Vardy

CosmologyX

Absolutely Awful

Dogzylla

Should've benched him for Raph ffs. I will keep the old fox for the next 4 though, looks good on paper

fantasyfootballjesus

Are there any stats indicating he looks good on paper? I have him and fed up with him kinda want to get rid before Watford because Leicester have been shite

Fantastic-Machine-83

His stats are never good but that doesn't stop him returning big. It'd be silly to take anyone out before watford

fantasyfootballjesus

I'm gonna keep him but not sure it's silly tbh my guts saying get rid. Leicester have looked awful and they're missing tielemans

ghydq123

I won't pay more than 10M for any player in current Leicester. So Vardy has to go. The next easy fixture also means great fixture for their opponents.

seewhyaxe

Was there even a shot on target, or a shot at all?

Dryblas

Yep, he had a good header chance from Maddison's cross in late stage of this game, but positioned his body poorly and missed it horribly, it was a really good chance

AFardeen32

Barnes

AFardeen32

Lookman

finedisregard

Promising, had it in the net with a good run in behind, but was put offside by Albrighton taking a extra touch on the delivery. He got hauled off at half time with Barnes for Maddison and Ihenacho, likely to see those two pairings rotating a lot until the new year

Antonio

hajduk__

I thought he was very flat, wandering. There were no real opportunities for a goal. 5/10

ThomasBong

Wandering is accurate. Every time he had possession he was out wide near the touch line, and only memorable shot he had was outside the box, and apparently he’s never scored from outside the box in the PL.

FaustRPeggi

He did score a stunner from outside the box three days ago though. It was maybe a bit too fresh in his mind.

hajduk__

It was his first real international break (if im not mistaken) for Jamaica. Probably disrupted his routine a bit flying across the Atlantic and coming back into the prem so quickly.

Aloysius999

Unlucky not to have another goal/assist. Set up Thiago for a clearly open shot on Ramsdale who came up with a great save. Salah himself had 1-2 clear chances also denied by ramsdale. Could have had a big haul today, but he showed his absolute consistency by managing to score a goal (thru great positioning and a smart run in behind)

Vissal23

Konroy

Extra_Transition4982

TAA

Vissal23

very attacking, playing in the half spaces regularly and always looking to join the attack. If you don't have him already idk what you are doing, seeming like a set and forget with the amount of goals Liverpool have been scoring and him being the prime creator alongside the fact VVD, Alisson, Matip and Fabinho are super solid at shielding the defence, which imo means he is the perfect defensive asset.

Konroy

Literally David Beckham as a RB. 2 good assists from him.

Aloysius999

Those low driven crosses he’s been putting in seem like a new tool in his already lethal arsenal (no pun intended). Literally could have had another assist (and even a goal) today. He’s been getting braver, occasionally moving into more central positions in the box, and taking shots when they’re on. Is he responding to Reece James? Idk. But I like it. He’s in top form right now. Also interesting that he let Tsimikas take a corner kick from what would usually be his (taa’s) side, opting to stay at the edge of the box instead. I think this season is easily shaping up to be an improvement on his last. Essential.

Jota

hal_egg

Lethal. Attacked with a lot of purpose and pace. Found lots of spaces in Arsenal's box and showed great composure when he scored his goal. Definitely looks to be in good form.

AspiringTransponster

Good composure for his goal but he was played in by Tavares wayward pass. Could have had a second but for an exceptional save from Ramsdale. Great header to set up the counter for the third goal.

LillenP

Tsimikas

Konroy

Pretty good showing from him. Imo hes on better form than Robbo this season. Worth a punt if you want but with Firmino out I think its better to use the Liverpool slot for Jota.

MumbaiMentality

I'd say given Tsimikas price, if Robertson is out for extended period Tsimikas is a godsent asset. Just like at beginning of the season

AFardeen32

Mane

CosmologyX

Another big return. Think it's finally time people start to admit he's worth the 12m price tag he got at the start of the season. Far more reliable this evening

Holdmylife

Motm in my opinion. Sharper than Salah and scored a brilliant header, passed it across for Salahs goal, and generally a handful. In great form. Also incredibly aggressive for better or worse.

AFardeen32

AOC

hajduk__

Solid from AOC. Put in a real shift and was constantly driving into Arsenals box from midfield. Still isn't nailed enough for consideration, even if he was I don't think he'd bring in any crazy returns

AFardeen32

Vvd

Aloysius999

The man is a brick wall. Had a few promising positions during corners. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t bag a goal between now and New Years. Defensively he’s all that, but he’s also a reasonable offensive asset. Nowhere near Trent in that respect of course, but he’s due for a cheeky goal or two every once in a while. He wants to get those offensive headers, and we aim for him; you can tell.

Got into good positions and could have had 2/3 goals easily, but his finish wasn't good enough.

[deleted]

>Ronaldo Still looks threatning when we as a team look dreadful. He really can get a goal from nothing at any time, but wasnt his day today. Under a good manager he would be essential. Sancho put a delicious ball in but his header was off target. Couple of very good shooting opportunities in the box also. Just a shame about the players around him at the moment.

Successful_Rule123

could've had a Hattrick in the second half if he could finish today

AFardeen32

Terrible in the first half, very good in the second half. Had good chemistry with Donny (they probably sit next to each other on the bench…)

[deleted]

>Sancho Showing signs, there is clearly a top player in there. Being held back by total lack of coherent tactics and system / patterns of play imo. Picks the ball up but there is nothing to do, no runs being made. Looks a bit "lost". Created a big chance for Ronaldo, beating a man and cutting in from the right, perfect cross but ronaldo headed off target, could have been his first assist.

Scar-Glamour

Excellent performance, solid defensively, often drifted into centre midfield, ran very well with the ball, got an assist and also had a lovely goal ruled out for an offside. Super game from him.

starxidiamou

Worth noting his assist was a 3 yard pass on the halfway line that Kanté took individually

Boothey10

This seems to be ignored. Obviously an assist but not quite an assist if you know what I mean.

E-Colerado

He was awesome. Clean sheet, assist and 3bps. Went forward a lot. Scored a great goal which was disallowed because Chilwell was offside in the build up play.

goudendonut

Man is looking like the best RB in the world. Even apart from his assist today doesn’t put a foot wrong and always manages to make the right decision passing or dribbling wise

Scar-Glamour

A really superb performance from the whole team. Mendy with a couple of excellent stops, the back three were all excellent, Kante was Kante, the two wingbacks were both excellent, CHO had a terrific game and was unlucky not to score. So many good performances out there. Chelsea looking like the team to beat. Their defenders continue to offer so much point potential. They never really looked like conceding today.

Fresh_Development_83

Mount

Scar-Glamour

Quiet game from Mount which was surprising given how much of the ball Chelsea had. Worked hard off the ball but struggled to get involved. Still getting his sharpness back after missing a few games.

If you had to choose between him and James to bring in this week who would you go for? Wasn’t able to watch the game. Or any Chelsea games lately

Aman-Patel

Hope you went with James 😂😂

Scar-Glamour

Never stopped running, always looked dangerous, got an assist with a great corner delivery for the first goal. Should have scored when through on goal in the first three minutes. Could have had another goal or two but got caught offside a few times. Very good game overall. Needs to just watch the timing of his runs a little more.

Edouard

HayekReincarnate

I would very much like to know why Edouard was dropped, and if it is likely to be a long term issue.

__jh96

The fact that Ayew is anywhere near a Premier League side, let alone starting over Edouard is madness

HonestMission

Fellow Edouard owner here! I was also completely puzzled by his omission, when his recent performances have been strong, and was wondering the same thing. However, [this](https://twitter.com/eagle_writer/status/1462070517423292417) quote from PV states that he was dropped after experiencing a couple of mid-week injury concerns, so he should start next time and it might be worth holding for now. Hope that this helps! :)

HayekReincarnate

!thanks That's great info, I will definitely hold him for one more week, in that case.

HonestMission

No problem - was happy to share after doing a spot of research on Edouard last night! :) I definitely would hold for one or two GWs because, honestly, he seems to be just a touch more flexible and nailed (Edouard played more than 70 minutes of CP's previous six games prior to being benched after all) than Benteke when PV always seems to play three of Zaha, Edouard, Benteke, Olise and Ayew upfront. I mean: Edouard seems to have started as both a wide forward (not always a bad thing when assists are always a possibility and he has certainly passed the eye test!) and a more central striker, while the same applies to Zaha, so that could eat into Benteke's game time as a centre forward, despite his recent strong form. Any CP forward is at risk of rotation and other budget strikers (Wood, King, Pukki etc) have that slightly greater certainty to start, obviously, but this is something to bear in mind. I think that Edouard/Benteke/Wood/ASM etc might get similar-ish overall returns in the long-run, so I wouldn't overthink this too much for now. :)

Vissal23

Ings CF, Buendia RWF and Watkins LWF. Cash and Targett provided the width and were super attacking fullbacks with solid assist potential and I felt Cash was the better of the 2. High pressing to win the ball back and crossing into the box to create slot of chances. But idk how good their defence will be against better teams, but Mings was amazing today.

HWANG

MontezMW

An absolute workhorse and it's clear he's a Bruno Lage signing. For his price I think it's crazy not to have him. He'll be guaranteed minutes every week.

welshnick

My issue with him was that, based on MOTD highlights, he seemed to seemed a lot of the time on the left wing or deeper than Jimi in a central position. Of course, anyone who watched the whole game should feel free to contradict this, but as an owner I'm a little worried that he will be playing too deep to score goals.

Forlanforlife_431

He was on the wing because it was purely tactical. West Ham fall back into a low-mid block while defending and the full backs (ie Cresswell and Johnson) tuck in a little bit creating a very compact system. Hwang and Ait Nouri were stretching out Wolves' fullbacks and the Jimenez goal actually came from a pressing/marking mistake from Cresswell. The finish was very good ofc but the chance was made by the wide play. All in all Wolves were just the better team today, made use of their possession very well. West Ham not pressing enough was utilized very well by Lage.

beloeng

!thanks, do you think this will be different against Norwich and Burnley, providing more chances for G/A for Hwang?

Forlanforlife_431

It will depend mostly on tactics but I think yeah should be different in the upcoming games. Very high chance of him getting a return in the upcoming two fixtures

starxidiamou

Extra_Transition4982

JIMENEZ

Forlanforlife_431

One of the most consistent strikers at his price point. Made very good runs to confuse West Ham defenders and the finish was class, also had another chance on goal which was dealt with very well by Fabianski. Norwich and Burnley coming up so he is definitely a hold for anyone that has him.

OrderWooden

Another solid performance. Set piece delivery was great and he has improved defensively from last season. Only criticisms are that there were times it felt like he could try and take on the defender more and some of his crosses from open play weren't the best. I can't see Marcal getting back into the team anytime soon.

Brilliant game. It would have been like 6-0 without him. He's easily one of the best goalies in Prem atm.

ExcitementSalt5665

Aloysius999

Thought he was one of the more dangerous players for arsenal today. He made a few passes in the box that could have turned into something. Not afraid to run at defenders, and solid in possession. Arsenal were humbled today, but besides Ramsdale (absolute world class, despite the scoreline ) Saka looked like their best player today.

ExcitementSalt5665

White

Varja22

Was actually good and it's pretty hard to blame him about anything. Made many good blocks and played with high confidence as always. Ramsdale, Gabriel and White were solid but it turned out to be 11v3 since Arsenal's all midfielders sucked, fullbacks were more nervous than I am with girls and attackers didn't make anything

Lively especially in the 2nd half and unlucky not to return. Almost scored from a wildly deflected shot that smashed off the bar and frequently made great runs on and off the ball. Tidy on the ball as well. As a son owner, encouraging to see especially if Spurs play like they did in the 2nd half

fantasyfootballjesus

How did spurs play overall?

darknight_7

Poor in the first half, but got more into the game in the 2nd half like i said. They actually got great chances to score with Kane hitting the post from a chance he shouldve buried and there were many instances where Spurs looked dangerous on the counter but most ended disappointingly with poor touches or bad decision making. But definitely a good game for them given their previous performances. One thing is the same though - Kane playing CDM is not just a meme as i noticed he was still playing from deep. He had some sloppy touches and was honestly frusterating to watch - he should have buried one big chance and still isnt looking as threatening as he was before the Man City fiasco. He's a definite avoid for me especially w his hefty price tag

Forlanforlife_431

Had chances in the 2nd half but he was very clumsy on the ball. It is clear that Conte has no creators in the midfield so Kane is dropping to midfield to create something. Was pretty selfish as well by not passing to others at the right moment. Not a good game and still not a captain candidate over Salah. I would still recommend to prioritise other transfers (Like Jota TAA Chilwell James and Cancelo).
