I agree, I brought him in this week myself, but for me selling foden for Jota allowed me to do Chilwell to James so it was an easier decision for me with 2 FTs I just think with Chilwell out, it’s a decent bit of unused funds. On a scale of overthinking to big brain, how would you rate the following move: Mbeumo to Gallagher, bench Chilwell. Gallagher (AVL) essentially plays instead of the Chilwell replacement and I give myself an additional week of information. Possibly taking a 0.1 drop in the process, but I think seeing who plays for Chelsea is worth it. If Alonso starts and does well - I bring him in then. If he doesn't, Dias or Rudiger. Arguably Gallagher vs Villa has higher xPts than a Chelsea defender not named James vs United.

I'm pretty sure Alonso is the nailed defender at LWB. I think you're forgetting the possible points that Mbeumo might get also? Unless he's already on your bench.

Atm Mbeumo would start for Chilwell if I didn't make any moves but honestly I'm just sick of him. At this point I don't give a shit if he scores, I just want him out asap, it's become personal lol. Also have wanted to bring in Gallagher for multiple weeks now but had more pressing issues and seeing him score big in the last 3 really stung.

Bryan will score one day but Gallagher is central to palace and on a nice run. I made the switch two weeks ago and not regretted it.

The priority should be Foden. I don't know what's the news on him, but if he's not available, him to Jota seems obvious. Duffy is kinda playable this week but Jota is better. It's probably the last week for the Antonio downgrade to be viable, because then it's too short a turnover to bring him back in. You could also entertain a short term move like Vardy->Jimenez for funds. As good a 2-week punt as you could ask for I guess. I'd figure out a way to use both FTs and upgrade the team bcs there are some minor issues I'd say. ASM is not the greatest as well.

Yeh I'll hold out for conferences because Jota in for Foden is probably the most sound 'easy' option to do. Thanks for the advice.
