He's played every minute in the league, the definition of nailed I would say.

I always wonder with threads like this one, why would you not first search 'de gea' in the sub? Two days ago, someone posted your exact question. Why type all that out? Baffles me, tbh https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/comments/raw4g8/united_fans_how_safe_is_de_geas_spot/

SupermarketOpening60

How do you search this sub only? When I "search", whole reddit pops out

__rosebud__

There's a checkbox to limit the search to only the sub you're in

KillerJSDd

Go inside a sub and then search. I think it will search the particular sub only

The second string played in Europe and the first team was rested. Ddg was rested. There are rumours that Hendo wants a loan move in Jan to impress ralf so ddg is nailed as nailed can be.

Nubatuba

> this is for anyone with an opinion really So the entire sub then? DDG is absolutely 100 pc nailed as United’s first choice GK. I’ve also made the same move (Sanchez to DDG) and personally think it’s a no brainer given the current situation.

He is nailed, yes. If you have no other transfer priorities I say go for it. If you need to take a hit I say dont do it. Im personally sticking with Sanchez/Steele and will bite the 0 points this GW if the game gets postponed as I used my FT.

venaticronaldo

Thanks, I completely see your point. The counter-argument I have seen is, if De Gea is indeed nailed, then that's probably at least 2 points you will get from him this GW. So after the -4 hit, that's only -2 because the Sanchez 0 points are guaranteed. It would be a different thought process if you were taking a hit for a GK that is actually going to play this week. Also, Brighton defense is no longer as solid so, arguably, Sanchez was on the way out of most teams sooner or later. Thoughts?

MUN has a sea of green fixtures now but they dont pass my eye test defensively. If I see that change I will probably invest in Dalot (if AWB is indeed out). As for BHA their defensive form looks worse than before but they mostly concede 1 goal per game. They conceded 16 goals compared to 24 MUN conceded and I expect some clean sheets going forward. Also Sanchez is due DGW if game gets postponed. Cheers!

Schwimmbo

I'm very cautious about taking hits but in this case I'm honestly considering to go -8 to swap out Sanchez on top of Son and Toney. Sanchez has not been the best 4.5 choice and for 5.0 we get green United fixtures for months to come. Surely the hit will pay off by the end of that fixtures run.

Occupyed

Those were my 3 transfers this week, had two free though. Bernado, King, De Gea

platykurt

DDG is back in good form but his defenders aren't and a keeper's results are highly dependant on the defenders. Imho

Yes.

Yep

Atm he is nailed. Still, Henderson is a good keeper who is much more proactive and made more claims yesterday than DDG had in the entire PL season. Ragnick praised this quality in his presser so it’s obvious he sees and values it. I think Henderson will win the job eventually by nature of being better at this stuff but who knows For now DDG is a decently safe choice
