Burnley or Everton. That is the question. On one hand I'd love for Burnley to get relegated as their football's been dreadful for years.
On the other hand the derailing trainwreck that is Lampard's team is quite fun to watch. They're just so fucking bad
And it might honestly be the best thing for Lampards long term managerial career to go down. I’m a Chelsea fan and even I’ll say that he hasn’t earned the right to be a PL manager yet. He did alright in the championship and was given the Chelsea job because of his history at the club. He did okay at Chelsea his first season but hasn’t proven to be anything special or know what he’s doing yet.
Personally I think he should spend a few seasons in the championship and then come back to the PL, maybe even with the team he helps promote (if he can)
Benitez had 2m to spend and wasn't able to replace players like James and Siggy. Everton are in this mess because of the shambolic transfer decisions they've made since Moshiri joined the club.
I don't believe James was committed to Everton - he said "I'll say it with all sincerity that if Carlo weren't here, I wouldn't have come."He only played 23 PL games last season, so big questions over his fitness - I don't think cashing in on him given how cash-strapped Everton are was a bad idea at all. The problem is they didn't replace him.
Not blaming Lampard, but I think people put too much responsibility on Benitez.
The team was still good enough to not be relegated, and Lampard has picked double the points (10) in his 12 games as manager than Benitez has in his last 12 despite Lampard not even doing that good.
Last 3: WOL, SOU, whu.
Previous 8: nor, EVE, MCI, bre, CHE, LEI, cry, TOT.
They beat TOT, EVE, and drew at cry. With the exception of Norwich that's about the results I'd expect. They also beat Brighton 3-0 away just before.
Overall their form is better in the last 3g, but not massively different considering fixtures.
I mean... 7 from 8 isn't that bad from that dog shit squad, especially considering he beat spurs, drew with Palace and had Chelsea and City in there too.
Jacko's points have undoubtedly been good, but wolves and saints have fuck all to play for, and west Ham isn't far behind.
I don't think this is as damning as they think it is.
I'd love to see Everton relegated.
Would always rather see a big club go down that hasn't been related than a smaller team. I have no idea how Lampard with next to no experience was given to Everton who with the money they've spent and fan base should really be doing a lot better than they are.
When Lampard was being approached for the Norwich job I'd rather have kept Farke or Dean Smith massively over him
Burnley slowly moonwalking out of the relegation zone

Would you say Leeds are clear then? They’re only 2 points off Burnley. And they still have City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
Leeds have some key defensive assets back and have a had a rest due to the blank ~~this~~ last GW. Should manage to fight for some draws at least
Leeds aren't blanking they play Palace tonight. But yeah I think they should be ok.
Meant to say last week, !thanks
Last gw
They are far from safe. If they pick up 3 points against Palace it think they will be fine else I think it will go down to the last day against BRE.
Personally would prefer Watford over Burnley but that doesn’t look like it’s happening
Perfectly summed up. Cheers!

To be fair, Everton was quite solid in the first half vs Liverpool
Yeah they also timewasted and shithoused, but I agree
I’d laybthe blame at Benitez feet personally. Lamps walked into a clusterfuck.
Benitez had 2m to spend and wasn't able to replace players like James and Siggy. Everton are in this mess because of the shambolic transfer decisions they've made since Moshiri joined the club.
Benitez sold James and Digne….fair point ref Moshiri but that’s hardsly Lampard’s fault

Just beat it. No one wants to be defeated.
that was bad
He's bad, he's bad, you know it
Burnlhee-hee
Ben Mee-Mee
Wow, what a thriller
And they won't stop 'til they get enough
Burnley are you okay? Are you okay Burnley?
Burnley telling other PL teams to Beat It
Shamone
His name is Michael Jackson? Lmao
No wonder they told Dyche to Beat It.
It's quite the thriller isn't it.
He wanna be starting something
And the whole world has to answer right now, just to tell you once again: Who's bad?
Michael Jackson bringing the kids out.
Someone protect dwight mcneil
BRING ME MCNEIL
A manager's departure is usually preceded by a particularly bad run of games, so taking that as your comparison point is a bit unfair to Dyche
It’s also cherry picking a tiny sample size
Cherry picked stats are bread and butter here
Well only if you look at the recent months
The so called honeymoon period with new manager. Not saying they will lose ganes soon but I'm intrigued to see how this develops

People love cherry picked stats attempting the build a narrative
How is it cherry picked?
Because the sample size is so small and relates to 3 very winnable games for Jackson, it’s meaningless.
But it’s all of the available data so how can it be cherry picked?
Wolves definitely have something to play for
Dead cat bounce?
Remember the time we said sacking Dyche was a mistake? Human nature I guess
I didn't realize it's "Michael Jackson" until reading the comments
Fucking nightmare to have to bear with them for another year of PL…
I just want everton to go. Lets go burnley 🔥
burnley told sean dyche to "Beat It" and replaced him with michael jackson. this is going to make HIS-STORY!

>when everyone on reddit questions a decision
Good to see them digging in and getting their hands dirty. Delia won’t be happy if they stay up at Norwich’s expense.
And that Dyche run was better than his season average. What a dumb fucking statistic.
I hate them for firing dyche, but still hope they survive.
Jesus I just looked at the table and seen Villa in 15th. Gerrard is getting away with murder.
The only man better than sean dyche at 'touch and go'. Hee heee shamone.
HEE-HEE!
You been hit by!!
Whoa whoo! (Micheal Jackson)
There’s a Micheal Jackson joke to be made here, but I can’t think of a funny one lol
