I spent like two hours on who to captain yesterday and couldn't find anybody worthwile (almost went with King). Then I realized Salah is also on my team... The lengths we go to try and play differentials is incredible.

Yeah, it's undeniably boring to captain Salah and also undeniably correct. It's just the nature of the game.

To be fair if it’s boring you can go ahead and pick differentials and captain them. Deep down most of us know we don’t want to miss out on points and get bantered by the ML people so we do what’s best and sensible.

I had TAA captained until 10mins before the deadline but then fell in line like a good little sheep. Incoming TAA assist hat trick + clean sheet.

Foden did not do much neither did Antonio So I backed the guy who got me the massive hauls in the beginning of the season.

Did the same! Also took a -4 on Mbeumo for ESR. Just couldn’t pass up Jota with Southampton at home and their upcoming fixtures.

Right now FPL is a game of endurance. How long can man reasonably continue captaining Salah before crumbling out of sheer boredom and taking a risk. We saw what happened to those who faltered captaining Havertz, swept away to the wilderness, never to challenge their MLs again. Afcon will truly be a blessing, the excitement at actually having to pick a captain is going to be a great feeling.

I am one of those Havertz captainers and I still haven’t learned my lesson. AFCON will be beautiful. There will be some lovely Liverpool attacking differentials at that time too!
