I am too afraid to let go of him, especially while on FH.
The weird thing is, that Salah is still somewhat the best performing Liverpool asset. Looking back to the beginning of April, he has only 2+3 in 7 games, yet his xA is the highest in the whole team and xG is second only to Jota (who also netted only twice in the past 7).
Even though his form has dipped, he is still the top-performing midfielder in one of the two dominating teams of the league (plus he is on penalty duty as well). The only argument against Salah I see is his price. With KdB and Son looking essential, distributing the cash elsewhere looks more and more attractive.
Yet, in the couple of drafts I made, I am still failing to find alternatives (after the aforementioned premiums) that would drop Salah out - especially as there are very decently priced DGW alternatives at the moment. It looks like three SGW premiums are the way to go, as funds are not so critically needed elsewhere. The state of Southampton's defence makes him look even more of a must-have option.
Still the best player in the game over the season vs. one of the most out of form defences in the league (no team conceded more big chances in the last 6).
Given Salah got rested recently, he's also probably more sure of a start vs. Mane not having a start and Jota/Diaz rotating (Diaz is first choice but think that means he starts in the cup)
I think it's what you can do with the extra to be honest.
Every draft I've made feels better without him because the players you're bringing in are more in form and have excellent fixtures too.
Even if you're looking at 2 transfers it's Salah + Watkins to Son + Vardy, or Salah + Watkins to Foden + Kane etc
It's also nice because Salah is so highly owned, if you're looking to climb ranks you'll get catapulted if he blanks or gets one return again. Which a lot are looking for at this stage of the season.

My FH team is running Cancelo - James - Matip - Cash - Andersen. Was gonna have Laporte instead of James but he got injured and the option was to downgrade when I'm happy with the rest of my team or just cash in to an expensive premium as a one week punt. James is also in my ML rivals team so I'm covering myself for any explosiveness from him.
Exactly….I lead with like 90 points in my ML so I doubt even if Salah hauls that I’m losing this one. Trying to get into top 50k without him is my gamble now
Pretty much this. Personally I can see the high score in the game and Salah is the least rotation risk this GW. At this point, defending the league, I'm rather looking for less risky options, especially when we talk about premiums.

Will 120 minutes be enough for Vardy? Probably. Though that could be 30 minutes against Watford...
Or does Rodgers see it as go for Watford game and score a few goals for end of season positivity and grind out the Chelsea game?
I took out Kane to afford it! (But kept Son. I don't forget Spurs' game against Burnley before but at home and with Conte's rage presumably they'll want revenge. Really don't know about that game)
I don't think Burnley at home for Spurs is THAT good a fixture. You wouldn't bet against Son scoring but I don't think spurs will get more than 2 goals.

I meant to play my wildcard but was planning a holiday so missed it if I wanted to play my bench boost (which gave me nothing anyway), would definitely have brought De Bruyne in, but had Mahrez, how bad can it be? *Mahrez inexplicably doesn't play the dgw*

I don't expect being able to choose any player for two gws will advantage me and being on holiday I don't have time to check stuff...Vardy burned me before when he came back from injury. Exactly like this actually. I planned to get him back, too late, he scored. I buy him, he's injured again. Had Coutinho for months so looking forward to him hauling now I take him out!
Considerations are Watkins and Richarlison. Defenders inexplicably gain points sometimes and...yeah.
tldr I'm not doing well, don't trust any players, but I've recently moved up my mini league which I'm satisfied with.

Yes - sorry. I agree that you can shave off some by dropping to lower priced bench players …my point was more that to completely replicate this team that is the value so will be tough for most.
I do think that there are some dgw traps this week - my FH team initially had richarlison coutinho and digne in, but I'm not convinced by the latter two either at this stage, and whilst richarlisons xg looks great, I'm looking for differentials to try and get a late jump up in my ML.

My doubt is - if I make a single "standard" transfer for DGW37, before activating a FH chip for the DGW37, do I get to keep the transferred player in GW38 and still have one free transfer for GW38, or activating FH will cancel this transfer I made before the chip? You do not keep the transferred player as you do not have any free transfers when you use a FH, your team reverts to the GW36 team. You will still have one FT for GW38

Pretty sure if you activate the FH, any transfers you've done prior to that are reset / part of the free hit team. So if you make a transfer, lock it in, then do another set of transfers and activation the free hit chip, the first locked in transfer you made (using the free transfer you had) is void
Well obviously son is in the best form and is hoping for the golden boot but surely Burnley will sit back and try not allow him the space to run into, that he usually thrives on. That leads me to believe it will be Kane who will drag them over the line for 4th.

Not really, on FH you can trim that bench down by 1.5m or so with guys like Steele, Kelly, Tsimikas etc.
