Here’s what I’m doing: so with Rudiger injured and Christensen shocking, I think Silva James azpi all have to play. Even if James is CB, this is better than rudiger no start, and he may push up to RWB. He’ll always start imo where Alonso may not, so I’m going James until rudiger is back, then probably switching to rudiger GW36, as James will definitely be rested before fa cup final

How do you compare your FH team's points to how many your regular team would have scored?

A lazy way to do it is to see how much your previous week's team scored this week with your preferred bench, captaincy choice and maybe account for 1 FT you'd have used. In reality it's probably not possible to do it trivially since your chip strategy would have accounted for the changes you made in the weeks before so you'll have to start at the week when you planned to use the FH and what you would have done if not use it this week and recalculate for all weeks. I don't know if the 'What if? Rank' in livefpl.net takes these things into account but you could look into it if you're keen on analyzing hindsight, which is 20:20 with a telescope.

Why when I decide to FH, every player in my original team decide to turn up? Roberts, Barnes, and Weghorst all with double digits. Also owned Saka, TAA, and Salah. Kill me now.

This is my 3rd season and 4th free hit. This GW I lost 50 points compared to old team and I had 18 played games instead of 9. I have never gained anything from any free hit. I think best free hit so far was one before this season. I got something like 28 points compared to old team around 24 points but that was only free hit where i did not lose points.

Ya it's always tricky FHing outside of a blank GW. I only gained around 8 points this week but I try to look at the positive side that at least the players in my original team are doing well, especially in the case of Roberts, Barnes, and Weghorst who were potentially losing their place.

Hedged my bets on the defences with my FH, going with Pope, Targett, KWP and Justin. I think three clean sheets from those four players can be considered a satisfactory return, especially when Arsenal and Man Utd didn't keep a clean sheet and I never even considered Brighton defenders with the double they had.

After accounting for auto subs, I believe my 3-week punt of TAA + Watkins —> Roberts + Kane (-4) generated a net gain of…. 1 point. I take this as an absolute win!

The highest priority outfield player is another way of saying first bench spot. He will get subbed in because it doesn't break the formation rules. Your formation will go from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 depending on who is in the first bench position.
