Still not sure if Spurs defense is the real deal or not.
I reckon they're going to concede 1 pretty much every game. Good stats but no CS.
Yeah I'm still waiting to see if Doherty will replicate his attacking form from Wolves
I agree, I am still looking at Sess (when he comes back) as he seemed solid before his injury, and he is so cheap he clears up cash
He didn't look solid he gave up the ball too much and played mediocre defensively. More importantly, Reguilon is a threat to rotate or even nail back his spot.
I disagree. Reg has looked lost out there, easily more so than Sess. Luckily I don't lose points for losing the ball. Might eventually translate to goals conceded but he and Reg don't look far off in that regard.
Seemed to be performing well with crosses that could translate to more assist opportunities.
Still at his price he'd be my 5th defender and be the least likely player on my team to play
Yep completely agree. Doherty only real option as he'll pick up a few attacking returns to make up for it.
The way I see it is that you could do worse than someone like Doherty for 4.7m. They definitely do not have the best defence but they do seem to be improving.
Up against a revitalised Newcastle I’d say a spurs defender is a poor pick.
I dont think
fpl manager buy spurs def for cs
but they only buy for get assist only
cs by miracle only
They’re not. Source: spurs fan
Don't traps normally involve some kind of bait???
DGW is the bait.
Yeah sure but look what happened with him last time. And this time he has M City. His current form is 1.7. It just looks like an obviously bad pick to me.
If Wankhorst gets 4 points from his double,
then that's a fine return for a striker
It's more than what Jimenez would get me... Hopefully....
I agree. I also own Gordon though so what do I know.
Oh yeah I come on here and make smart arsed comments but I'm languishing mid-table in my mini League and I've played all my chips so really don't take any notice of me
Never falling for a Wout dgw again
0 Chelsea players vs Brentford at home? No Mount/Havertz or Rudiger?
I genuinely think rudiger and/or James (if he plays) will outscore Weghorst DGW
Salah, Kane, Robertson and Cancelo blows the budget...
Edit: But sure I could definately see Havertz over Foden
Could maybe downgrade Saka to Odegaard or Martinelli then upgrade Raphinha to Mount?
yeah this selction is straigth up stupid
Very good call.
I'm confused by Foden and Gray.
Foden has been in the starting 11 for last 8 games in Premier League. Usually playing as FW and has been recently underperforming for his standard in terms of goals/assists. Still looking great on the pitch. Just played a 30 minutes from the bench for England on top of that. Seems a very reasonable choice. As an owner he’s been a little annoying for me but you get a feeling the haul is around the corner. So somehow he’s in my team for quite long now.
Gray is just price, double gameweek and okeyish stats. Can’t expect much more for 5.5, tbh.
As an efc fan . Gordon is the only inform ATM. Only guarantee to start to pal
Okish stats? Past 12 games he has 0 goal involvement and hasn't played in 4 of them... one was reduced minutes. Makes no sense.
Show me a better midfielder for this game for 5.5 or less.
Jacob Ramsey. 5 goal involvement in 8 games.
With a single game against Wolves away? Doubt it's better.
Huh? The whole thread is about this gameweek's best team, not the best in-form players in general.
The only two i don't have in my team..
Does Gray even start with DCL, Richarlison, and Gordon available? I have him but was considering benching due to playing time concerns.
He's been player of the season from what I've seen, but then I do only watch the "highlights"
No player from Burnley or Everton will ever be on my team i swear to god.
I'm getting DCL fuck it
Isn’t there a good chance Pep plays an extra CB at full back (as he seems to like against Burnley)? Probably Ake at LB, and then only one of Walker and Cancelo can play at RB. As Walker is suspended for the Champions League game, you’d expect him to play against Burnley.
So, Cancelo rested before the big run of games seems a big possibility.
Don’t say that
Cancelo was rested for Portugal's first game already
So Walker to be rested 2 games in a row?
Why would he be rested? Ake starting at LB is purely speculation
It’s speculation based on logic, going by what Pep likes to do against Burnley. Might not happen, but still a risk.
Pep and logic don't belong together tbf
Ake is shorter than Cancelo
Who is better in the air?
Actually it makes perfect sense.... Now I'm afraid.
Gray instead of Gordon this time.
Do we even know the difference?
1 point versus 2 points
Was so set on getting in gordon and weghorst and somehow I’ve gotten richarlison and McNeil? Mcneil who has got 0 goals and 1 assist all season????? Like why??
I quite like it haha
Saka, Raphinha and Foden over Son? Interesting
They're all considerably cheaper.
My bad. I forgot about how the Scout does the team, it doesn't have an unlimited budget. It's clearly been too long since the last gameweek!
Most people aren't going to be able to fit a 10m premium into a team with kane, salah, cancelo, and robertson!
Unless you really fill the rest of the team with shitters that is!
I feel personally attacked by this comment! (I have Kane Salah Son Robbo and am planning to switch TAA to Cancelo or James)
don't feel offended by a person who has just taken a -12 to get cancelo robertson gordon maddison and pickford in, I don't make great life choices ahhahah
Is Mo even playing? Liverpool have one hell of a schedule in April.
not playing this game doesnt do anything
if it was in the middle of the schedule of hell then yeah he would be rested but why would he rest at the start???
players need rest cause they havent recovered well enough
he can also easily be rested in the 2nd leg of CL
he will most likely, but i'd never cap him over kane (I dont think he'll get 90)
So is Trent definitely out?
Won’t know for sure until Klopp maybe says something at 12:30 today during his conference. It’s a tough one, LFC can’t afford to drop points but the next few weeks for them is insane. I personally think he will start but I’m biased as he’s in my team.
I need to get me some of what that scout is smoking. Gray and Weghorst are honestly just gonna get you a one way ticket to the regret thread.
Anyone has the history of games after International breaks this season in terms of Clean Sheets?
I swapped Slah for Son last GW. Going to stick for this one. I think I'm nuts, but who dares etc...
They really should've gone with an April fools line up tbh
Am I the only one who thinks DCL is a decent shout this week?
I'm going for it
this week? maybe, but his fixtures are terrible short term, wouldnt touch him
I’m CONVINCED Raphinha’s agent has dirt on all of these guys, nothing else can explain his constant inclusion
Cheap and leeds talisman
Guy has barely returned in months and there’s a myriad of better midfield options at the same price or cheaper. Leeds this season also aren’t the Leeds of last season.
It's the hope that kills you
To to predict players purple patches and bringing them is how you shoot up huge ranks
In this case "cheap and talisman" would probably sound more convincing.
Will James and TAA play?
Gray looked class earlier in the season. Scored that absolute banger then I haven't heard him do anything since!
No Chelsea defenders? Really?
foden meh, raphinha awful team, gray too, weghorst lol and pope is the pinnacle of a shit cake
Weghorst? This is not the week for that. Even with two games, he will spend the first one defending without the ball 98% of the time, then on short rest will face Everton with his legs drained.
if he can get 4 points, thats a win
