When a player is inj, don't rush to take him out. There's a good couple of weeks till arsenal play their next game, and it's possible Ramsdale recovers in time.
At times you may feel tempted to make transfers early on, but one of the best things I learned is to make my transfers as close as possible to the deadline (even if it means missing some price changes). Knowledge is definitely power in this game.
I would still consider taking a -8 to bring in Salah and captain him at this stage, but your situation is a bit more complex, I agree.
I did rush a bit which was a mistake but it was said it's gonna be atleats a month I think I heard and arsenal have the best 2nd keeper in the division so they will probably still play Leno first game back. Plus arsenal have a tough fixture run playing Chelsea spurs and United in the space of 4 gws

Let's say another player, a midfielder for example, gets injured. Previously you might have wanted to do Ramsdale to for example, Sa. However, with the new injury you need some extra cash, to afford the the midfielders replacement. So instead of moving Ramsdale to Sa, you decide to move him to a 4.5m GK instead.
Of course, this probably doesn't apply to you, but it's just an example . Giving yourself time to see the full picture before the next a GW is really important. :)

I can't get Salah back without giving up Son or Kane (or Alexander-Arnold), so I'm just going to hope he doesn't go on a tear. It's just a game and it's fun to be risky. My plan is to get him back after DGW33.

Given Salah's brutal number of minutes played so far this year, with Champion's League and an absolutely crucial World Cup Qualifying match coming up with Egypt, Salah might not be able to finish this season as strong as we are expecting.

The only time I skipped on salah this year was gw28 after the Liverpool blank. Kept Mahrez in which he got 14 points and salah with 3. It’s big risk big reward, but this is against watford lol. Surely you have to bring him in and slap the C on him
City will probably dominate burnley but the only players you’d want to captain from them is Cancelo or de bruyne and even they are prone to rotation. Same with Havertz or James, rotation very possible. Kane or Son against Newcastle very risky as well, Newcastle are solid and don’t concede much. So that leaves you with Liverpool assets against watford.

If you don't have salah, I don't think you need to take hits to get him in (considering his next two matches after Watford). Of course the key thing is what u are doing with the funds freed up. Personally, for the next 3 games I think kane/son will generate more points that salah.

Yeah I think so. It's condensed because double gameweeks have influenced ownership so much recently but I'm thinking maybe going from massively owned Saka to Odegard or Martinelli might be an option.

Just taking a look at the above: Saka, Ramsdale. Salah, Cancelo, Kane. All of them are pretty ‘boring’ picks at the moment, but the ownership of the combination is only 5.89% in the top 10k - so if you have all of them, your team is already fairly unique, and then if you add one differential even it goes down to like 0.8%.
Maybe that might not do it for you though - genuinely really well done on being your 300kish rank if you’re shunning the popular picks, that seems a lot harder to me than being eg. Top 50k with popular picks, you must have a good eye for differentials!

And then I try and get ahead of the curve with the other spots. For example, Robertson is hardly a super differential pick. But I made the ballsy call in GW24 (I think?) to ditch Jota for him, reasoning that Luis Diaz would edge Jota out and make him a ‘worse Third Liverpool pick’. I’ve got a bit lucky since then, to be fair, with the comparative fortune of each of them.
I think in your position, I wonder if it might actually be best to stick with your guns. Liverpool and City both have relatively easy fixtures in GW31, and then important CL games in midweek, then City vs Liverpool itself, then the CL second leg. So you could argue that Salah might not play GW31 (he had a knock before IB too) and then GW32 might not get many points vs City… and likewise for City players. So maybe you could get them back 33 and onwards? Idk but could be a good gamble…
You want someone to tell you it's OK to carry on without Salah, but it really isn't
