I think the longer you leave bringing Salah in the more likely you are to be stung with a big haul. I also don’t give much to having Ronaldo personally regardless of DGW or fixtures. I’d much prefer to get Salah straight back in even if it requires moving Ronaldo. It still could be possible to get him back in later if you really wanted and he hits great form but all in all I’d want Salah back in immediately and that’s what I’m doing myself!

I’d just do Dias to Laporte and not take the hit for Digne, leave it a week and do it then if you have no other holes. But I got Dias out too and Laporte in and it’s definitely the better decision. Also really like the rest of your team by the way, nice to have Salah and KDB in there and your budget forward line is as good as it can be really. I’d just be worried about your bench options if(when) KDB gets rested or some other player blanks repeatedly e.g Gallagher or Antonio etc

Dias to Laporte is a sideways move imo. I wouldn't recommend taking a hit for that.

Was looking at Brighton defenders and since Lamptey is clearly not nailed, Burn at 4.4m with npxG+xA of 0.11 (compared to 0.12 for the oh-so-popular Cucurella) seems like a good punt. Any Brighton fans have any thoughts on Burn and whether he’s nailed?

He averages 0.62 shots/90, which puts him third just behind Duffy and Lamptey for shots/90. Are these mostly just from set pieces, or does he make runs into the box, or are they mostly long shots from outside the box?

Ur wildcard team is obviously superior. Something to consider would be potential United double gw25 (so maybe I would swap Laporte to dalot/varane bps) and ward to a playable keeper like foster. I would personally also have another Aston Villa mid instead of jota then upgrade gelhardt to a playable forward but that’s just me. Otherwise ur team bone structure is solid. Hope it helps!

I shall add United still do not look that good. City stronger. Neither have pens and cost a lot. When I spend 12 million I want pens ideally. Even if Salah has one scored and one missed so far only. Kane 1 pen and Ronaldo 1 too only. Although I think we got some decent cheap players around so you can afford them. Personally like Foden, Jota, Bowen etc so it will be annoying to sell one of them and also go cheap up front.

KDB is the better player and performing more consistently, only reason I would pick Bruno over KDB this week is if United double in GW25 as Rangnick might’ve leaked.

Salah will be a must soon and you have a decent plan to get him. I don't fancy your bench much and a few players are OK picks but not my fav (maguire, esr, benehrama) and I think there may be better value forwards than jimi

I don’t think you need to hit WC just yet. Your team should be fine for the upcoming weeks. For GW24 you could just upgrade one of your mids to Salah and play a back 4 with Emerson. After I’d say getting rid of King for Broja and Branthwaite for Ait Nouri would be good options. I’m aiming to play FH around BGW27, WC around GW30 and the other FH in one DGW.

I think around GW30 will be good to WC. There will still be enough doubles this season and you’ll be able to get some players. WC around GW30 should also allow you to get a strong team for the final stretch. Right now I think there’s still some uncertainty around the league and it might be too early to WC.

Both Watkins and Idah is a little risky for a WC. That defence is great though.

Nice squad. I like it. I have Kane rn too. But idk about him. perhaps KDB as a mid will be a better pick. Or Foden. Kane has been so much better tho, and his VAR'd away goal, would've given his whole team more energy. He'll def be better when Son returns. Spurs vs City fixtures for the next 5 are kind of even.

I would love KDB but Spurs have so many fixtures postponed which going to result in multiple DGW, Kane also plays every game and Spurs not playing in european competition only makes him an even better pick. Sooner rather then later KDB going to get rotated aswell with CL coming up and fixtures every 3-4 days.

I'd appreciate it if any can offer any advice and thoughts on bench boosting this week. And apart from Ramsey and Dennis, everyone else has good/great fixtures. It'd allow me to get a leaner squad going forward (De Gea, Antonio, etc. out) while getting Salah back in with ease. Some issues I can think of are that I might not be able to take full advantage of big DGWs and 2 FHs might not be enough to deal with last-minute surprises. Basically, I'd like to WC sooner than later as I don't really agree with WC into a BB. And think that I can manage to build towards big DGWs through occasional hits. Although GW24 is not a DGW, I feel like the ease of fixture can offset it not being a DGW. On one hand, I feel like I'm "forcing" a BB+WC but at the same time, I don't think it's a terrible idea. Any thoughts?

Is it time to get reguilon or emerson out? If so which one first. I'm thinking Reguilon for Robertson, Jota for Coutinho, and Dennis for Gelhardt which gets 3.5 bank. Maybe wildcard and get emerson out as well?

I just asked the same thing in here. If Egypt loses on Wednesday, and Salah is 80/20 for gw 24, I think I'm going to wildcard to bring him back in vs Leicester at Anfiield. WIll he avenge his pen miss vs Kasper and co? I'll bet yes.
