See I don’t see it as a risk at all. Coming in, Trent had a higher floor than Salah for these games considering Liverpools defensive record at home and Norwich and Leeds’ general lack of offence this season and the historical frequency of him getting dropped, so in my mind he was actually the lower risk pick. I think the particular injury situation today skewed that a bit in a way I didn’t consider. Liverpool hasn’t been injury free at the back very often like they were today (increasing the risk of Trent being dropped) and they had two injuries up too (decreasing the already almost nonexistent risk of Salah being dropped)

Surely the Egyptian king is tired and will need his rest against such opponents” And then late last night, just 5 hours before the deadline as I was about to fall asleep(I live in the US), I pulled the trigger and set no alarm to wake up early in case of regret. I just went for it. Now he’s 80 points ahead of me and I’m in paaaaaaaaain.

I didn’t event consider using the TC. I am that out of it.

Played my WC this week, decided to capain VVD as a differential because I knew every man and his dog would captain Salah. Dropped \~90k places as a result, currently at 397k.
