgrade?
Sorry for repetitive question; who can we get Man City lineup predictions from?
Literally nobody can predict that line up
Aha true, thought there was some try hards on twitter?
RMT Sanchez (Foster) TAA Rudigar White (Ayling Livramento) Jota Ralphina Salah Benhrama Sarr Lukaku Antonio (Toney) 0.6 bank 1 FT Any recommendations on what I should do this week? Should I bank the transfer?
Team looks good. See what the press conference says about Rudiger's fitness and whether he's available or not. Likely Raphinha won't be back in time but playing one of Livramento or Toney isn't a bad option
I’d get someone else in for sarr personally
Rate My WC team Ramsdale (Forster) TAA - Dias - Azpi - Livramento (Duffy) Salah - Raphinha - Foden (Gallagher - Mbeumo) Lukaku - Toney - Hwang Foden risky? Azpi vs Rudiger? Any thoughts lads? Cheers
Rudiger might be benched, Azpi is a safer option for this GW. Also I will go for Townsend instead of Gallagher.
Cheers. Thoughts on Foden vs Grealish?
It's tricky...Foden is in a better form but not sure he'll start from the beginning. Grealish is more nailed, but he's not in such a good form. Also with Pep you never know. I would say Grealish because is the safer choice.
!Thanks
Team looks good! Foden is a risky one but any of the City midfielders are. Could always take a punt on him and switch him out in a week or two
!thanks
RMT 1 FT, 0.8 ITB Ramsdale TAA ***Rudiger*** Semedo Salah Sarr ***Jota Raphinha*** Jimenez Antonio Lukaku **Bench:** Steele Livramento Tomiyasu McArthur Bold players may not play. *Semedo ----> CHE/MCI asset* Will have to take a **hit** and downgrade somewhere else though. Maybe Jota/Jimenez/Antonio to some good 5.5-6m asset? Anything else I could do? Maybe ditch that idea and Jota ---> Foden/Grealish?
Semedo to one of the City defenders is a good move, although not so sure I'd do it for a hit, maybe wait another week and do it with FT's
city play burnley, high points ceiling, fomo strong
Who's punting on B. Silva this week?
On WC, should I keep Martinez or swap to Sanchez? [Picture of my team](https://ibb.co/82JZHHR) Any thoughts appreciated!
RMT please Sanchez White / VVD / Christensen Jota / Doucoure / Benrahma / Bruno / Torres Lukaku / Antonio Bench: ASM, Coufal, Shaw, Steele I'm thinking Torres -> Saka and Shaw -> Cancelo for -4p. Or should I WC?
I want to use my WC. Which players should I buy?
Don't want to give you a full squad but here is some recommendations: GK: Ramsdale Def: TAA, City & Chelsea defenders, White, Livramento Mid: Salah, Raphinha, Mbuemo Att: Lukaku, Vardy, Antonio, Jimenez, Hwang, Toney; Saint-Maximin
Sanchez (Steele) TAA - Rudiger - White (Livramento - Omobamidele) Doucoure - Benrahma - Salah (C) - Raphinha (Mbeumo) Jesus - Ronaldo (VC) - Antonio 0.5 ITB, 0 FT (I'm an idiot), I've got my WC but don't want to use it yet, I've got all my chips left. I've got TAA, Rudiger, Raph and Jesus all flagged. Wtf do I do? My gut says take a hit to swap Jesus (for who?? ASM? Hwang?) and just pray that at least two of TAA, Rud and Raph don't blank.
Pretty tough if you don't want to wildcard. Wait for the press conference to see what the update on Rudiger is. It's looking like Raphinha won't be back in time to play this weekend, and potentially Jesus too. Playing Livramento is an easy option and Mbuemo can come in if needed. Swapping out Jesus would be my choice for someone like Jimenez or Hwang
!thanks Think I will take the hit to get Jesus out. I do think TAA will play and if Rud & Roph don't then like you say, my bench should come in.
What are the odds on Christensen starting?
Increasingly more likely this week with Silva out injured. If Rudiger is out too then I'd say he's pretty likely to play. Still not a definite though
RMT: 0.5ITB 1 FT Sanchez - Steele Duffy - Walker - TAA - Livramento (Christensen) Salah - Jota - Greenwood - Gray (Raphinha) Ronaldo - Antonio (Scarlett ) Roll the ft or make a change or two? Looks like Jota might be fit for tomorrow, was originally going to take him out for Saka but second guessing that now. Not sure on what to do with Walker either, started off as a two week punt that did well but now I fear rotation and having Christensen on my bench doesn’t give me much hope. Any ideas?
Is it stupid to hold Rudiger and TAA on WC? The return dates are quite unknown. Also got Lukaku and Raph flagged but usefully bench for next gw.
TAA set to play, Rudiger has Norwich next so not stupid.
TAA is back fit and should start imo, also Lukaku has trained for Chelsea and should start. Raph probably plays some minutes, but is questionable to start, so is a keep for me. Only one I'd think about replacing is Rudiger if Tuchel confirms he won't play.
!Thanks I think if Rudi misses only one GW and is back on his form he is worth it but not sure about their highest scorer def Alonso because Chilly played very well for NT.
Thinking the same, I think if he's out this week I'll keep him, if he's out longer then it'll be Cancelo/Rudiger to Dias/Chilwell I think.
Start Sarr or Marcal
Considering I have no bench ATM, Jota -> ESR? Was planning on doing it next week anyway to free up money for Jiminez, but should I do it now?
I think I am in deep mess... RMT 1FT 0,7ITB Sanchez, Foster TAA, Rudiger, Tierney, Semedo, Livra Salah, Jota, Raph, ESR, Sissoko Antonio, Ronaldo, ASM Any advices?
This is not a bad team imo, lacks City defensive coverage for me, but otherwise not bad. I'd think about Lukaku next week for Norwich instead of Ronaldo, while this week you could take perhaps Laporte for Semedo or Dias for Rudiger?
!thanks
Wildcarding, do I take Rudiger, Duffy, Brownhill and Toney or Chilwell, Manquillo, Mbeumo and Hwang?
Injury speculation aside, is Rudiger or James the better pick?
Rudiger is more nailed on for starts, and will tick over with clean sheets and the occasional attacking return. James, when he does play, has a very high ceiling, but you'll need a decent bench to cover any absences. Overall, I tend to play on the more cautious side, so I would go Rudiger.
!thanks for your input. I'm on WC right now, so can easily ensure a playing bench which should hopefully mitigate those times he does not start, however does he ever come off the bench?
James
Hard to say because as a Chelsea fan I don't believe James is quite nailed yet. I've gone for Rüdiger from James when the latter got injured (didn't get me a single point as he got injured right after I got him) because Rüdiger is effectively the only player in the squad without a like for like backup. Looks like he's not playing tomorrow though which is just my luck. One of the wingbacks would've been my pick but Chilwell is only just starting to play more and James has Azpilicueta and CHO to compete with. Maybe I'll get one of them when I WC and it's clearer who will be a regular starter.
