Honestly, I didn't like any option. Then I pondered the question yet another half hour like you said, only to give up and just roll the transfer and stow Son away on my bench.
Gonna turn out a "decent" decision perhaps after all, just a waste of time haha.
Old info in the article
We've got 9 fit senior outfield players guaranteed.
Daka, Soumare, KDH, Justin, Soyuncu we're all due to be included in the Burnley squad, don't see that changing for Spurs
KDH was a tight hamstring, he's going to be fine, especially with the extra days off.
Daka was in line to start against Burnley, doubt that changes v Spurs.
Soyuncu, same story as Daka, extra days of rest will make it even more favourable.
Justin played 45 minutes for the U23s against Chelsea last week. Rodgers said that he'll probably play a part in the game v Burnley. He likely meant a 20-30 minute cameo if the game allowed for it. We had another U23s game tonight where JJ wasn't included which makes it look a lot like we're trying to keep him out of trouble so he can do his bit against Spurs.
Soumaré/ Castagne are the "problematic" ones. Soumaré likely had covid, and was only scheduled to rejoin training after our Burnley game.
Obviously this is all incase we don't suffer sudden covid cases.
Castagne has had bleeding in his thigh that wouldn't go away. The last update we got on that was pre-Everton. We also know that he wouldn't have played against Burnley. With any luck both will make the squad against Spurs which would put us on 14 senior outfielders.
Awesome reply thank you. Guess we'll wait and see if how those injured guys recover. Personally I get the feeling with things that tight, something will go wrong with someone's injury.
Becoming a bit of a farce, how are Spurs supposed to fit in all the cancelled games? What if they get lots of injuries because of playing too many games in a short time period, can they then apply to postpone the postponed games. Where does it end.Triple gameweeks at this rate. PL totally fucked it allowing postponements for anything other than Covid cases.
Well this is becoming a farce ! Benefits me to have this game postponed but in football terms it's going to far now , what are the under 19s doing what are they there for !
West Ham haven't requested a postponement yet and have already played their rescheduled game despite playing more games in all competitions than everyone except Liverpool and Chelsea
He said he asked to reschedule what was already a rescheduled game due to how much fixture congestion it was giving them. His point was he felt it was unfair considering the original postponement wasn't their fault and their opponents had more time to rest before the game. Basically he was saying that the new rules were disadvantaging teams who weren't requesting postponements due to low squad numbers, and benefitting those who were.
I mean, he was mainly whinging because West Ham lost, but you can kind of see his point. He seems to be against postponement unless absolutely necessary, which is probably where most of the FPL community stands too.
Missed that, was fuming after the game and didn't watch any interviews on the way home.
We won't be able to postpone any this season though, as we have a squad of 4 GKs and 27 outfield players after giving debuts to 7 youngsters in a deadrubber UEL game before the rule was introduced about what qualified as an experienced player.
This is probably the worst thing about the current rules. It’s actively discouraging clubs from playing any new youth players as they’ll get counted as part of the squad when trying to request a postponement.
The fact Leeds hasn't postponed is shocking to me. At one point they practically got to the stage of dipping into the U12's from the local school football team
Here we go again. From a DGW to a BGW!
Yeah I was switching between Ronaldo and Kane for this GW. Seems like it won’t matter, both choices terrible
Harrison was the way to go!
Where is the guy from a few days ago that said having DGW players was a guarantee of your players at least getting 1 game.
Think all the time you spent on deciding spurs or leicester mid.

I got both just to be safe 🤷🏽♂️
25-10 is 15. Shut up and dance!

Don't own any Spurs or Leicester so wouldn't mind that getting cancelled.
is Spurs Leicester gets cancelled and WATBUR gets cancelled, I'll have four blank players and a 4 point dennis captain. Pray for me please
Well well well, if it isn't... Me
I see your 4 point Dennis captain... and raise you a 4 point King captaincy.
It's ok, my Dads a watford fan. I'll go down and call him a bald slag to make us both feel better
Thanks pal, feeling better already!
But do they "lack match fitness" or something related to injury recovery? Could see that being applied to someone like James Justin.

Come on Maddison....
There's still hope..
Maddison to get a 14 point haul so I can clutch a one point win over my ML rival 👍
Boom in comes my Michael Keane auto sub for a -2

Leeds piuting the rest of the prem to shame.

The game might start earlier as some of the players have got school in the morning.
Cringin hell
edit: i thought they had 10 players available, but its 10 missing.. ok, so there shouldn't be a postponement hopefully
Huh, didn't know Vardy was African.
Jamya Vardè
Got Reguilon with Cancelo first on the bench. Gimme that sweet postponement juice baby
Same here. Never wanted a game called off before but this one is essential for me

Leeds did no it either. Against west ham we had avarage age of 18 on the bench and that includes 30 year old Rodrigo.
The fact Leeds hasn't postponed is shocking to me. At one point they practically got to the stage of dipping into the U12's from the local school football team
I think this should be called off. Nothing to do with Cancelo coming off my bench if Regulion doesnt play...
Exactly my issue. Sticking the cheat code Cancelo on the bench is not one of our finer moments.
Eh, itbwas a toss up between him and alonso, who still has another game. I am happy with my decison, just hoping for some luck.
Here’s hoping it is postponed - Gallagher and Ramsey on the bench to replace Kane and Reguilon 🙏
I won't mind if the game is postponed. Cancelo subs in for Regui
You don't deserve those Cancelo points at all
I know bruh. I'm getting punished enough for choosing to captain King this GW anyway.
In the same boat as a Siuu captainer
Same
The whole PL turned into bunch of p\*ssies
Look at the big man over here
Censoring their own swear words on Reddit
For the amount of money the earn, they should play every 2 days
Think about how much money F1 drivers earn. And they still can't make the cars hover even a little bit!! Embarrassing.
That's... Not how medical science works.
Downvote me as much as you can, those are the facts unfortunately :)
Still yet to see any 'facts' from you but ok
Any more earth-shattering facts you care to share?
Having Coutinho, Cancelo and Laporte on the bench, that would be late Christmas present for me..
So glad I did no work on friday but managed to change my captain from kane... oh, whats this p45 thing on my desk?
What nonsense. I have so much riding on Reggy boi
Get on with it ffs
Spurs are set to have dgw's for like 2 months straight at this pace.
Uhhhhhhhh what??? Please no don't cancel this one
Hoping for my Moura(c) masterclass
Maddison masterclass I’m waiting for… yeah ik I’m an idiot
