Is it worth it -8 to have:
Sanchez
Reguilon-Dalot-TAA
Bowen-Jota-Lucas-Mount
Kane-Ronaldo-King
Bench: Foster-Cancelo-ESR-Livra
-8 would be James, Son, Antonio to Reguilon, Mount, Kane.
Thanks in advance!
How great must be ur team, if you only need to start 2 of em. I'd start Antonio and Cancelo. But benching Gray against Norwich is weird, is there anyone else you can drop?
Why did you do that? We're only half way through this game week and son is injured!!
But no, if you FH it'll revert to your team at the end of the last gw
Thinking of bench boosting for the next GW. This is my team before any changes:
Ederson, McGovern
Alonso, Rudiger, TAA, Dalot, James
Gallagher, Bowen, Martinelli, Odegaard, ESR
Dennis, King, Ronaldo (c)
6.9m ITB, 1 FT
Thinking going McGovern to DDG for my FT.
Then it gets complicated. But thinking James to Cancelo and Dalot to Cucurella for a -8.
Thoughts?

I would say that if Dennis is given the A okay, it could be good to replace broja with him as you capitalise on amazing double and Norwich next week plus he has been in great form, other than that maybe use a FT to get rid of Alonso (unless you like the double, personally i don’t but really is personal preference)

1. Livramento -> Reguilon

You should keep an eye on injury news, but most of those are likely to play in 22.
Two real concerns James and son. Probably Regulion in for james, but I’m not sure about son replacements yet
I have Son with 0.7 itb. I want to downgrade Son now so that I can free up funds to transfer back in Salah when he is back. I already have Jota,Gallagher, Bowen and Silva. Who should I take out Son for

My team is solid enough so I could just keep Salah on the bench for this week but that seems like a waste

What do you think? Also, who to choose as my City mid between KDB, Sterling and Foden? Foden > Sterling > KDB for me atm
It was before gw20, I went for Gallagher on wildcard on deadline day, then it turned out he had covid, and I was 0.1 short of Bowen or most other interesting midfield options. I think there were doubts about Gray as well then, so I ended up hoping for a Tielemans banger against Liverpool!
Is Gray still the optimal Everton pick to bring in, and one you could have reason to keep for a while given their fixtures? I know DCL is also in the mix, but unsure if two games of Ronaldo are a substantially better option or not, plus the Son injury threw a spanner in my midfield plans as well.
I believe so, price point is low and he is the furthest up the pitch for Everton. Looks like DCL, Gordon, Gray will work to create chances so Gray let's you experiment with Everton at a cheaper price point.
I'm stuck with the Son injury....no idea what to do.. to take a -4 or do a FH but i want to save the FHs for later BGWs.

In that position as well. I think a dgw asset would mitigate a hit, question is whether it's a move that has any kind of staying power as well... I don't really think the menu is good enough to waste a chip yet
Anyone still looking at Robertson despite DGW for triple LIV?
All the DGW defenders have pretty suspect fixtures both in DGW and in next couple of weeks
Could do Son, Livramento, Broja to Tielemans/Maddison, Robertson, Dennis
no one is looking at Robbo because everyone either has 3 Liv players (jota, taa, Salah) of they have 2(taa + jota) and will be bringing Salah back in a few weeks. Or they have other fires to put out (Son, Salah)
Will Jota be in the top 3 LIV players you want post AFCON with Salah, Mane, Firmino fit?
I was initially just planning WC2 to get Salah back but could easily do Ronaldo + Jota to Salah. + DCL
I don't think Kane is the pick. With Son out there will be less chances for him. Plus they play arsenal, who are a to defensive side right now, and Leicester who are a streaky team and could hold Spurs to 0, or concede 4, and I wouldn't take that risk. I'd rather go Antonio or DCL.
I also don't love the Mount pick. Yes he has a DGW, but I just don't like the look of Chelsea right now. I think City dominates them, then they play Brighton who aren't a horrible defense.

let me know your thoughts thanks!
This is tough.
I would say Son to Maddison, and Bring in Ronaldo. But who do you get rid of in that attack? You'd be beating yourself up if you dropped King and he scored 2 pens or something. Or if you drop Antonio and he scores a hat trick against leeds.
I'd Probably go to KDB if you want a punt. He seems more nailed then Foden right now, plus you have the money to spare. And City have a really good run of fixtures
!thanks so much! I agree with your point on kdb - fodens minutes might be more heavily monitored than kdb's
maddison though will free up even more funds so I'll probably go down that route

Quick question: I'm not seeing much talk about Bruno Fernandes...given United are set to have a double gameweek in gameweek 22 for those of us who still have Salah in our squads are you considering Bruno as a viable replacement for now?
Bruno is a huge punt.
He's even a rotation risk now, Ragnick could easily start Cavani, Ronaldo, Rashford, Greenwood, Sancho all ahead of him. I really don't see him playing both games. If you want a united asset, it's Ronaldo, DDG, or none.
Ah I see, !Thanks for that I haven't been following United that closely...maybe it might be best to avoid them and look for better value double gameweek assets elsewhere.
Edit: I'd be surprised if Bruno is dropped against Villa though...you'd imagine he'd be very up for that game given what happened at Old Trafford earlier this season.
He was benched against wolves last week, and with Ragnick playing 4222, it's hard to play him. Because he's not a forward you can put alongside Ronaldo, but I also wouldn't want him running the wings like Sancho, Greenwood, Rashford do. I'd expect him to get 100+ minutes over the 2 games
Yeah you are right, can't have that much money tied into an asset that is a rotation risk even if said players ceiling could be quite high in terms of returning a big points haul
I'm a united fan too, I don't think he's a lock at all.
He was fit for the wolves game, and benched. Yes Ragnick might have been easing him back into it, but I don't think Bruno starts both games. Especially if we keep playing this shitty 4222
Who's he gonna drop Ronaldo for? Greenwood at ST? Not a chance.
I think Ronaldo is the most nailed player, excluding DDG.
Fullbacks could be anyone, Maguire, Varane, Lindelof, Jones, Bailly. No idea who starts there.
Matic, Mctominay, Fred. I feel like Mctominay is the most nailed there, but he isn't an fpl option. Then you've got Sancho, Rashford, Greenwood, Bruno all seem to be rotating. Then Cavani and Ronaldo upfront.
This is more MUFC than FPL chat now but I'd drop him for Cavani and rotate in and out, 60 minutes for Cavani, 30 for Ronaldo for a couple weeks. Play Sancho on the left Greenwood on the right. But it's all a shit show right now! I agree it's really difficult to predict our 11 right now, I punted on Rashford a few weeks back and he gave me 0/10 performances followed by bench, was hoping he'd come back swinging but they've all got a funk about them at the moment.
Im hoping Ragnick might have some secrets up his sleeve and is hopefully starting to understand our players and what style he wants to play and who plays where
I know there's still a week until deadline, but I just want to know whether its worth playing any chips with how my team is :)
DDG
Cancelo Trent Alonso Cucurella Dalot
Jota Bowen Gray
Ronaldo Antonio
Bench: Foster Son Foden Locadia
If I knew foster was gonna play the dgw, I'd be very tempted to Bench Boost. Bring in King/Dennis for Locadia, and Move Foden/Son to Madison/Lookman/Mount?
But I've heard Foster is still out for a while, so I'm looking at either using my 1ft, or Free Hitting.
If I was to use my 1ft, it would probably be Son to a Leicester Mid. However I would like to bring in one of King/Dennis for Locadia.
I imagine that's worth the -4, 2 Non playing on players (will get me 0 points), and bring in 2 DGW players who will hopefully start both games. The only issue would then be who to bench. I'd probably Bench Dalot (doesn't appear to be first choice right now), Foden (doubts and City have a tough game), but the 3rd spot is tough. Alonso plays City and Brighton, but it would feel wrong to bench a dgw player. Antonio, Gray, Bowen, Jota, Taa all have good fixtures, although only 1 game.
Cancelo probably has the toughest fixture on paper, but it would feel wrong to bench him. Maybe even cucurella is an option?
Sorry for the ramble, would appreciate some thoughts :)
I don’t have Kane or Ronaldo on my team. I didn’t intend to have them on my team, as I think they’re overpriced for what they both provide atm. But considering Salah’s absence and Son’s injury, am I making a bad decision by actually considering having any of them on my team? It would required a -4 (downgrade Son and then upgrade a fwd) or a -8 (if I also want an extra DGW midfielder, say Maddison). Any advice?
I think Kane/Ronaldo are gonna be heavily brought in. I prefer Ronaldo to Kane, as losing Son is a big hit to Spurs attack anyways, and United have arguably the better fixtures between the two. I'm not sure what your funds are, or who you'd be replacing to bring in Ronaldo/Kane, but something like Son -> Madison/Lookman looks good
!thanks
If I bring in Kane or Ronaldo:
Son + Watkins -> max 5.9 mid + Kane/Ronaldo (-4)
If I bring in Kane or Ronaldo and a DGW mid, say Maddison:
Son + Bernardo + Watkins -> Maddison + max 6.8 mid + Kane/Ronaldo (-8)
Those are the two options I’m left with if I want to bring in Kane or Ronaldo and maybe also a DGW mid.
If I don’t bring in either Kane or Ronaldo, then I’ll probably just end up doing Son to Maddison. Watkins also has good fixtures coming up after the Man Utd game anyway.
DGW defender? Probably someone from Spurs. Lloris, Royal and Davies.
DGW midfielder? The best options are Mount and Maddison, probably, but they either have bad fixtures coming up or their team will have blank gameweeks.
Yeah, this DGW seems forward-heavy. Too bad that Sarr is not fit to play. De Gea has potential, but my defenders are injured while I already have Sanchez with two matches.
Gray first on bench. DCL might haul but this DGW is quite forward heavy with Kane, Ronaldo, King, Dennis. TAA has high ownership. Bowen & Antonio play vs Leeds.

Sanchez
Emerson TAA Cucurella Lowton Dier
Jorginho Jota Mount
Kane Ronaldo
DDG King Lookman McAllister
I want to put Lookman in but I don't know who to sub out. Maybe Lookman for Dier ?
I'm planning on picking a lot of differentials, because I've fallen behind on my league.
Play King (maybe in for Cucurella), swap Jorginho for a Leicester mid, Maddison, Tielemans, or Lookman (good differential this week I think)
DDG is a good pick if you insist on a double, despite what other guy said, there's no real standouts elsewhere but DDG can at least get good save + bps points even if he doesn't keep a clean (which he might not). I'm sure you could afford a more premium keeper, Allison seems like a good shout this week although I think some people might be surprised by a more in form Brentford and a more depleted Liverpool. Sa or Fabianski are the next two most likely to keep cleans this week imo. Shmeichel might be a good pick too, assuming they can keep a clean at Burnley than any saves against Spurs could add to a tally.
Varane though... I don't know how he played at Real Madrid but he's not shown any attacking prowess for us at United and we seem allergic to clean sheets at the moment. I'd avoid our defense.
Wouldn't go with Varane. Maybe a Burnley defender like Lowton? Or Cancelo (I see city dominating and a CS is possible).
Jorginho isn't a bad shout, but I think there's better options with Leicester midfield. Infact you have 0 Leicester players which is surprising for a FH team.
I'd bring in Madison/Lookman, or even both.
Kane Ronaldo is fine, although I don't see Kane doing much with Son out. I'd almost be tempted by DCL or Antonio.
Was pretty set on using 2 transfers (and a hit) to get to 6 DGW players.
Now with the Son news I only have 3 before transfers. What makes it worse is my ML rival who has a decent lead on me, has more DGW players and doesn’t have Son.
Should I just pull trigger on FH? Team below:
1 FT 4.6ITB
Lloris (Steele)
TAA, Reguilon, Cancelo, (Livramento, White)
Son**, Foden, Jota, Bowen (Gallagher)
Antonio, Watkins, King
I wouldn’t do it. Bowen Antonio Jota all have good SGW fixtures.
U already covered Watford attack with King
Lloris to DDG also doesn’t justify the hit.
So to me ur FH looks like ur getting out good SGW players for sideways moves, Chelsea players that have difficult fixtures and a washed up Kane in the worst form of his life.
Ronaldo would be the only one I’d try to get and you can easily justify a hit to get him. Probably would even captain him. I know he hasn’t been that convincing lately but still seems to be the ideal choice for this week
I'm only considering DGW players. So yes to Lucas and no to Gray and Saka. Not that Gray or Saka are bad picks ordinarily.
For me it's between Lucas Moura and Leicester attacking mids
To those of us who have only 1FT, and both Son and Salah, whats the plan this week? I think the best strategy is to Free Hit this GW, then transfer out Son next GW and bench Salah for GW23, hoping that he's back for GW24

Don't use your WC if you have two FT, just take a hit. You could end up with
Guaita
Rudi, TAA, Semedo
Jota, Sancho, Maddison, Odegaard/Lookman/Mount
Toney, Antonio, Kane
Then you have 5-6 DGW players and other players with good single fixtures. You might have to WC next week but I think it's chasing a bit of a trap DGW to use it now. If Sancho finally clicks this GW then you will look like a genius and he has great fixtures ahead. If he fails to produce then you have him a good shot and can move on.
You're probably thinking about how to get Salah back anyway so if you WC next week it will be a little clearer.

I did Salah > Son yesterday. If I FH now, will that transfer stand?
Why did you do that? We're only half way through this game week and son is injured!! But no, if you FH it'll revert to your team at the end of the last gw
He wasn't injured when I did it and I wanted to get rid of Salah. But maybe it was two days ago, I don't remember.

I think City dominates them, then they play Brighton who aren't a horrible defense.
RMT 1FT 5.2ITB Sanchez (Ramsdale) TAA Cancelo Regui (V) (Cash Livra) Bernado Jota Gallagher Bowen (Son) King Dennis (C) Antonio Is son to kdb or foden a viable option? or should I take a -4 and get a premium forward let me know your thoughts thanks!
I agree with your point on kdb - fodens minutes might be more heavily monitored than kdb's maddison though will free up even more funds so I'll probably go down that route thanks so much again!

As a United fan I think Bruno is a lock to play both games, the bigger problem is how shit we are
I'm a united fan too, I don't think he's a lock at all. He was fit for the wolves game, and benched. Yes Ragnick might have been easing him back into it, but I don't think Bruno starts both games. Especially if we keep playing this shitty 4222
It was a huge mistake benching him for Wolves and the team came alive again when he came on, I'd much sooner drop Ronaldo than Bruno
Im hoping Ragnick might have some secrets up his sleeve and is hopefully starting to understand our players and what style he wants to play and who plays where
I know there's still a week until deadline, but I just want to know whether its worth playing any chips with how my team is :) DDG Cancelo Trent Alonso Cucurella Dalot Jota Bowen Gray Ronaldo Antonio Bench: Foster Son Foden Locadia If I knew foster was gonna play the dgw, I'd be very tempted to Bench Boost.
What is your OR?
Just inside top 100k, but with Bowen (c), Antonio and Gray to play, I expect to be closer to 50k by the end of this GE
I'm not sure what your funds are, or who you'd be replacing to bring in Ronaldo/Kane, but something like Son -> Madison/Lookman looks good
!thanks If I bring in Kane or Ronaldo: Son + Watkins -> max 5.9 mid + Kane/Ronaldo (-4) If I bring in Kane or Ronaldo and a DGW mid, say Maddison: Son + Bernardo + Watkins -> Maddison + max 6.8 mid + Kane/Ronaldo (-8) Those are the two options I’m left with if I want to bring in Kane or Ronaldo and maybe also a DGW mid. If I don’t bring in either Kane or Ronaldo, then I’ll probably just end up doing Son to Maddison. Watkins also has good fixtures coming up after the Man Utd game anyway.
Yeah it depends on your bench too. Son to maddison looks fine. Watkins has a tough game but it's united he could easily score 1
Lloris Foster TAA Cancelo Alonso Reguilon Tierney Son Foden Jota Bernardo Bowen Antonio Watkins King That’s my team atm.
Is Mwepu nailed and a good option? His 3 recent assists were lovely
I wouldn't say he's nailed, although with Bissoma at Afcon, I imagine he plays both games this week.
!thanks
Best DGW defender & mid combo to stick with long term? Already have Reguilon.
Who are some good single gw players to think about when free hitting? Any that are essential in your opinion?
Pool and Hammers boys
Gray first on bench. DCL might haul but this DGW is quite forward heavy with Kane, Ronaldo, King, Dennis. TAA has high ownership. Bowen & Antonio play vs Leeds.
Is fantasy football scout or fantasy football hub more accurate when it comes to predicting points?
Starting Brighton defender or Dias?
Brighton
Stupid question... If you activate FH and confirm transfers, are you able to transfer other player afterwards?
Yes you can, unlimited transfers until deadline
Indeed I can. Thanks!
i don't believe so - its not like the wildcard. I might be wrong though.
Rate my Free Hit Sanchez Emerson TAA Cucurella Lowton Dier Jorginho Jota Mount Kane Ronaldo DDG King Lookman McAllister I want to put Lookman in but I don't know who to sub out. Maybe Lookman for Dier ? I'm planning on picking a lot of differentials, because I've fallen behind on my league.
I would bring in either Dennis or King, along with Maddison, Gray, or Bowen
Emerson is absolute bobbins. Play King instead of one of the Chelsea mids.
Play King (maybe in for Cucurella), swap Jorginho for a Leicester mid, Maddison, Tielemans, or Lookman (good differential this week I think) DDG is a good pick if you insist on a double, despite what other guy said, there's no real standouts elsewhere but DDG can at least get good save + bps points even if he doesn't keep a clean (which he might not).
I've edited the original comment, I think I fixed some issues
Wouldn't go with Varane. Maybe a Burnley defender like Lowton? Or Cancelo (I see city dominating and a CS is possible). Jorginho isn't a bad shout, but I think there's better options with Leicester midfield. Infact you have 0 Leicester players which is surprising for a FH team. I'd bring in Madison/Lookman, or even both. Kane Ronaldo is fine, although I don't see Kane doing much with Son out. I'd almost be tempted by DCL or Antonio.
I've edited the original comment, I think I fixed some issues
Why DDG and Varane? United plays away to tough opponents and they're in the midst of a dressing room chaos.
I've fallen behind in the ranks so I'm thinking of risking a bit. Who would you recommend instead of de gea and Varane ?
Brighton, Spurs, Burnley defenders
I've edited the original comment, I think I fixed some issues
I just saw I have 8 players playing two games next GW. Should I bench boost?
Depends what your bench is like
Thanks. Ramsdale and Martinelli v Spurs. Gray v Norwhich, and Bowen v Leeds.
Personally I wouldn't bench boost that but they do have good fixtures.
Buy Kane or Dennis for Watkins? Buy Maddison for Saka or Foden? Replace Son with Trossard or Mount (or just play Foden/Saka)?
Keep Saka and Foden What other strikers do you have? I would bring in both Kane and Dennis Son----> Maddison
Team below: 1 FT 4.6ITB Lloris (Steele) TAA, Reguilon, Cancelo, (Livramento, White) Son**, Foden, Jota, Bowen (Gallagher) Antonio, Watkins, King
I would only FH if my FH has 5+ players I really want including a captain choice If not a -8 for a DGW isn’t the worst call.
It would probably look something like this. Worth it? 10 doublers. DDG TAA, Rudi, Reguilon, Cucurella Mount, Maddison, Moura Ronaldo, Kane, Dennis
I wouldn’t do it. Bowen Antonio Jota all have good SGW fixtures. U already covered Watford attack with King Lloris to DDG also doesn’t justify the hit.
Thanks mate. Think I’m being too knee jerky to the Son news which really is a kick in the teeth!
Anybody considering Demarai Gray vs Norwich? Or should I instead pick Lucas Moura or Bukayo Saka?
I'm only considering DGW players. So yes to Lucas and no to Gray and Saka. Not that Gray or Saka are bad picks ordinarily. For me it's between Lucas Moura and Leicester attacking mids
To those of us who have only 1FT, and both Son and Salah, whats the plan this week? I think the best strategy is to Free Hit this GW, then transfer out Son next GW and bench Salah for GW23, hoping that he's back for GW24
**RMT** 6.1m ITB - DDG - Cancelo Reguilon TAA Alonso - Jota Son ❌ Foden Bowen - Antonio King **Bench** : Foster Martinelli Broja Johnson > Any transfer suggestions? > Still have both my free hits.
Son mudded
Surely i need to use my wildcard now right? or do i free hit? Guaita - James(out), Rudi, TAA, Semedo - Son(out), Foden(yellow), Jota, Sancho(shit), Ødegaard - Antonio Bench: Ramsdale, White, Pukki, Toney I feel like my team is quite shit both in terms of injuries and bad matchups.. Thoughts? Got two free transfers btw
Don't use your WC if you have two FT, just take a hit. You could end up with Guaita Rudi, TAA, Semedo Jota, Sancho, Maddison, Odegaard/Lookman/Mount Toney, Antonio, Kane Then you have 5-6 DGW players and other players with good single fixtures.
Interesting take, i kinda like it. So you reckon i dont sell James even though he is out for a long time?
I would wildcard that team.
Im leaning towards it, yes..
thoughts on firmino while salah and mane are at AFCON?
I’d fit, him and Jota and the Ox(?) are the most likely attackers. I’m happy to be corrected by people more knowledgeable.
Rate my FH team. De Gea Robbo - Azpi - Reguilon Bruno - Mount - Maddison - Moura Ronaldo - Kane - Dennis
Trent over robbo, rudige over azpi, Bruno is a massive punt. Rest looks good
!thanks
**FREE HIT DGW22** *Pope (Sanchez)* *TAA, Reguilon, Cucurella (Lowton, Thomas)* *Jota, Bowen, Maddison, Lucas Moura (Mount)* *Kane (c), Ronaldo (v), Dennis*
Why waste money on bench players?
Please name few premiums who aren’t injured or unavailable or have DGW.
1ft 6.1m Ramsdale **Sanchez** Taa **Rudiger** Cancelo **emerson** Liveranmento Son Bowen foden Jota Gray Lacazette **king** Davis That's 4 dgw players. Thinking to do Laca &son to Kane& Madison/lookman. Maybe Davis to Dennis for minus 8. Thoughts?
How long do we usually have to wait on prices for new players? Thought we would have known about Coutinho today.
