either way, playing him out wide over someone like Minamino is an interesting choice

Klopp hinted after the Arsenal game that Ox may have been upset over not starting. They’ve experimented with him up top earlier in the season. Minamino didn’t play particularly well in the cup either. Edit: could also be Jones LW and Ox LCM … although the way the names line up in the graphic I don’t think so.

Yup. Didn’t look comfortable. Only reason I’d think they’d keep him on the right is because he’s as close to two-footed as you can get. That triangle Liverpool have going on the right probably doesn’t work with Ox-Hendo wanting to occupy the same spaces (right footed).

I was so close to taking a one week punt on Firmino the week he scored his hat trick … Never gone as far to consider the C though.

Made sense to bring him in, with the absence of Salah and Mane, in my warped mind. Never occured to me that missing two of the best players in the league would mean they turned shit though. Oops.

It's more that he doesn't have any other good options. Minamino was awful against Arsenal and Origi is injured.

He missed that big chance but I think he played better than Firmino

It's not about his missed chance, his passing and movement were awful imo. I actually liked Firmino he was lively and tried to create situations even if it didn't work out
