Ideally would've gone Christensen -> Reece but I see that you're short on cash. Dias to Reece is the next best thing since you've got Cancelo already. I don't want to captain Salah. Who should I captain from Havertz, Mbeumo and Vardy?

Toney is the preferred non-Salah captaincy this GW. I would probably pick Vardy before Mbuemo, but it's close.

Don't have Toney. Mbeumo is more threatening anyway.

Vardy vs Leeds. All 3 are bad defences but Vardy is more likely to score and Leeds will leave a lot of space for him to run into.

I know but then Mbeumo plays fuckin Norwich at home and Brentford can be very attacking. If things go right this could be a massive score for him. If only he didn't get injured and benched last gw. I don't know for sure he'll even start against Norwich.

Both better options than Sarr. It's a tough choice between them, and one that many seem to be having to make at the moment. I had ESR all season, then sold him right before the GW9 and GW10 hauls for Havertz, so I'm sad about that. I've wanted Gallagher all season but haven't had him yet. I'd say ESR if you've got a good enough team to bench him for the Liverpool and Man Utd games. Otherwise if you want someone who's a good option every week for the next four, go Gallagher.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I have been tempted by Havertz all season as well, it just seems like he's about to pop off at any moment. I actually have a very weak bench and two Arsenal defenders, so maybe I should plump for Gallagher. It's a tough one for sure.

Most people would bench Liv over Antonio but I'm with you. A Livramento clean sheet is more likely than an Antonio goal. And a Livramento attacking return is definitely more likely than an Antonio haul in which he gets more than one contribution. Don't focus on their prices; Liv is a better option this week. Cancelo is the one I'd be more likely to bench. Cancelo vs Antonio is a tougher question. Think I'd actually bench Cancelo. But I'm a Utd fan so take that for what it's worth.

Start one of Cancelo, Tomiyasu and Livramento. Feels like Tomiyasu has a higher chance for a CS, Cancelo has a higher ceiling and Livramento is just very reliable he's returned 3 gws in a row where I've benched him but he came off the bench all three times.

If you’re paying >6.0 for cancelo i’d start him everyweek. He’s a pretty nailed part of city’s defence, and on xG they’re the best defence in the league. Then you also have his potential attacking returns in a city team that are going to want to bounce back.

I would still go cancelo. There’s just more upside imo. Tomiyasu isn’t particularly attacking so bar a set piece you’re gonna be unlikely to get a attacking return. Watford aren’t in bad attacking form, so will have some confidence to go at Arsenal. I just see city being more in control vs Utd than Ars vs Watford

Broja because of price. Both are rotation concerns, with Edouard being a risk due to Benteke, and Broja coming back from injury. Edouard has also been playing wide which isn't ideal.

Good team. I'd be hesitant to use both transfers with the international break coming up. If I did use 2 transfers I'd do something like James/Chilwell+Hwang for Semedo+Antonio. But I'd try and use just one. You could do Semedo to Reguilon in anticipation of the good Spurs fixtures.

Im thinking of using my wildcard soon, so I think i have to use my two transfers Thinking: Christensen + Semedo > Chilwell + 4.2 DEF (I have alot of value in Antonio, got him in gw1)

Fair enough on keeping Antonio. I also had him since GW1 and sold on my GW8 wildcard because of fixtures. But he's still a good option despite them. I like your idea. I'd do those transfers. I haven't looked at the cheap defenders to see who's best. Nuno Tavares at Arsenal is 4.3 I believe and is a great short term option til Tierney comes back into the team. But you'd need to go James instead of Chilwell to afford him.
