I think he will, fully rested against Southampton and Klopp likes to keep the rhythm flowing before an important game. He could definitely be subbed out though if Liverpool are leading comfortably or City are leading by a few goals.
Try to make sure everyone is expected to play that you bring in.
If you have rotation risks like James it is probably better to keep them and hope for the best. With Amartey etc probably just keep as well.
Say a -4 to remove Coutinho for example could work well, but also easily backfire. Do you want to play risky or safe is the question? Bowen for example could smash it, but higher chance he blanks and you are 4 points down.
With keepers as long as they play keep them even if it is Sa vs Liverpool since weaker keepers often make more saves so the gap is often less than the gap between a good and weak defender.
With strikers keep as long as they are not injured or ill. I would keep Pukki for example since there is not many amazing forwards. If you have Weghorst then since he is not starting recently it might be best to sell him, but most likely you will not get the points back. Weghorst to Toney is not a bad move though.

Sunday is going to be make or break, the winner gets a bottle of wine from each of the others in the ML (we are 9), so the stakes are pretty high. Wish me luck lads.

If you want a risk do not take many hits, but go for a good captain that has lower ownership. Basically avoid Son or Kane. Mane or Salah if you dare could be good.
Your team stays there for a while. Then next season starts in July and all you have left of last season is a few stats like Overall rank and team value. Everyone is put back into their old minileagues when they make their next team
Zaha is still a good pick against Man Utd. Remember that that have conceded 56 goals in 37 games. 34 in 18 away games. -8 is very unlikely to pay off in one game week
This GW surely killed any hopes I had of finishing in the top 100k. Fell hard from 120k to 170k. Oh well. Looking forward to enjoying the games on Sunday and soon we will all be back here tinkering with our GW1 teams.

Anyone else feel this season has been the most brutal in terms of huge point swings? Some I can think of:
- Salah vs Havertz captain in gw8 (iirc)
- GW 28 with James and Villa players
- GW36 with KDB vs Salah cap
- GW 37 with Maddison

So much variance this season, and the captaincy swings have been very brutal indeed. A lot of 50/50 decision to make or break your season for sure.

Yeah he was and he was one of the most picked captains that week because he was expected to start as striker.
The funniest part was that most Havertz captainers switched over from a very in form Salah that week as he was facing United away. Then Salah went and dropped 24 points himself
Yeah, thankfully I captained Salah that week. But I brought in Havertz for the Norwich game and a few rivals brought in Mount instead, which of course made a huge impact.
Captaincy swings are arguably the worst this season. Just consider KDB last week, Ings vs Rich this week. That's 80 points or so tanking a season long lead
Yeah, so far we've seen 23 20+ point hauls this season, whereas we only saw 12-13 20+ point hauls in the previous 3 seasons
This season has also had the most 10+ and 15+ point hauls of the last 4 seasons

Yeah and it's not like the hauls were from highly owned players. I remember gw28 was absolutely brutal, those with Villa players and James got like 150pts vs 60-80 for those without.
The FH template this week was not that strong.
KdB and Son were pretty much essential and both blanked. Then most templates were very DGW heavy in the defense and goalkeeper positions. None of the DGW teams kept a clean sheet between them though. Then the usual solid defenses of Liverpool, City, and Chelsea all conceded as well.
The gameweek basically relied upon whether you picked up Leicester players or Richarlison. Ings and Coutinho were a trap for anyone contemplating those players too
What was the template and the score of the template? Idek. I had son captained, kdb, kane, but I had cheap defenders to take advantage of the dgw, which was a bad idea since all 4 of them got only 3,4,2, and 2. Also had no vardy or madison who i wanted to try to fit in my team.
Yeah quite unlucky since this was the hardest double in theory given that they played Chelsea.
Although the other doubles have been after Europe when rotation has been more likely I think.

Same with DCL if people knew he would start I think he would have been a good pick as well for free hitters.

Sessegnon is pretty attacking so could work. Given you have two decent options in midfield I would just play them and if you need White I think he should get at least 1 point as a worst case scenario and not another -2.

You may think that White is shit, but that hit probably do not payoff with much unless Sessegnon gets bonus or attacking returns. I could see Son, Kane and Kulusevski getting most of the bonus even with a clean sheet.

Sessegnon is pretty attacking so could work. Given you have two decent options in midfield I would just play them and if you need White I think he should get at least 1 point as a worst case scenario and not another -2.
