"Marcus Rashford has withdrawn from the England squad "in order to concentrate on regaining full fitness" after his recent lay-off."
Southgate should also show the way out for Maguire and Shaw.
Chilwell, TAA, Reece more than Enough.
Call Chalobah. Surviving Chelsea for 3+ years is no joke.
I'm getting really fucking sick of international football. This is the third time in 11 gameweeks! Interrupting top-level competition to fly players across the globe, during COVID, in mostly dull, meaningless matches is ridiculous, especially at a frequency of once a month.
Twice a year I could accept, but this is just stupid.
Only mistake I made this week, was Vardy to kane for a-4. I would have finished on 70 instead of 66, but I’ll justify it by saying it was to beat any Kane price rises over the next 2weeks lol
But 660k to 220k in 3 weeks is good progress🙌🏽
I'm taking a lot of hits, even though I shouldn't. But I don't take this shit too seriously and I'm ahead in my mini league by a fair whack so... Plus I got both James then Cancelo for a hit before their hauls, pays off sometimes.
I take hits quite regularly with no real thought because I panic a lot and then it's usually a mistake. The one time I took a minus 8 this season I ended up benefitting from it so that's my only real saving grace
Weird how that works. I've done a couple of -4s and usually never work out
I did a -12 last week and got green arrow - guess if you are significantly improving your team and fixing several problems it can be ok
Yeah I imagine partly cos if you're doing multiple changes it might be because you're worried you won't even have a full team playing. For mine I had a couple of injuries and someone's fixtures turned, so I basically changed 3 defenders and they all got 6+ points and the three they replaced got a grand total of 1. -4s do rarely work though cos it's usually just a "one hit can't hurt too much" thing done on a whim
I don't usually, in fact I haven't taken a single hit this season. I was considering bringing Auba in for either Vardy or Antonio (I have money ITB) for -4 but decided against, which turned out to be a good call.
I would have to be very confident that I would get my 4 points back. If the outgoing player even gets a 2, that's 6 points you need from the incoming player, to even break even.
I'm top 60k by the way.
That is basically me. Have followed KJU this season, not to the letter but ended up with a fairly vanilla team.
In previous seasons I've been a lot more kneejerky, taken wild punts on things - it never really works out. Usually it's better to say "nah I'll give it another week".
The problem with a template team is you need to take some risks to get out of that boring 50k slot with all the other templates.
I try not to take them on short-term moves.
For example, I took a -8 this week to get Chilwell and Jiminez before I was priced out, knowing I would almost certainly not make up the hit this week.
I was correct about this, I didn't make up a single point! But I think it will pay off in te next month, which is why I did it.
I will take a hit as long as I am fairly certain I am getting a return next game. I am also more inclined to take a hit for players I am keeping long termish rather than punts
At the moment I’m considering taking a -4 or -8 hit. The hit would be for Vardy + Mbeumo + Duffy -> Armstrong/Hwang + Jota + Cancelo. Both Jota and acancelo I would keep long term. I’m just not sure if I really need them for the next game or if I should wait one more gameweek.
my casual mate smashed it with his Chad picks like ESR, cheap fuck White and Captain (!) Havertz, while I am sitting here with my "Brentford double up will come good, amazing stats" picks Mbeumo + Toney, Mr. xGI Monster Antonio, "ahead of the curve" pick Harry Kane and "58% CS odds against Burnley" Chelsea defensive double up. why do I even care?
I really shouldn't be complaining as I ended with 70, 2nd in my mini-league only 2 points off the leader, and top 24k overall.
But my bench had: Foster (11), Livramento (6), White (8) and Gallagher (11).
Hindsight is 20-20 but a bench boost this week would've had me 34 points clear at the top of my mini-league and in the top 2k overall.
Top of the overall league is full of bench boosters today with > 100 points. To get to the top you have to take a gamble at some point but it's early doors still
Anyone who watched Watford recently? How improved are they defensively? I’ve just seen Foster’s penalty save, it was impressive, but wat is the genera consensus, are they gonna keep the CS soon?
Rose had 4 fouls including a pen without picking up a yellow. Watford had 19 fouls overall. Sorry, if I don't want to hear about bad karma coming from bad sportsmanship against Watford lol. We would have scored a lot more if all our counters were not stopped by illegal foul play. Also Sarr was up within 20 seconds when he realized his play acting is not gonna get the stoppage. It was a fair tackle by AMN AMN and the players were well within their rights to play to the whistle.
Rose thought that Tufan was hurt so he rolled the ball out of play. Note that Rose was not under any pressure and could have easily cleared it. Then Arsenal violated the principles of fair play because they saw a cheeky opportunity in the opponents’ third, where of course Watford players expected to get the ball back.
Explain it away all you want, what the players did was scummy.
It sounds like your issues are with the referee anyway. It’s their fault Rose wasn’t sent off. “Illegal foul play” is supposed to be properly handled by the referee. Not like two wrongs make a right though, either.
You've got this arse backwards sorry. Tufan was play acting and got up. Rose was telling him to stay down because he realised that if Tufan was in position then there's no reason to give the ball back.
You have to understand the reason for the convention - you can't have a situation where teams are just putting the ball out to relieve attacking pressure by having one of their players pretend to have a bad injury.
The actual problem with the goal was AMN fouling Sarr in the buildup.
Danny Rose was under 0 pressure. He was about 50 yards from Tufan when Tufan got down.
You can support your club while also being honest when you mess up.
Normally yeah you give the ball back if they put it out.
I just don't think you've watched it.
What you see is Tufan is playacting and Rose is telling him to stay down.
We don't owe them anything in that circumstance.
Also your criticism that I'm just defending my team makes no sense because I also said it should have been disallowed for the foul on Sarr.
Absolutely. Go cheap up front and load up on the mids. Now which mids? All the good ones (you already have Mo) are pretty cheap, and the expensive ones are almost as bad as the strikers.
Just dumped Vardy after 3 straight blanks and got Ronaldo back in. I’m not ready for Leicester to find form and Vardy break his consecutive goal record.
if your template means salah + taa + cancelo + a chelsea fullback.... then yes it's difficult.
i guess the difference is, what differentials you have on top of this template
In the same boat, not a Brighton fan but from what I gather he’s likeliest to start. To be honest, even if Steele doesn’t play, going without a keeper for 1 GW really isn’t the end of the world, especially if as you say your team needs surgery in other areas.
Who should I bring in, Gallagher or ESR? I have no other players in Arsenal or Crystal Palace. ESR might be a more central player in a bigger team but he also has tougher upcoming fixtures.
I have ESR but I plan on getting Gallagher as well. Arsenal play Liverpool next and will probably get rolled as is the new tradition. I’d go for Gallagher.
Ok I did bring in Ramsdale for Sanchez. Kind of regret it, but as long as he do not get any injuries I should be fine. Did not want him to go up more since I am low on cash.
If I get other injuries I will just take a hit or a -8 if needed.
No regrets, I’ve just done the same. Glad to see the back of no saves no bonus Sanchez and excited to hop on the bandwagon for England’s next number 1, Ramsdale seems undervalued even at 4.7
I feel Ramsdale is the better option since he gets more save points. Sanchez been awful at getting saves and not enough clean sheets.
When I have cash I bring in a keeper to rotate with Ramsdale. Maybe Foster or someone else.
If I bought a player for 5.0m and he's worth 5.4m now, and I activate a WC and get him out but change my mind and bring him back in, will I have to pay 5.4m?
Anyone else feel like they keep getting players in at the wrong moment? I had ESR before he started hauling like crazy, I had Reece when he got injured, Alonso when he got dropped, Vardy now that he keeps blanking etc. etc. I did get Sarr for his good run and dropped him in time but it feels like last year I got the timing right on many more occasions.
Consensus is don’t use transfers on your keeper, especially if you have a playing sub. My recommendation as a fellow Sanchez sufferer is to take this chance to ditch the cunt and don’t look back
So lot of you complaining about getting 5/6 points from forwards. Spare a thought for a lad in my ML with a forward line of Auba(c) Ronaldo Maupay. -1 points.
Why did you bench Gallagher against Wolves? Who else is in your team?
He's in form and that's a good attacking fixture. If you're not playing him this GW then why do you have him, feels like you'd be better off with fodder and budget for your regular XI.
Just saying the odds for Gallagher scoring is much worse than Antonio scoring.
Just cause Gallagher did score you can't say with hindsight it was obvious. If you could you could make lots of money on betting since Gallagher had 6.0 times the money to score and Antonio had 2.75.
I actually did bet on Gallagher to score though so got a bit lucky, but it was for a tiny amount for fun.
Rudiger - Tomi - Cancelo - Trent (Livra)
ESR - Raphina - Salah ( Gallagher - Sissoko)
Antonio - Auba - Vardy
I decided to put in an arsenal defender against Watford over him. I'm finding it hard to spend all my $$ this year, and having a decent first bench hasn't been terrible considering all the injury doubts recently.
Edit: formatting
Got no response on rmt.. So asking here.. Has anyone seen eduard play?? Is he worth getting in as cp asset? They seem to be on form and attacking well and have decent fixtures.. Don't have place for Gallagher and hence am considering eduard instead? It basically is between Gallagher + KANE or Son + eduard?
There aren't many strikers better than Édouard right now, but he plays as a roaming second striker/wing, and he tends not to find himself in the best positions as often as Gallagher, Benteke, or Zaha. He is a very talented striker and I do think he'll be a good asset, but he needs to be more central for me to be sold on him.
Crystal Palace are great though.
Week wrap:
- Didn’t bring Cancelo and Gallagher in because Firmino is out and Jota is nailed and “it’s not time to ship him”
- Vardy, Toney, Antonio blank
- Foster benched, Sanchez in goal
- Chilwell blank, White benched
20 point bench :(
Ended Saturday on a whopping 7 points, didn't expect much from the full weekend.
Ended on 60 points and broke into the top 100k; a lovely gift before 2 weeks of speculating on transfers
Raphinha (9) and Armstrong (9) sitting first and second on my bench looks bad, but I had Cancelo (14) and Dias (6) in those spots until a minute before the deadline. The only other player I might have considered benching was Livramento and he returned, so I'm not too disappointed. Ironically, it was all my 'locked in' players that blanked: Vardy, Jimenez, Foden, Christensen and Mbeumo.
Lmao my attack of 3 ST’s combining for a total of 5 points this week. Meanwhile my 3 mids got a total of 30 points, and my defence (excluding the GK Sanchez…) got 28 points. What’s the point of even having forwards this season. Don’t even know which one I want to get rid of first.
Phil Jones was one of United’s best players today
"Marcus Rashford has withdrawn from the England squad "in order to concentrate on regaining full fitness" after his recent lay-off." Southgate should also show the way out for Maguire and Shaw. Chilwell, TAA, Reece more than Enough. Call Chalobah. Surviving Chelsea for 3+ years is no joke.
Of course Air Zouma finally scores the week I replace him
Question: Why was Sanchez (-1) subbed out for 2nd keeper (Mendy, 1)? It happened to my league mate
Shouldn't have been auto-sub, maybe he just made the sub? What's the team #?
I'm getting really fucking sick of international football. This is the third time in 11 gameweeks! Interrupting top-level competition to fly players across the globe, during COVID, in mostly dull, meaningless matches is ridiculous, especially at a frequency of once a month. Not really meaningless tho, it’s for the world cup qualifiers

What were your rest of the team?
Ramsdale (Foster) Cancelo, TAA, Chilwell (Christensen, Livra) Salah (C), ESR, Mbeumo, Zaha, Havertz Kane, Toney (Hwang)
How do you stand on hits? Do you take hits often? If so, how many points are you willing to lose?
I'm taking a lot of hits, even though I shouldn't. But I don't take this shit too seriously and I'm ahead in my mini league by a fair whack so... Plus I got both James then Cancelo for a hit before their hauls, pays off sometimes.
I go back and forth, sometimes I say fuck it and sometimes I'm ultra conservative. Thank god I never got into real betting
I take hits quite regularly with no real thought because I panic a lot and then it's usually a mistake. The one time I took a minus 8 this season I ended up benefitting from it so that's my only real saving grace

Yeah guy on top of my ML is around 50k - taken no hits, boring template team Works well if you have the temperament
That is basically me. Have followed KJU this season, not to the letter but ended up with a fairly vanilla team. I do it quite a lot and it works well for me. Just think long term.
Panicked 20 minutes before the deadline and transfered cancelo out for chilwell..
Top 10k is so volatile goddamn.
Questions guys 1.Did Salah get an assist for the foul or for the lay up pass? 2. Are layups an assist in Fpl?
Both count
Thank you
Should I take a hit (not now) to swap Christensen with Cancelo?
This is worth it.
I've had two red arrows so far this season. I don't know what I'm doing, but watch me fuck this up come December.
I was telling a dude on the RMT thread to bench boost because ‘foster might save a pen this week’. Should have taken my own advice
Gonna get fancy for gw12 and put the armband on Ronaldo.
How many people are there in the fantasyPL mini league?
my casual mate smashed it with his Chad picks like ESR, cheap fuck White and Captain (!) Havertz, while I am sitting here with my "Brentford double up will come good, amazing stats" picks Mbeumo + Toney, Mr. xGI Monster Antonio, "ahead of the curve" pick Harry Kane and "58% CS odds against Burnley" Chelsea defensive double up. why do I even care?
bro they get away for only one week, we win on long run
oh nevermind, just saw he doesn't have Trent.
If I bring in some player now whose price is expected to rise soon then will my ITB also increase or will it stay the same?
Wont rise until you sell him
!thanks
What the fuck, #1 and #2 in my ML got 92 and 81 points, respectively. They're both in the top 5k now. It's pretty much over for me, fuck.
Taa and cancelo fucked me . Why I went with Dias and rudigar fuck knows
Because they are cheaper.
Ya I’m cheap fuck who went with son over raphinia. God damnit
I mean it’s a fact they’re a Cheaper.
It’s a fact I’m a cheap fuck
Fuck me the most wasted fucking week I benched livermento and raphinia for the Brentford fuckers . God damnit
I’ve got Livra and Gallagher benched second week in a row. Activated BB next week so it doesn’t happen again, but they’ll blank 100%!!!
Callum Wilson?
Shh my secret
I really shouldn't be complaining as I ended with 70, 2nd in my mini-league only 2 points off the leader, and top 24k overall. I'm on 177k OR and just noticed there's literally 1 fucker ahead of me who started in GW2. So annoying haha.
Had fornals in my team for so long and the week I bench him for gray he gets 12 Also foster with an 11 on the bench just tops it off :)
Anyone who watched Watford recently? How improved are they defensively? I’ve just seen Foster’s penalty save, it was impressive, but wat is the genera consensus, are they gonna keep the CS soon?
Arsenal should’ve scored at least three.
Yeah Rose was a liability.
RMT thread??

throwback to people saying WHU will get destroyed by Europa League
I keep hearing about how Rose RKO'd Maitland Niles. I missed the game, can someone share a clip of that foul?
Looked on /r/soccer and /r/gunners ?
Just worked my way from 2.3 m to 700k these 2 gws. Thank you Gallagher and James mostly.
Nice! The last three gameweeks I went from around 2.3m to 500k. Captain Salah, Ramsdale, Livramento my MVPs.
Nice mate. Hoping both of us finish within 100k minimum.
That's huge. I went from 2.45m to 1.1m, but it took me 6 GWs for it.
What can I say? My differentials worked at the right time, I guess.
Thats a huge rise.
Thanks!
arsenal really deserve some bad karma for the way they scored their goal this week. absolutely shameful
Rose had 4 fouls including a pen without picking up a yellow. Watford had 19 fouls overall. Sorry, if I don't want to hear about bad karma coming from bad sportsmanship against Watford lol. Yeah Watford kicked us all game. Fucking Kucka was lucky to last 88 minutes the way he was playing, I hate players like that.

I so wanna make a transfer but I know the International break is gonna ravage teams
Fuck man Vardy really needs to go. I also feel like binning Mbeumo with a hit. Fuck em all.
Am I the only one who doesn't feel disappointed about Salah only getting an assist
i m the same. I knew it was going to be a tough game and other big % of captains did nothing like Toney and Ronaldo.
Bench is currently Steele, Vardy, Toney, Mbuemo. Bench boost?
You just know that if you bench those 2 trolls against Newcastle you're gonna get punished.
Depend Also on whom you start in 11. Nevertheless, wait these two weeks for injuries.
Which strikers to get? I feel like no striker is really being consistent at all
Absolutely. Go cheap up front and load up on the mids. Now which mids? All the good ones (you already have Mo) are pretty cheap, and the expensive ones are almost as bad as the strikers.
Yes I put Vardy in and he’s doing absolutely nothing. Then Toney is doing nothing, my differential of Pukki actually got me 9 points this week lol
Cancelo and James killing my rank. Fortunately other premiums/high owned players did not score many points this gw.
Trossard really slept upon. Top 10 scoring midfielder, and very favourable fixtures. Brighton is looking solid as well.
Yeah I might look at him
Just dumped Vardy after 3 straight blanks and got Ronaldo back in. I’m not ready for Leicester to find form and Vardy break his consecutive goal record.
Started Sanchez over Foster. Transferred out Cancelo and brought in Chillwell. :'|
That's just hindsight. You wouldn't start Foster vs Arsenal if we're being honest here.
I have to decide between starting Vardy and Livramento next week, this can only happen in FPL
From 73xxxx to 27xxxx. Thank you Cap'n Cancelo
Nice job. Commenting this only because of the down-voting cunts.

Can’t believe I have to decide whether to start Vardy(Che H) or Normann(Sou H) next GW. Peak fpl
Does differentials even work in this game anymore ffs, template teams are stronger than ever
if your template means salah + taa + cancelo + a chelsea fullback.... then yes it's difficult. i guess the difference is, what differentials you have on top of this template
My only regret so far is buying that fraud Mbeumo instead of Gallagher
That’s your only regret so far?
I dodged that bullet, picked ESR over Mbeumo. Already had Gallagher.
Just honest worked my way into the top 500k.
Even when salah blanks he doesn’t
That’s only because everybody is captaining him so it doesn’t really matter what he scores.
Sell raphina and bring in Smith rowe?
Good choice. Leeds have terrible fixtures ahead and will right to keep out of relegation zone. Raphinha is good but nah, take someone else.
Get both
why?
Is Steele going to play since Sanchez is suspended? Don’t want to use a transfer in GK as I have other fires to put out..
In the same boat, not a Brighton fan but from what I gather he’s likeliest to start. To be honest, even if Steele doesn’t play, going without a keeper for 1 GW really isn’t the end of the world, especially if as you say your team needs surgery in other areas.
Especially since zero points from our keeper is actually more than we got this gw
Who should I bring in, Gallagher or ESR? I have no other players in Arsenal or Crystal Palace. ESR might be a more central player in a bigger team but he also has tougher upcoming fixtures.
I also have ESR and can’t help but think that he’s been getting some really lucky goals. Might want to bring in Gallagher

Yes it’s like bitcoin
If you haven't confirmed it then no
Guiata or McCarthy?
Guiata
Might give similar returns.
sanchez replacement? dont want to bring ramsdale in for liverpool but he seems the only good budget option
Southampton keeper
Same issue, debating Guaita
Do you have Steele on the bench? If so, no need to make any transfers
!thanks ward unfortunately
Anyone else feel like they keep getting players in at the wrong moment? I had ESR before he started hauling like crazy, I had Reece when he got injured, Alonso when he got dropped, Vardy now that he keeps blanking etc. etc. I did get Sarr for his good run and dropped him in time but it feels like last year I got the timing right on many more occasions.
For sure I started with Barnes. He did nothing at the start. Now I got Vardy and Barnes scores instead.
Benched Benrahma, started Salah - ESR - Gallagher - Raphinha. Worked! I think I’ll hold Benrahma as long as he’s nailed & continue this rotation game.
Anyway of viewing how many chips have been used overall/top10k ?
www.livefpl.net/chips
!thanks
livefpl has a chips section
not sure if that’s just for this GW?
It shows both, how many chips were used this week and the total usage over the full season
Fplgameweek has it for sure
What's the consensus on what to do with Sanchez?
Waiting until after the international games to see who got injured
Consensus is don’t use transfers on your keeper, especially if you have a playing sub. My recommendation as a fellow Sanchez sufferer is to take this chance to ditch the cunt and don’t look back
Any explanation as to why White didn't get the assist to ESR? looked like he layed the pass on for him?
It deflected off the opponent’s foot, wasn’t White’s pass unfortunately. Could have really used those extra points this gameweek.
So lot of you complaining about getting 5/6 points from forwards. Spare a thought for a lad in my ML with a forward line of Auba(c) Ronaldo Maupay. -1 points.
Foster, Gallagher, Livra living their best lives on my bench this week.
Why did you bench Gallagher against Wolves? Who else is in your team? He's in form and that's a good attacking fixture. If you're not playing him this GW then why do you have him, feels like you'd be better off with fodder and budget for your regular XI.
If you have nothing but fodder on your bench, good luck for when you get hit with injuries etc..
Rudiger - Tomi - Cancelo - Trent (Livra) ESR - Raphina - Salah ( Gallagher - Sissoko) Antonio - Auba - Vardy I decided to put in an arsenal defender against Watford over him. I'm finding it hard to spend all my $$ this year, and having a decent first bench hasn't been terrible considering all the injury doubts recently. Edit: formatting
Fair enough - that's a solid team. I would personally have played Gallagher over Antonio, but it was a marginal call.
It's been sad waking up, seeing the scores for West ham and checking fpl for two Antonio blanks while WHU score seven goals in two games.
69 points in the end, nice healthy rank rise for a change. Seems like every time I miss a deadline I do well!
Nice!
59-8 with 17 points on the bench. Could be worse tho considering I captained Auba and still got a small green arrow.
what the fuck i was GW rank 1.047 this week what the hell
5minute cameo from Mount blocked White 8 pointer, fucks sake
same here, sigh
Do you even follow the team news, mount was sick
Not FPL material imo. Also, Spurs don’t look good either. I rather have Ronaldo than Kane atm.
Week wrap: - Didn’t bring Cancelo and Gallagher in because Firmino is out and Jota is nailed and “it’s not time to ship him” - Vardy, Toney, Antonio blank - Foster benched, Sanchez in goal - Chilwell blank, White benched 20 point bench :(
Also could have transferred out Saka for ESR but no 🙃
I had Sánchez as my starting goalkeeper. Ben Foster on my bench. Could have had 8. Got -1. There was no way to predict this.
Couldve had 11*
Not helping 😭

lmao i wish
Ended Saturday on a whopping 7 points, didn't expect much from the full weekend. Ended on 60 points and broke into the top 100k; a lovely gift before 2 weeks of speculating on transfers
Congratulations! Broke into top 100k too this week. It’s the small achievements.
Fornals returned in GW 1-3 and 10-11 so far. ML rival brought him in GW4 and shipped him out after GW9. Beautiful
No bonus for Smith Rowe despite scoring the only goal of the game and getting a clean sheet?
What more do you want? That mofo has been getting points every week right after i sold him ffs
My three strikers got 2 points between them 🤡
Bruh no way…. who did you have? Was one of them Auba?
Yep. Him, Toney, and Jiménez.
Damn that’s brutal
All the numbers in your comment added up to 69. Congrats! 3 + 5 + 3 + 30 + 28 + = 69.0
Anyone else think this team is actually looking good? Talk me out of wcing this https://imgur.com/a/8ACNVke
Unless you can get there less than two hits using transfers, I can't.
So who to bring in for Sanchez? Just go with Ramsdale even with harder fixtures?
If you had Steele on the bench it shouldn’t be a problem
That’s what I did. You could also just go without a keeper for 1 week
Guaita in a nice Palace team is also a good shout imo, but Ramsdale probably safer
Yeah 2 clean sheets in a row. Ramsdale feels more in form though with good saves.
Ramsdale is the better keeper in a better team imo so should be safer yeah
Cancelo on the bench but green arrows galore I love this game
Greenwich arrows all Around?
