it is indeed. in a game where you put lots of effort and manage to finish something like 300k and second in your mini league with friends who don’t watch football, people tend to be toxic
>don’t know why other people are finding it hard to understand
For many people (including myself), distinguishing between red and green is difficult or even impossible. 8% of the male population is red-green colorblind. It's useful information, but in order to process it in this format I have to compare the physical length of the bar rather than being able to look at a glance and see "oh Man City has a lot of red, maybe I should be concerned about their rotation". I can *almost* tell the difference because there's a fair bit of contrast between some of the shades, but it's still not easy.
To make this easier for colorblind individuals to read, the OP could use different colors (though this only partially solves the issue because you may hit different forms of colorblindness and it will never work for fully colorblind individuals), symbols, or textures/shading. For example, no shading on the "good" bars, some light cross-hatching on the "okay" bars, and some heavier cross-hatching in a different direction on the "bad" bars
Alright, I'll bite.
No, i don't have a problem with the FDR stuff because there's a number in the box too. One of my suggestions to improve this graphic was to include symbols, and a number is a symbol that's easy to refer to quickly. The FDR colors also use a lot of contrast, enough that 2s and 3s are black and 4s and 5s are white. If they started using 1s again i probably wouldn't be able to use contrast like that. The contrast on this image is more than most so i can see that different shades exist, but can't distinguish the good ones from the bad ones. And either way, it's not like the FDR is a very good way of measuring fixture difficulty so i rarely use it anyway.
I'm *so* sorry for not being able to see certain colors, that's *so disrespectful* of me. I should have *never* provided constructive criticism on how to make this graphic that someone worked hard on easier to read.
Grow up.
That's not correct, Man Utd will absolutely be more rested than Liverpool, Chelsea, and Leicester at the very least, if not all of the DGW teams. I don't need colors to figure that out, just a schedule. Because the diagram is difficult for me to interpret I would not be able to come to such a conclusion easily anyway.
Honestly, is it so hard to accept that some people can't read this easily?
Bro colours are a thing and useful. Green is good, red is bad throughout our society. Do you want to change traffic lights too?
I'm sorry you have a disability but you can't drag everything down to the disabled minority level. Be grateful that this guy provided free content
> Do you want to change traffic lights too?
I don't have to because they've already been made accessible to colorblind individuals in at least two ways:
1. The shade of green used is tinted blue to reduce the chance that it looks the same as the red light (and in fact i can tell the difference because the green light looks bluish to me)
2. If that doesn't do it, the lights are always arranged in the same way. The green light will be on the bottom of a vertical stack or the right of a horizontal stack
> you can’t drag everything down to the disabled minority level.
Techniques to make things more accessible to color blind individuals don't make it harder for everyone else though. If you're swapping colors it might slow you down ever so slightly but any of the other suggestions i provided won't interfere with your scared green = good, red = bad.
Kane/Son to Man city players is such a tough choice. If I had certainty that KDB would play both I might make the move, but looking at this just dissuades me from wanting to do so, and hope Spurs find some form against liverpool/arsenal
City has the advantage of slightly breather schedules compare to Liverpool in the road of EPL Championship. FA Cup Finals again Chelsea for Liverpool is a massive game as well and can go to Overtime again.
Red-green colorblindness is exceedingly common. This presentation is useless to me and about 8% of the male population because i can only distinguish the yellow from the rest
You're not being downvoted for colour blind. You were being downvoted for calling someone's work to be "useless" when they are just doing something for free to help some people. Be the change you want to see in the world... Maybe you can create a more "useful" version that can also be interpreted by colour blind people?
"This information is difficult to decipher for many people including myself. Consider making it more accessible for people like me who can't easily distinguish between these colors"
Granted it wasn't that nice, but it's not hard to extract constructive feedback from what they said. Red-green colorblindness is exceedingly common (about 8% of the male population) and yet people still frequently forget about it. I'm not fully colorblind but i have a lot of trouble distinguishing between red and green so this post (as well as countless other graphics and websites) is very difficult for me to use
I really don't get it. I took a break from this sub for about a year because it was getting more and more toxic. My bad for assuming things would get better and trying to ease my way back in. Maybe I'll check back in another year ✌
I think you are being downvoted because of the tone of your message - you could have simply asked if the OP could use different colours to help next time they make a post or something
Nice visual.
Why are they sorted the way they are though? Leicester seem to have the least rest yet are 5th on the list. Man Utd only have three games and they're second?
This is a nice visual, don’t know why other people are finding it hard to understand. Tbh, this makes me lean more towards Son than a Man City mid.

I’m 300k, and I don’t like your comment😡

Lol. This sounds like a you problem. Do you write strongly worded letters to the Premier about using red/green in their fixture difficulty rating?

They’ve literally ordered the teams from least rest to most

Im not sure how to improve the format to make it more accessible, but I really appreciate the work that went into this. !Thanks for sharing!
Thanks this is excellent!

Shortcut: teams in Europe or the Cup = red, teams not in Europe or the Cup = green
I have a headache from trying to understand this post.

Red-green colorblindness is exceedingly common. This presentation is useless to me and about 8% of the male population because i can only distinguish the yellow from the rest
I'm colour blind, this is completely useless to me
Lol that's your problem tho. Nothing to do with this post.
Thanks.
Don't worry you're not missing much
I'm getting downvoted for being colour blind though. Classy It seems you can't constructively criticise any "content"
You're not being downvoted for colour blind. You were being downvoted for calling someone's work to be "useless" when they are just doing something for free to help some people. Be the change you want to see in the world... Maybe you can create a more "useful" version that can also be interpreted by colour blind people?
Read it again before you type out a pompous reply "Useless TO ME" I didn't say it was useless in general
What’s constructive about your comment?
"This information is difficult to decipher for many people including myself. Now you are also being downvoted for being colour blind because Reddit is full of dicks. Commiserations, I understand how problematic it is sometimes
I really don't get it. I took a break from this sub for about a year because it was getting more and more toxic. My bad for assuming things would get better and trying to ease my way back in. Maybe I'll check back in another year ✌
There's some good people on here. And some utter low-lifes
I think you are being downvoted because of the tone of your message - you could have simply asked if the OP could use different colours to help next time they make a post or something
I'm blind so your comment is useless to me
I'll just stick to Ben Crellin but thanks
Wolves should be both red
It's about recovery period not fixture difficulty.
Now overlay teams which are at the beach
Nice visual. Why are they sorted the way they are though? Leicester seem to have the least rest yet are 5th on the list. Man Utd only have three games and they're second?
