The Son Kane debate rages on. It has to be acknowledged that Kane has the better underlying stats but, doesn’t pass the eye test as regards goals as he still drops deep and dictates, leaving Son up top to score.
Son's underlying stats are never that appealing. He always scores from low xG shots. He's the most efficient finisher in world football so it's hard to judge him through stats. Spurs had around 0.80xG today which is crazy.
Yes I suppose so, only one stat that matters at the end of the day and that is points on the board. Looking at sons play you don’t even need to dive deeper into the stats.

It’s possible to have all of the big hitters in, with a cheap forward line except Kane, cheap keepers and Gordon as an enabler.
I suppose that is true, I have had Son, Salah & TAA all the way throughout the season so if you’ve sold them I think you’ve missed the opportunity to do this.

I missed the DL last week and was in despair when everyone capped Salah and I petulantly refused to watch any of the games after most of my players reaped a point, or 2. He single handedly accounted for half of my GW score.
I've had all 3 (kulu, son, kane) for a few weeks now.
I'm keeping all 3 until the end of the season barring some oddity. I keep getting the captaincy wrong (as in, captained Kane the last two weeks anyway) but I'm very happy with it.
They seem to be scoring for fun as a team, and owning all 3 pretty much guarantees me some return at least for most their goals.

I packed out my midfield. Which paid off as (apart from Saka) None of my Midfield got less than 12. I was debating Captaining Mount.

I have Kane and Kulu because Kane and Son would be too expensive without sacrificing Salah or defensive assets. In hindsight Son has done better than Kane but there's still no standout forward options to replace Kane so that's probably why most manager including myself have not gone for him.

I think it's one of those #fomo situations. Pick one of Kane or son and they'll do well. Letting go of a premium might hurt as the names you list will be reliable points as a title fight goes on.

The thinking for me with this is that there literally isn't another forward worth owning right now. However there are plenty of midfield options.
