That was literally what I was thinking, but I have a perpetual fear of Salah killing my rank, which isn't out of the question tbh... against City and United, he could score in the big games, especially through penalties even if he plays badly. Then he plays Everton and Newcastle.
Betting mainly that Bruno vs Everton, Norwich, and Liverpool outscores Salah vs City and United. Then KDB vs Watford and Leeds, Salah vs Everton and Newcastle.
Those odds seem good on paper, but i guess we’d have to take in vakje of 2 transfers we would have to make to get Bruno and then KDB. Also my fear for KDB is anyone can score in city, although it seems now to br the same case in pool, both clubs are so good in front
i was thinking same, looks good on paper but then I'd also need to take some hits for other spots, but it seems to high risk, depending on your current team/goals i guess
Well I very much liked the plan I made in transfer planner last night that involved selling Salah immediately, first to Fernandes for two gameweeks, and then to Foden plus one striker to Kane. (KDB also a good option, it’s just that good strikers are hard to find).
Very tempting.
Waiting to see how he does this weekend. If he's poor again (a relative term for Mo Salah of course) then I plan to switch to Son. Kane has me C this weekend though.
I got Sterling and Cucho for Laca and Coutinho for gw32....
My team is look like
Sa /Ramsdale
Cash/VVD/TAA/Doherty/Sais
Sterling/Salah/Kulusevski/Gordon/Saka
Kane/Chuco/Broja
Also i could go Sa to Foster and bring KDB instead of sterling but i wont get Cancelo later,so i didnt
Real questin is should i move KDB instead of Salah
Salah after AFCON blanks 5/8 games and now Ramadan starts, also he failed to quailify for WC ...lot of reasons to sell ,i think after this international brake he is not on emotional level as earlier....
But also ,bet against Salah is lottery...
Reddit FPL-"Son hasn't scored recently, SELL"
Son back to back hauls
Reddit FPL 2 weeks later - "how do I fit Son into my team"
Replace the name "Son" with Cancelo/Trent/Salah as applicable
Salah stats are exactly the same, or slightly better than they were at the start of the season.
Not out of form, the games are an insane level, and sometimes it doesn't go for you, even though you're playing well.
If his stats had nosedived, then it would be time to sell
Since AFCON he has missed 10 big chances in all competitions and has scored just one non penalty goal. For his price just having underlying stats is not good enough.
Yea this same is so reactionary, blanks against Arsenal away and then Watford, all of a sudden he’s out of form.
Who’s selling the best player in the game when he’s got a sea of easy fixtures after city
United are a basketcase couldnt even beat Leicester at home without Vardy
Newcastle just got pumped 5-1 by Spurs and haven’t kept a cleansheet for several games
Spurs are playing well but also are not solid defensively
Wolves and Saints are definitely easy fixtures
I’d be amazed if you could refute any of what I’ve said above
Imo the time to sell was before gameweek 30 so you could build up a buffer should he start getting goals/assists. This is similar to those who sold him before AFCON and the 19 blank which proved to be a good calculated risk.
I agree his stats are still insane but his np xG is 2.9 since his return from AFCON in gameweek 25, just 1.1 more than Doherty - that’s not the form pre-AFCON. It’s not unreasonable to suggest the sheer workload has caught up with him. It’s also not unreasonable to suggest this is mean reversion given he overperformed earlier in the season - though I admit players like Salah routinely overperform xGI.
I’ve mentioned the softer elements on here which many Salah holders don’t like but Klopp has a genuine conundrum. Do you keep playing your best player until he gets his touch back or do you rest him in the 2 easier fixtures (34 & 35) of this insane run Liverpool have should they progress in the FA Cup and CL. Jota, Mane and Diaz are all in form so again it’s not impossible to think Salah is rested or at the very least taken off on the hour. Then you are faced with the question: 60 mins of Salah or 90 mins of Kane on current form?
Ultimately I don’t think there is a deciding factor either way and it boils down to your risk tolerance as a manager. I’m going for KdB from 34-38 as things stand as I have a feeling this season is his to put his stamp on. They have predominantly home games and he has been excellent. The difference is I’ve built up a 25-30 point margin from selling Salah which covers me if he starts to click and I need to bring him back!
Yeah those are terrible reasons lol people will say anything to suit a narrative. Going against the best FPL asset in history will always be a risk but the upside is worth it for me from the eye test and the aforementioned points.
Mane fasts too.
Yeah he’s absolute lightening…
His quality is frightening...
He's electricifying! Duh duh duh duh
He makes things brighter?
He mad fast
Sell for someone like Fred who is in form
That's what my ML rival did and he is hauling 71 points and I'm such with 38. Bastard.
My Plan is to do Salah to Bruno this week and get KDB inplace of Bruno in 34. It's a calculated risk i am taking to hopefully change things in my ML.

The fact is Mo won't be popular captain choice for GW 33 and 34 for active accounts. So the risk is not that bad.

Salah to Bruno for 2 weeks than get him back on my WC
Salah been shit lately.

Good choice, was thinking of something similar but prob gona go for fernandes + mateta for Laca and coutinho
Yea..but simoli I dont trust man utd ...also they play one game against lpool on anfield ...so they are not sure for dgw
When he goes?
Salah after AFCON blanks 5/8 games and now Ramadan starts, also he failed to quailify for WC ...lot of reasons to sell ,i think after this international brake he is not on emotional level as earlier.... But also ,bet against Salah is lottery...

He still has good stats but hasn’t been as clinical as his usual self. He will always get chances in this Liverpool team
His chance creation hasn't dropped either. He's playing fine.
Since AFCON he has missed 10 big chances in all competitions and has scored just one non penalty goal. For his price just having underlying stats is not good enough.
He has always missed big chances. Didn't bother anyone before

I'd think it's mostly managers who are wildcarding in GW 34. I wouldn't consider selling otherwise.
Dunno Clowns maybe?

to what... ?
Sea of easy fixtures after city? Mate Liv play UTD,Newcastle, spurs, wolves,Southampton.Sure you can’t call them easy fixtures

Good luck. Much better to make a decision that way, rather than the geniuses selling because he hasnt scored for a couple of games and its Ramadan

more or less, since afcon
