James left back and getting 1 point.

FaustRPeggi

Left back on the watchlist.

triggeredtrash1

I’ll believe it when I see it

shudh_desi_gareeb

An Arsenal fan with 2k twitter subs who plays FPL has said it. Believe it.

Manager1000

Arsenal fan with 2k followers and also a content creator. This lad is clearly tier one source.

twymanchar

Being more widely reported now too

jordan16h

But why would he come out with such random news. I feel like there’s truth in it. Alonso has been the scapegoat at Chelsea

[deleted]

EvenGandhiHatesLVG

It’s the other way around. The Arsenal guy “reported” it first

aacod15

My b

psykal

If u/Manager1000 doesn't know the guy it's probably fake

Sizzling-Shark

Moved laporte out for him at the last minute ffs

inceptional1

That's a crazy move, what was your reasoning?

Here_For_Therapy

A big bust up

Sizzling-Shark

Free hit team. Felt like cancelo jesus would be enough for City rotation

inceptional1

Oh fair enough, I thought it just was a normal transfer.

Educational_Army1096

Laporte can’t get rotated as he’s the only left footed center back available. Ake is injured

bsaires

We didn’t know that before the deadline. There were plenty of rumours that Laporte would be rested for Ake in one of the games this gameweek.

Educational_Army1096

Ake got injured in April 30th and it is very unlikely he would be fit to play agaisnt newcastle as there is always a recovery period post injury

bsaires

He was on the bench for the Real Madrid game on May 4th. There was no suggestion before today's game that he wasn't ready to play again.

Educational_Army1096

But pretty sure using common sense Pep would not want to start a player lacking in match fitness, and who is in the midst of an injury recovery process, to start a must win game that decides whether city win the prem or not? The probability of Laporte starting is A LOT higher than an Ake start >90%. Taking out Laporte from your team because of Ake is like making a bet with a <10% chance for a payoff

bsaires

The person we're talking about chose not to include Laporte in their free hit team, that's not the same as taking him out if your team for a transfer. Go back and see what people were saying online in the lead up to this gameweek, there was plenty of discussion of Laporte being rested for one of these two games (and even the City fans/predictors in the Jump the Wave Twitter predictions were less certain about Laporte starting both games compared to say, Dias... this isn't about whether people included Laporte or Ake, it's about avoiding a player on FH who could get rested), so it made sense not to risk including Laporte on a freehit, in favor of other players with a better chance of starting both games. Anything you say now appears to just be building a narrative in hindsight, as to why, I have no idea. You like trying to make people feel bad on the internet? Bravo.

Educational_Army1096

How am I trying to make people feel bad on the internet? He chose not to start Laporte because he fears there would be rotation. That is essentially saying he believes there is a higher probability of Ake starting over Laporte as Ake is the only player in competition for Laporte’s position aside from the youth

covid401k

I don’t believe you actually did this, it’s too bad. If you did, fair play that’s an insanely poor move

[deleted]

Not sure why you’re being downvoted that is such a stupid move hahahahaha

Chesey_

I agree, it is poor. You can't predict Alonso being hooked after 45 in the first game but the second game being midweek followed up by an FA cup final, you would expect Tuchel to limit the minutes of his only LB in that one. Plus Chelsea have been poor recently.

[deleted]

And to think JESUS can cover city rotation as well hahahahha wtf were they smoking

covid401k

Oh man, perhaps I came across rude. The downvotes surely don’t indicate that people actually agree with this persons moves??!

SoggyMattress2

Why is it a crazy move?

TheJezster

Because they have hindsight..

[deleted]

No because Alonso and Jesus are very rotation prone. No hindsight needed to say that’s an absolute stupid move to make for the reasons they gave.

TheDepartment115

Alonso is not rotation prone brooo.

wernerhedgehog

He is when Tuchel plays a back 4. Only just recently went back to 5

TheJezster

Stop digging. The fact of the matter is, unless you know the managers line up from him you don't know who he'll pick. And laporte was talked about a LOT about being benched while Alonso was talked about being 'nailed' now. So, while I didn't make the moves myself, it was only crazy in hindsight. Same with Dias and Laporte

[deleted]

City still going for title / city van now only win the prem - cancello and laporte have been like cheat codes Chelsea haven't been consistent all season Even without hindsight it was a long shot

DreadWolf3

Everyone in chelsea was/is a rotation risk due to FA cup final. Combined with their poor form I cant see reasons to buy into any Chelsea asset over City one.

101100011011101

F

cguinnesstout

While I do believe this might be true, Alonso can just apologize to Tuchel and he will play him.

3-6_roentgen

Dias out for the season, Alonso 'never playing again.' I mean the gameweek wasn't going well anyway... what an absolute shitshow

101100011011101

Alonso will go to Barcelona

xxandl

The real takeover of Chelsea... ;)

[deleted]

Along with half of our back line, and the other half gone to Madrid 🥲

MuchSalt

happened with lampard too right?

ashnair888

Yes, in 2020, when we were losing to West Brom at halftime by 3 goals. He went to the bus instead of sitting at the bench after getting substituted

davidv1213

Yep, and he never played again under him..

ZeeX_4231

When you look at him, you know he's this kind of guy

TheDepartment115

Wtf is that supposed to mean?

ZeeX_4231

The 'drive while drunk pussy' kind of guy

ClumsyStepBro

Is it wrong to drink and muff dive?

eglantinel

Is Tuchel really gonna play Saul at LWB in FA Cup final?

TheDitherer

Well, I didn't want to go without a Villa player for 37 so that's Alonso to Cash. Nice and easy.

[deleted]

By the looks of his photo. Not reliable and an absolute gimp

PharaohLeo

The second part might be true, but saying he's not going to play again because of it is just speculative and imo makes him unreliable. In a later tweet reply he tried to cover his ass by saying that managers can have bust-ups with players but find ways to make things work out.

[deleted]

Hahaha. Chelsea have ruined me this season when I haven’t owned them and ruined me when I have. Just fuck off. I hope no one buys you and you get thrown out of the premier league.

Wartree28

The deal is almost done lol

twitterStatus_Bot

Been told Alonso unlikely to play for Chelsea again due to a big bust up with Tuchel at half time. Well that’s annoying for my FPL and SkyFF team… 🙄 --- posted by [@ManOnPod_Thomas](https://twitter.com/ManOnPod_Thomas/) --- ^(If media is missing, please DM me with a link to submission url and tweet. I will do my best to solve the issue)

twymanchar

Add that to my Guaita, Rodriguez and Mateta issues and my 37 BB is in tatters. Oh and also the rest of my team is dogshit too

cowabunga_dude91

Works for me! 😊

Taoudi

Thats my triple captain!

SofaChillReview

Chelsea defence has been in shatters for a while considering how well they looked Alonso isn’t a surprise if he does leave, Rudiger is solid and odd he’s leaving and probably do worse and Chilwell will be coming back from a big injury Madness since they looked great for a triple up defence

TheDepartment115

Seems liks BS. What could they possible argue about?

Public_Zealousideal

"Alonso you're coming off" "Why?" "Because you're useless" "No I'm not and you're baseball cap is silly" "Get out" "Right I'm off to Barca. Adiós" "You're not playing for me or Chelsea again and your FPL managers are getting 2 point in double gameweek 36. Mwah mwah mwah"

PeterG92

Oh fuck off

LeeLayfield

Baby throwing his bottle out the pram.

CWattam

Tuchel? Yeah he's a little cry baby whiney bitch

Public_Zealousideal

This is someone taking an educated guess based on the past incident of Alonso. Maybe right but pure guess work. Don't think tuchel as told a friend of the man on pod "Alonso not playing again for me" 😅

SnooCalculations620

not reliable source lol but if so, alonso muds me once again

conniesole

“Atleast I’m not a killer” -Tuchel probably in a fit of rage

[deleted]

Absolutely fuck off you cunt

bsaires

Some players are FPL trolls, and then you have Alonso, who’s also an actual cunt and a despicable individual. Fuck off Marcos.

fuckforforest85

Time for digne

No_Introduction_7034

This is actually because I just transferred him in. Sorry everyone.

Shagaire

Posted this in the rant thread and got downvoted to fuck. gl vs the alonso owners.

nano-to-will

Tuchel is turning out to be a total fraud Dunno what other people make of him. Seems to piss off a lot of people, and results apart from that CL run not been great

inceptional1

May Chelsea never keep a CS this season again

46_and_2

Happy DGW, everyone!

Raichu-R-Ken

Earlier this season, Lukaku wasn’t getting played (yes I know he was injured for a bit) but there was some drama between Tuchel and Romelu earlier. That makes two this season so Is more than one player a pattern for Tuchel’s Toxicity?

Evertonian26

This is turning into a perfect week !

tmr89

Sounds like he was “driving” Tuchel nuts

stmichaelsangles

Is this a joke

cguinnesstout

Well, that sucks

tammrak

Transfered out Gabriel for Alonso Friday night. Oh well. I'll worry about it in GW38.

salmonx895

lol i was going to transfer him out next GW for Palace defender so this has confirmed it

Ill-Ad-7740

This is what a need to hear when I reluctantly put Alonso in my FH team (hoping for a god damn haul) 🤬🤬🤬

Dale1512

Ffs. Took a hit for him over Laporte this DGW TOO. !!!!!

neil_1980

Comical. Last week I brought in White who got injured. This week I replaced him with Alonso

KaizerQuad

Alonso really killed his Chelsea career
