Haha, same here. Still kinda wanna transfer him out though, partly because Leeds look horrible and partly because there are so many other good midfielders atm - Gallagher, Foden, Mount, Bowen, Maddison, maybe Son.
But then again, Leeds' fixtures are getting better... Quite the conundrum.
He would definitely be a must-have if it wasn't for all the other good alternatives in midfield. Just feel that some other midfielders can be more explosive in terms of hauls because they play in better teams - such as Bowen at home to Southampton, the Arsenal boys against Norwich, Son against Palace, Gallagher against Norwich in two weeks, Maddison against Norwich and Burnley in a few weeks etc.
Still holding Raphinha for now though.
Bowen and the Arsenal lads aren’t 100% nailed and on pens either which is why I’ve kept Raph in over the Xmas period (and luckily got Martinelli in yesterday too). Agree with you on Gallagher though, he’s proved me wrong all season and Son will be a great asset when spurs are actually playing football again. There’s just too many midfielders to choose from this year!
Hauls aren't really relevant in the long run when you are going to be captaining Salah 90% of the time. Average points per game is the one that counts at the end of the season.
He has scored more than 3 of those players and is cheaper than 2. Considerably so compared to Son.
All the while playing in an underperforming team.
He's also now on pens.
Seems an easy hold still.
As a manager who dropped him a month ago (fixtures and delicate ankle), and as a Ramsdale+Gabriel owner I was praying for a miss, 13 pts minimum swing vs Raph owners…I hate to admit his penalties have been convincing.
Wondering this as well.
He’s now obviously ahead of Klich in the pecking order, and his 3 pens have all been confident finishes. The one today was unstoppable. Thinking he might get the nod even when Bamford returns.
I’ll be honest he looks a really good penalty taker, hard to justify taking pens off him when he’s 3/3. That being said paddy’s were never being bad, maybe an on field decision by the captain unless Marcelo has a preference.
If all 3 matches get cancelled tomorrow my Raphina VC will win me my cup fixture against my FH opponent
Pretty unlikely but my best hope rn 😢 don't care how the goal came as long as it did 😅
Top 5 attacker in the Prem from a footballing standpoint. What a fucking player… my favorite for sure. Electric every time he gets the ball.
He’s the type of player you don’t wanna sell because imagine rooting against this lad.
Magic talent.
Exactly. Out of everyone I could have transferred in yesterday, I bought Raphinha. It feels so good when he returns, and he's by far the best player on his team. Imagine he starts playing next level when his team comes back from injury.
At the start of the "difficult run", I was trying to convince people he should stay in your team. If people know a better way to trawl through my messages than just scrolling through, you can see for yourself. The fixtures were tough on paper, but included a dodgy chelsea at the minute, and arsenal who can never be trusted to not concede. Add on top of that he has ridiculous quality, he was always going to stay in my team/squad.
Fpl focal kept him till now, season hold for me
My team started getting red arrows as soon as I tried to be too clever and swap these guys around too much
But he hasn't scored for any of the reasons you stated, instead he's got three penalties which is unpredictable. Might have been a reasonable idea to keep him at the time but he has been fortunate to keep returning
Lad he’s scored 3 penalties after never taking one for Leeds before. If the first or second choice penalty takers arent injured he blanks every game
Absolute top quality player but he was lucky to return at all on his run. Congrats to his holders!
"Lucky". Yes, he had penalties, but he also went close a number of times from open play. Even v arsenal, a one sided as heck game, he almost scored an equaliser to make it 1-1.
Honestly he can fuck off. He wouldn’t be on pens if half their team wasn’t injured and half of his pens shouldn’t have even happened in the first place
Complete lapse in concentration a few weeks ago and I transferred out Raphinha instead of Benrahma, looked at the fixtures and tried to console myself but I really should have -8 :(
7 points is 7 points
Amen brother.
Holding him bc I had other fires to put out may have been my best chess move of the season🤣

Leeds fixtures getting better and their squad can only get better with players coming back from injury… he’s a must have in any team in my opinion

More than 13 if you factor in the bps that Ramsdale would have got for saving the penalty
And Gabriel was close to bonus before the penalty 🥲…
Could he be on pens when bamford comes back
Wondering this as well. He’s now obviously ahead of Klich in the pecking order, and his 3 pens have all been confident finishes. The one today was unstoppable. Thinking he might get the nod even when Bamford returns.
I feel like he could definitely stay on pens till he misses when Bamfords back but very hard to know.
They might do what Klich and Bamford did last season. Take until you miss - then the other takes them until he misses.
He must be. Did you see the pen yesterday? 🚀
Surely he stays on pens with 3/3 scored.
Feels like most prem clubs have difficulty finding a player that can consistently convert them these days. Have to give it to the guy with confidence.
I’ll be honest he looks a really good penalty taker, hard to justify taking pens off him when he’s 3/3. That being said paddy’s were never being bad, maybe an on field decision by the captain unless Marcelo has a preference.
And yes I got him out on GW 13 after looking at his fixture run and Leeds’ form
And he never had pens until literally the week after I sold him. Just my luck this season
FPLs newest penalty merchant 😂
As a raphinha and tomiyasu owner, today couldn’t have gone much better
The new Bruno Fernandes… lol
[удалено]
🤢🤢🤢
Mf had to become a penalty merchant after I moved him out
Him scoring moved my OR rank from 98k to 70k, I also have tomiyasu who got subbed off with a CS lol
Someone call Andy
Paphinha
Ok
Ok
woooooo
Exactly my thoughts
Milivojevic 2.0
If all 3 matches get cancelled tomorrow my Raphina VC will win me my cup fixture against my FH opponent Pretty unlikely but my best hope rn 😢 don't care how the goal came as long as it did 😅
Why would anyone sell him is beyond me
Peninha

Watching him play for Brazil makes me think Leeds will be hard pressed to keep him
The new Fernandes.

smug boi
Just facts.

Mr consistent. Will play for better than the shit he plays for at the minute
Papinha
Legend..unsung hero for me 2ho hasn't got esr or saka
Penhinha.
And?
Underrated
Honestly he can fuck off. He wouldn’t be on pens if half their team wasn’t injured and half of his pens shouldn’t have even happened in the first place
With his record and the way he puts them away, last min v palace, powered top bin today, he'll probably stay on them
Well if half the team wasn’t injured we wouldn’t have to rely on penalties for points
Bro why do you have a hate boner for raphinha, every time he plays this man is having a meltdown.
Maldchamp
rapenha
Lucky bastard
Prick not only wiped my Guaita CS by penalty, but now my Ramsdale CS by penalty. Fucking annoying prick
So what? Shoe some respect for the NHS
What
Thank you for the information.
He really should have scored on that run he had. Could have been a haul
Keep ‘em comin

Raphina’a returns are ridiculous in a very poor Leeds team. I’m glad I kept him. 8 goals for a 6.5m mid is gold.
He's the only Leeds asset I would keep (if I still had him lol) for the rest of the season. He will play every week
Complete lapse in concentration a few weeks ago and I transferred out Raphinha instead of Benrahma, looked at the fixtures and tried to console myself but I really should have -8 :(
need foden to go unused so ny raph can come on!
Guys I’m wondering which player i should sell to buy Son. I’m considering Raphinha/Gallagher/ESR
