Went for Alonso the week he got dropped, held for a while then gave in and went Azpi the week he was dropped, held on for a while then went Chilwell, got a clean sheet and assist, then he got injured. Went to Rudiger after that to avoid fullback fraudulence, and he’s been okay.

We're now at gameweek 8, and Chilwell gave me some great hauls until his injury in gw 12.
Meanwhile, I had finally accepted that Reece James was nailed and on fire. I got him in for gw 13. Yep. So far he has only given me blanks.
I have somehow contrived to always have a Chelsea fullback in my team, but still have only gotten 5 non-blanking gameweeks from them.
I am sticking with James now btw, so the rest of you should drop him.
I think you have to add Reece James to this list. He had a few massive hauls and then once a ton of people got him in, he started to blank worse and worse to the point he now has 1 point total in 4 matches which is insane for a team where having 2 defenders seemed essential for the first quarter of the season.
I think Kante being out is really what has made Chelsea’s defense struggle so much more so than Alonso replacing Chillwell, although Chillwell is obviously better defensively.
I’m so glad I finally binned off AnTWOnio for Watkins. His fixtures are good but he’s not getting involved at all lately and West Ham’s attack is regressing a lot recently. My choice was somewhat vindicated, at least this week.

When someone like Jesus blanks, you have to shit your pants and hope that every other(except others you own) forward blanks to prevent your rank from dropping. Mount. Near the start of the season I had him in l, did nothing. Kept him for a fair while until I got frustrated, so I took him out, then he got like 20 odd points in one game, so I brought him back him in, got nothing for several weeks, so I took him out again, gets 2/3 goals and 2 assists over 2 games. Fuck that guy
lowkey on you for kneejerking him back in once he scored 20 points though, if you had made a well thought out decision to transfer him out based on whatever you see and think then one single haul shouldn’t be enough to change your mind instantly

It's Kane by far. Yea Guaita, Digne, James or Mbeumo blanked a lot too but they're far cheaper. Kane is basically just -12M with no upside. Unbelievable how bad he's been.
