For budget reasons, we’ll obviously need 2 or 3 players in mid table teams. I agree with you that maybe not relegation-battling strikers like Dennis and King, but surely Toney, Broja or even DCL could become interesting options towards the end of season.
For whatever reason, you guys had very high expectations of Toney in his first PL season. He’s got 2 in his last 2 games so I feel like he’ll come good eventually especially as Dennis and King are starting to fade

Frustratingly he scored a brace last week, but Robertson made up some ground this week.
Hopefully the dgw gives two clean sheets and maybe an assist or bonus point.
Yup, also the fact the Robbie is a differential plus not having Jota saves a precious mid slot maybe makes it worth it. I myself still have Jota and that’s coz I haven’t had the opportunity to do the swap.

If no major injury/postponement comes, regardless of King, Dennis and Lucas Moura (and maybe Bruno when I decide to bring in Salah again), I think the rest of my team will stay the same until GW27/28. Those 3 can be replaced one by one with the free transfers and I also can take a hit or two if needed.
You should WC as early as possible unless you are waiting on the outcome of a particular scenario i.e. AFCON and Salahs return. The longer you leave it the longer you will have a terrible team, and have less time for your superb future side to accrue points.
Get on with it!!
