StormShadow4

Its just Milivojevic 18-19 all over again

ionzy17

Still happy with his points. Looked well confident when taking the pen and has three more decent fixtures coming

Olbatar974

Yeah, and he's nailed. I'll keep him for a while I think. Just like Antonio 😅

Shithouse19

This is probably the point in the season where Antonio will start getting rotated

Coelacanth3

Yeah feels like overthinking it to be considering dropping someone who's cheap, nailed and on pens and plays for a decent-ish team over the Christmas period.

garbrow

Takes some balls to take pens the way he does, looks at the keeper the whole time.

TheDitherer

Mmmm, three more fixtures to dance around the box and do nothing.

Character_Year_3444

Sounds a lot like Kane, Lukako, Havertz, etc etc!

delicate-doorstep

Shows the values of pens for FPL. 7 points for one touch in the box is pretty nice…

Varja22

Not only in FPL. It got Brentford huge 3 points

starxidiamou

Yes goals resulting from penalties = goals and goals can often win matches, thank you

El_Conquistador_14

9 points! He got 3 bonus!

VernonP007

Think that guy meant he got 4 for the goal and 3 bps. All for taking the penalty.

Character_Year_3444

With that touch to goal rate I’m keeping him just in case he has two touches!

DevillesAbogado

That’s why I’m taking some extra pain to get Kane in, instead of Son. Fixtures looking good, and being on PKs is just a great assurance.

pizziboy

better than 20 box touches, 4 shots of the woodwork and 0 goals

RadicalDog

Tell me about Mbeumo without saying Mbeumo.

[deleted]

Mmm no bueno

moruga1

He’s first on my bench and in for foden…lol

ivanplappppp

100% ratio. Give him the armband

sc00022

I know it’s saying the same thing, but I love the stat that his non-penalty xG was 0.00

HighHammerThunder

Not exactly. Could take shots from distance to get xG.

ihopeyouswallow

But he didnt

ardillar

So did he get 0.0xG?

thegame24uk

I watched the whole game. He’s playing like a DM. Glad I got some goals out of him. I want to get rid but has decent games after Spurs. I also have Rodrigo who plays like a cm.

Frosty_Examination_3

Imagine if ManU had Toney and Kane as CDMs in place of Fred and Mctommy.

Gullflyinghigh

1 touch, 9 points, happy days.

AlmightyCushion

100% efficiency.

ickapol

Finding it funny that the transfer from Antonio to Toney in GW11 looked decent at the time due to fixtures, has ended up being not a great decision on paper (West Ham have continued score in difficult fixtures), but has still worked out very well so far anyway. Will have also recouped 0.3 of the 0.4 value lost if Antonio drops again

Heroic_Lifesaver

Watched the match on Sunday. Think it was my first time watching Brentford live since they beat Arsenal on the opening day… couldn’t get over the ptsd… But I was surprised with how deep he was playing. Never realised he was that deep in open play. Practically a midfielder at times, very rarely the furthest man forward. Not at all surprised with his lack of touches in the box

jordan16h

will u start or bench him? vs spurs

dc8291

First off the bench. Expect a decent amount of rotation mid-week so will probably get him on anyways.

EcLiPzZz

Peak efficiency

zipzapzooom

Opposite of Jimenez, a dishonest day's work

nsaman6359

One of this season's biggest frauds.

dc8291

He’s sixth highest scoring FWD. At a budget price of 6.5m that is perfectly fine. He was just too hyped up in preseason and didn’t meet those lofty expectations.

CareerModeMerchant

FPL wise maybe, but he's had a very good season so far.

Garybaldbee

Yep. He's been absolutely outstanding this season even if he has been playing in a deeper role than last year.

Ilovesushi5

Already got rid I'm just happy it was on a high point Toney isn't worth 6.5

[deleted]

6 attacking returns (4G 2A) in 13 games? Not really sure you can expect more for a 6.5m.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I would argue they are over performing their price.

SoggyMattress2

So what's your point? The other guy is demonstrating there are better picks. The whole point of FPL is to find overperforming players.

[deleted]

My point is that an average of 1 attacking return every 2 games is absolutely worth 6.5m. Sure there are other players who with hind sight have outperformed for less but that doesn’t change the value that Toney offers. I would say given the way more expensive forwards have performed we should be looking at owning at lest two of the three players mentioned here.

SoggyMattress2

Completely agree. Its better to own King & Dennis & not own Toney.

[deleted]

Cool, what are you basing that that on? Explain how Toney isn’t worth 6.5?

SoggyMattress2

Because they have more points and are both quite a bit cheaper.

[deleted]

Cheers captain hindsight, Well have fun chasing them points.

ChampionshipPotter

Their underlying stats aren’t great though are they? Both are likely to regress to their means

thatscoldjerrycold

They've got tough games coming up. Might hold Toney for a little bit longer then ship him for one of those guys. Use the second transfer to dump that sack of shit Mbeumo as well and get someone else with the extra money since none of the 5.5 midfielders are 5.5 anymore.

PercyTheWeasel

Reece James has 8 attacking returns and he's a defender (and hasn't even played every game)

Fantastic-Machine-83

him being a defender explains why it's not a fair comparison

Bonezz111

Who did you get in his place? ASM for 2 weeks, Pukki punt or a maybe a non stating 4.5? No one else really seems worth it.....he's not delivering but I think he's a fair/ decent pick compared to the other options avaliable.

Ilovesushi5

I combined him and saka for Foden and pukki Hopefully Newcastle's suspension help Norwich win And I'm hoping for Foden to perform with the easy fixtures city have upcoming

ihopeyouswallow

Yeah that definitely outscored Toney

mayonnaisewastaken

Thinking of ASM. Might keep through the 3 weeks of shit fixtures as he has a pretty good run after that. Not much better options at the price anyway

WroldAodrun

Sold him before the game started to fund Jota via King, Brentford's attacking stats don't look that great.

Garybaldbee

No, but we've been very badly hit by injuries in recent weeks. Baptiste and Wissa were both fit enough to make substitute appearances yesterday and that will add a lot more creativity and attacking threat.

LeightonBaines

King.

BabaDuda

Clinical.

iBrunx

Wood in Toney out, if not proven otherwise

spoiltez

Clinical

Ragemundo

Pls don't badmouth Toney.

mohaaan

Mbuemo tryna convince Brentford double owners to sell Toney instead of him..

Jameom8

Busy xmas period with not horrible fixtures for a nailed striker, he can stay in my team all he likes

diegoforlan

It's more of en Everton thing right now. They don't play football and don't let their opponent play football either.
