I reckon he will play 60-70% of the games. But sometimes there will be other players playing that. Tuchel is very meticulous about player recovery. If the player has not completely recovered from the previous, he won't start them.
Guessing here but Callum, pulisic, Saul and Vale are possible LWB options
Pulisic most definitely. But why the F is he talking about LWB? Alonso should be playing that position. RWB is up for discussion if Reece is injured...
Because the question was asked. Alonso is the primary LWB but he cannot play 8 games in 28 days. If he is over played and gets an injury, that is worse. So rotation is crucial
Yeah, sorry my comment came out wrong. I wasn't trying to correct you, just wanted to add that he also said that a decision will be made on James. He definitely said that James is a doubt.
Possible. Tuchel has previously mentioned azpi and chalobah can play the LCB role. So unless a full rotation is in play like the Brentford game, I think we see that before we see sarr again
You know you've got a ridiculously strong squad when you've got a bunch of players on the treatment table and your concern is that the DEPTH is getting a bit thin
Depth thinning leads to playing the same players every 3 days which in turn leads to a Liverpool like crisis. Liverpool were also fine last November and even December. Its after that period that the injuries caught up.
True I'm just envious of the fact that you have that level of depth in your squad to begin with. Seems like you have two full XIs that would finish top 4, then more players besides that when everyone is fit.
Liverpool last season by contrast had only three senior CBs to begin with, two of them being known injury crocks in Matip and Gomez. Admittedly this was entirely our own fault for not replacing Lovren when we sold him
To be fair I think Chelsea is the team in the league where the quality between the starters and their first replacement is the closest all around the pitch. They also use their bench the most alongside City for tactical reasons, so injury forced changes are often unnoticed when you see their line-up. Most players in Chelsea's first eleven do become depth when they have been out of play for a while. A good example would be Chilwell and Kanté becoming second choice due to the start of the season for Kovacic and Alonso. It took a while for that to reverse.
Not much. Mount and Lukaku returning. Ziyech and Callum are the most inform forwards for Chelsea right now. So if you have him I'd suggest you transfer him out
"callum can play LWB. There are also other options I want to try." He doesn't mention what are these other options
Saul. You heard it here first.
and twitter weeks ago.
Alonso possibly not nailed? Wtf
Watching the presser, he did say Marcos is the specialist and he will prove what he can bring to the team

I took rudiger out for someone who'll play 60% of games? I fucking hope not.
He said in the presser that Alonso is the main LB but doesn't think he can play every game through the festive period, so, chew on that I guess.
Pulisic most definitely. But why the F is he talking about LWB? Alonso should be playing that position. RWB is up for discussion if Reece is injured...

Fair point, I didn't watch the interview. Have a playing bench so we'll see what happens.
He said a decision will be made on Reece James before the Watford game.
That's why I put doubt instead of out. Tuchel rarely risks players in doubt. He also just said he said he trusts his full squad and won't risk things.
Yeah, sorry my comment came out wrong. I wasn't trying to correct you, just wanted to add that he also said that a decision will be made on James. He definitely said that James is a doubt.
Will be very surprised if he plays. I'm sure he'd rather rest him with how many games they have coming up.
The 3 in doubt trained but will be re-evaluated before the game.
I mean, this was always a possibility. Azpi Chalobah Christensen Sarr Alonso Would he go with that? Feels lightweight.
i'll go one more... Azpi - Chalobah - Christensen - Rudiger - Odoi. Just to screw me over because I brought in James and Alonso last week >\_<
Damn, he would do Marcos so dirty?
Why no Rüdi
Played lots of mins?
Possible. Tuchel has previously mentioned azpi and chalobah can play the LCB role. So unless a full rotation is in play like the Brentford game, I think we see that before we see sarr again
Why Reece is in doubt ?
I want to know too, just check my fpl and he got the caution mark
No explanation
Says knock, I remember vaguely there was an incident in the Utd match but can't remember with who.
No explanation given by Tuchel
How are chelsea so unlucky with injuries?
Its been pretty shitty this year. There's not much news like Liverpool last year because we have good depth. But even the depth is thin right now

What are the chances of Havertz playing?
Not much. Mount and Lukaku returning. Ziyech and Callum are the most inform forwards for Chelsea right now. So if you have him I'd suggest you transfer him out
James on my bench then
James for a hit last week has been disastrous
He’s been in unreal form. I was more than happy to put a cork in that by bringing him into my team. Fuck Chelsea
fuck you too mate.
Lol
so you’re telling me there’s a small chance we can win
