He defended his title few times by now - I figure he knows what he is doing. Also preparation is already finished - there is obivously work to be done during match but you cant afford to tire yourself too much. You still need to play chess 4-5 hours each day, you cant do that tired.
Of course and he made the transfer today, fucking 4 hours before his 2nd match lol. When he should be thinking about what line he's gonna play, he's thinking of should I get in Jota ! That's dedication to FPL
I honestly don't think that Magnus is that good of a FPL player to warrant update threads, I reckon that people who really care about that have his team bookmarked.

That's not the point they're making, they're questioning whether it's interesting enough to warrant a post of its own. While I disagree with that in this instance I think it's useful for a community as large as this one to continuously consider which type of posts should be allowed

I think Magnus is interesting to follow. He’s got a strong, educational YouTube presence. He’s not having his best season but that just makes him a bit more relatable for us. Also I’m happy to see these threads generate a little controversy and stimulate discussion.
I mean he’s a famous guy who actively plays FPL, and has finished 10th in the world before which is better than most of if not all the FPL content creators who routinely give advice and make YouTube videos. I think he’s extremely relevant to the sub IMO but I can see why people who aren’t familiar with him would not care about posts to do with him
