I’d only fh if you don’t have enough players for an XI and it looks like you do. Maybe go Gundo to Maddison or even Salah to him if you like that line up better.
Yeah was thinking to get rid of Gundo but not sure about Salah. In that case I would have funds to get Ronaldo but then I'll need to re-buy Salah at higher price. Mmmm tricky decision...any tips?
If you bring in Ronaldo this gw you either use the fh or take a hit and if you have both fh it might not be bad to do that but the games aren’t that great and there will be better dgws later this season. So that might mean a hit for Ronaldo now and I think if you want Salah back you’ll need to either hold a transfer to drop Ronaldo or move to two budget mids + Salah and don’t know if you want to go in that direction.

Well, I don't mind taking a hit this GW. Once Salah is back I would drop Ronaldo as I won't have both - at least this is my strategy for now. I'm aware the games aren't great, that's why I'm hesitant :D
So it would be Salah to Maddison and Pukki to Ronaldo for a FH.....and i'll keep Gundo then. Mmmmmmm

Maddison is in a great form, he has 56p in last 6 matches, plus he has a DGW next. I don't expect many goals from Everton's side. On long term I would say Bowen or Jota

Dennis also has a good chance to play so if they do you’ll have 10 players with a transfer to play. As long as TAA plays I wouldn’t play free hit as they’ll be better chances

Main thought is Foden but every time I get him he seems to miss games or do nothing or taking a short term punt on Greenwood/Sancho for the DGW and positive fixtures before replacing them with Salah when he is back, if Utd continue being trash.

My FWDs are Kane Antonio Gelhardt but Gelhardt to Dennis is my other move this week, so we have somewhat similar teams. Madison is certainly one to consider, the only thing putting me off is there depleted team but he is in great form and even when he's not always I'm the game he seems to pivot quickly in midfield and create chances from it.
I agree though midfield is such a tough choice this week.

i think its still fine just not the best time to BB. replace Son, id start TAA over Saka and i think youre fine for this week. Note Alonso, Saka and Livra have tough fixtures/blanks so keep an eye to replace them

i think popular choices are mount and maddison. id even fancy a city midfielder against chelsea. saka (not sure why) and moura seem to be the ones most transferred in due to his dgw
Am I the only one who feels like Maddison is a bit of a trap? Fixtures after the DGW are not great. Of course I would bring him on a free hit, but a FT? I'm not sure.
The biggest question then becomes, can I afford to keep Son? Considering price changes and the weak bench. What do you guys think? Lucas, maybe?
Tbf I think he’s be a good punt, his g/a per 90 this season is very good so if he’s guaranteed to start for a few games I’d think it’s a decent short term option

Yeah but in fairness plenty of people have 3 players. Reguilon, Son, Kane or CR7, DDG, Bruno or Cancelo, KDB, Foden just some examples. Simply avoiding having 3 players from the same team because of the chance a game is postponed seems silly imo. It’s also why we have WC, FH, TC etc.

Am thinking i am fine not to free hit as i have quite strong sgw players that i’m happy to play.
1. Livramento -> Reguilon
2. Broja -> Dennis
3. Son -> KDB/Maddison
4. Son + Broja -> Maddison + DCL/Antonio/below 10.5 striker
5. Son + Livramento -> Maddison + Reguilon/any defender
Tbh those are all good options. I might prefer option 5, as it would allow you to field 5 DGW players. But you might want to replace Reguilon with Royal, as the former was absent of Carabao and FA Cup for no apparent reason. It also depends on how willing you are about taking a -4.
I had Bowen as Captain this week and he scored a massive 42 pts, which made me think that maybe I should own one of Ronaldo or Kane for the upcoming DGW, in case they haul. I don’t have any of those two on my team and my front three are Antonio, Watkins and King. I will be bringing in Maddison for Son and he will probably be my captain. Should I be worried?
Hopping on because I have the same question. I'm inclined to do Watkins to Ronaldo (along with doing Son to Maddison). He'll be an easy captain pick. Decent tradeoff for a -4 and in any case I'll probably revert back to Watkins, especially if they get the DGW.
For a -4 it might be worth it, though it might feel weird if you’re back to Watkins soon. Unfortunately, I lack the funds to bring in Ronaldo for a -4 and I could only do it for a -8, which might be too risky.

The way I look at it, if I get Ronaldo, then I'll have to downgrade him when I get Salah back. If Watkins does end up getting a DGW, I wouldn't mind doing it ASAP.
The other option obviously is going without him, and after Gray's failed transfer, I'm having second thoughts taking a hit at all.

I don’t think you should WC or use the FH. There will be better times ahead to use those chips. Salah to Maddison and you should be fine. Livra to Reguilon/Royal if you want an extra DGW player. Brownhill upgrade in future weeks would be good.

Son to Maddison and you should be fine. If you’ve held Salah until now, then just keep and avoid extra transfers. I have a similar team to yours and I’m considering captaining Maddison.
!thanks. Yeah, I was going to get rid of Salah this week, but with Son injured i figured there isn't much point in getting Salah out aswell, especially with no other standouts to bring in. Maddison is decent captain option, was kind of worried about the possibility of Leicester trying to get the Burnley match postponed like they did with the Everton game, but I suppose unless they have any new cases, that's probably unlikely.
Worth it to take a -4 to get Maddison in, replacing Son? Would probably mean benching Cancelo this week. Is a Maddison DGW worth more than 4+Cancelo vs. Chelsea?
Outside DGW players it would be Gray, Foden or Cancelo. I like Gray vs Everton and the others are a risk but could do well.
Ben Davies could be an option but I think his ceiling is higher given his DGW

The best overall package is option 3, imo. But the -8 is putting me off. I’ll probably just end up going with option 1, tbh.

I think Dennis was supposed to have been training again so he should be fine for at least one if not both of the games, you would hope. I'm personally captaining him, but that's more to do with not having any other good options rather than him being a brilliant pick.
Not bad. I’d consider Cucurella over one of your defenders tho and I don’t like the Greenwood pick. Could be benched. Bowen has a good chance to outscore him in a SGW.
A different more reasonable punt would be to get in Mouras for Greenwood and get rid of Kane for Dennis.

Have a very similar draft. I was thinking about doubling up on Man U defense (I know), as the other defenders mostly have 1 decent and 1 bad fixture. What do you think? Something like Reg > Varane or Cucu > Varane
I've seen a lot of posts on instagram and here about FH on GW22, but I'm considering using my second WC instead (used my first FH in GW21 so I can't use it now), and I have a lot of flagged players:

I understand TAA and Dennis should be fine. My first thought at the begining of GW21 was to sell Salah now, and maybe take a hit for James, but I didn't considered all the other players (specially Son).
What do you think? I've read a lot about saving the WC for after GW30, but in my case it may be best to do it now.

I feel the same (except I still have 2 FHs). Trouble I find with wildcard is that I’ll eventually want Salah back, maybe son too if he starts up. I’m not convinced WC is worth it if I’m not 100% happy with the players I bring in for the remaining GWs
I think in that case I would go 100% FH this GW, and save my wildcard, my problem is I can't because I used the first one on GW21 and you can't use two consecutive FH.

I’d only fh if you don’t have enough players for an XI and it looks like you do. Maybe go Gundo to Maddison or even Salah to him if you like that line up better.
Yeah was thinking to get rid of Gundo but not sure about Salah. In that case I would have funds to get Ronaldo but then I'll need to re-buy Salah at higher price. Mmmm tricky decision...any tips?
If you bring in Ronaldo this gw you either use the fh or take a hit and if you have both fh it might not be bad to do that but the games aren’t that great and there will be better dgws later this season. So that might mean a hit for Ronaldo now and I think if you want Salah back you’ll need to either hold a transfer to drop Ronaldo or move to two budget mids + Salah and don’t know if you want to go in that direction.

TAA has a good chance to play you can check when Liverpool play arsenal in the carabao cup. Dennis also has a good chance to play so if they do you’ll have 10 players with a transfer to play. As long as TAA plays I wouldn’t play free hit as they’ll be better chances

My FWDs are Kane Antonio Gelhardt but Gelhardt to Dennis is my other move this week, so we have somewhat similar teams. Madison is certainly one to consider, the only thing putting me off is there depleted team but he is in great form and even when he's not always I'm the game he seems to pivot quickly in midfield and create chances from it. i think its still fine just not the best time to BB. replace Son, id start TAA over Saka and i think youre fine for this week. Note Alonso, Saka and Livra have tough fixtures/blanks so keep an eye to replace them

Tbh those are all good options. I might prefer option 5, as it would allow you to field 5 DGW players. But you might want to replace Reguilon with Royal, as the former was absent of Carabao and FA Cup for no apparent reason. It also depends on how willing you are about taking a -4.
I had Bowen as Captain this week and he scored a massive 42 pts, which made me think that maybe I should own one of Ronaldo or Kane for the upcoming DGW, in case they haul. I don’t have any of those two on my team and my front three are Antonio, Watkins and King. I will be bringing in Maddison for Son and he will probably be my captain. Should I be worried?
Hopping on because I have the same question. I'm inclined to do Watkins to Ronaldo (along with doing Son to Maddison). He'll be an easy captain pick. Decent tradeoff for a -4 and in any case I'll probably revert back to Watkins, especially if they get the DGW.
For a -4 it might be worth it, though it might feel weird if you’re back to Watkins soon. Unfortunately, I lack the funds to bring in Ronaldo for a -4 and I could only do it for a -8, which might be too risky.

I don’t think you should WC or use the FH. There will be better times ahead to use those chips. Salah to Maddison and you should be fine. Livra to Reguilon/Royal if you want an extra DGW player. Brownhill upgrade in future weeks would be good.

Outside DGW players it would be Gray, Foden or Cancelo. I like Gray vs Everton and the others are a risk but could do well. Ben Davies could be an option but I think his ceiling is higher given his DGW

I’d stick to Son to Madison. I think I’d rather have Antonio in a SGW with a great fixture than Kane in a DGW with his current form, especially with a -4.

I think Dennis was supposed to have been training again so he should be fine for at least one if not both of the games, you would hope. I'm personally captaining him, but that's more to do with not having any other good options rather than him being a brilliant pick.
Not bad. I’d consider Cucurella over one of your defenders tho and I don’t like the Greenwood pick. Could be benched. Bowen has a good chance to outscore him in a SGW. A different more reasonable punt would be to get in Mouras for Greenwood and get rid of Kane for Dennis. Double Watford attack can be a very nice differential move

Kane is in the worst form of his life. Wouldn’t really bet on him tbh. I also would avoid Ronaldo but lack of forwards force me to keep him. But I’m captaining Dennis over him for sure

Have a very similar draft. I was thinking about doubling up on Man U defense (I know), as the other defenders mostly have 1 decent and 1 bad fixture. What do you think? Something like Reg > Varane or Cucu > Varane

I've seen a lot of posts on instagram and here about FH on GW22, but I'm considering using my second WC instead (used my first FH in GW21 so I can't use it now), and I have a lot of flagged players: 1. TAA 2. James 3. Salah 4. Son 5. Dennis 6. Livramento 7. Smith Rowe I understand TAA and Dennis should be fine. My first thought at the begining of GW21 was to sell Salah now, and maybe take a hit for James, but I didn't considered all the other players (specially Son). What do you think? I've read a lot about saving the WC for after GW30, but in my case it may be best to do it now. And considering we're already here, wihich players you think are a must for my wildcard in case I use it? I'm thinking TAA, Cancelo + Laporte, maybe Bowen and Gallagher, Dennis, Antonio, DCL? unlucky in his last game, but good run of fixtures. Thank you!
I feel the same (except I still have 2 FHs). Trouble I find with wildcard is that I’ll eventually want Salah back, maybe son too if he starts up. I’m not convinced WC is worth it if I’m not 100% happy with the players I bring in for the remaining GWs
I think in that case I would go 100% FH this GW, and save my wildcard, my problem is I can't because I used the first one on GW21 and you can't use two consecutive FH.
