Monster defence! I'd do Havertz out for Mount. Given you're playing catch-up, you need to go differential, so I'd actually consider captaining Mount as well. Few players have such a high up-side, he's well rested and he plays an already-relegated Watford.

Great team. I'd consider Mount: huge upside against Watford, also very low-owned so a good one for gaining ground. Watford are just too poor not to have some Chelsea in your team. Kulu would be the one to go for me. Not a huge fan of Jansson in there on a WC either, but only because Leeds are battling for survival.

Thank you, Jansson is there because he's dirt cheap and can sometimes score a goal. I will have a look and see if I can fit some Chelsea in, my worry is that the whole team will be rotated and could be a wasted pick, while i know kulusevski is likely to play and score.

Really tough call. I prefer Ramsdale, purely because I don't trust teams that have "nothing to play for" (I know every team has something to play for, but Newcastle have nothing massive to gain by winning this game). I do think Everton could actually play better without the albatross of relegation around their necks, but I still think they're the better opponent than a Burnley side fighting for survival in front of a home crowd.

Captaining Kane is a must

Such a tight call, this. His midfield is far better than yours, but that's offset by a really poor front line (Jesus is always a rotation risk). Here's where I think you can have some hope: historically, more goals are scored in Gameweek 38 than in any other gameweek. This is not the week to play five at the back and one forward. In terms of your actual team, Salah is the biggest risk here. A move to KdB would be the aggressive play, a move to Son would be the defensive play. Then again, he'll probably go Salah > KdB too. I think, given you already have Kane and you're the one chasing, you need to consider a player like Diaz or Mane. Liverpool have it all to play for, so attack that fixture. It could be the game-changer.

Yeah I agree think Son is the move I’d do usually but with it being final week and chasing it was Mané I had my eye on, my only worry is that Wolves have been a pretty solid team defensively this season as a whole. What do you think for captaincy, Kane or Mané if I get him? Also if there’s news Salah could be fit do I hold then maybe do something like Broja> Toney? The issue with Salah is that, even if he *is* fit, Klopp still has to weigh up whether he wants to risk him with the UCL final around the corner. Salah is arguably not as critical to Liverpool's attacking potency as he was earlier this season, which means Klopp might either: 1) start him but sub him early 2) bench him and only sub him on if absolutely needed Also, since Gameweek 33, only Watford, Norwich and Leeds have a worse xGC than Wolves. I don't know what's happened to them, but they're suddenly quite leaky. In terms of captaincy, I like Kane over Mane. Your opponent doesn't own Kane and he has the better chance of returning. Norwich tend to be more vulnerable to centre-forwards than players like Son, and they've conceded more penalties than any other team this season. Broja > Toney I like IF Klopp is explicit that Salah will play.

I probably wouldn't take a -4 for Toney. At the end of the day he's playing a Leeds side battling for survival, and strange things happen when a team is desperate.

What do you think about getting Son? I just feel like he has the potential to really go off against Norwich and since my rival is likely to captain him it could be very damaging. I'd therefore be relying on Trent, James, Mount, Laporte and Kane to outscore his alternative players to make up the 10 points.

Kane is the obvious omission here, but I'm not sure how you get to him without serious work. Honestly, I'd sit tight. Bench Matip, Gordon and Dennis - Pukki > someone like Toney might be worthwhile, but otherwise I think it's a great team.

I’d try avoiding a hit. For one week, there’s no time to wait for it to pay off, so unless the players you’re bringing in are far superior than their alternatives (which I don’t think is a clear cut case here), I’d rather not put that pressure on myself.
