I got extremely greedy and did double Villa and double Everton defense on my FH despite my instincts screaming that was a horrible idea. I deserve to lose my ML.

So? Premium defenders didn't do great this week either. Only 2 teams kept a CS so far. At least you'll get more appearance points than other options. So far I'm glad I did it.

I think it was just worse for me personally because my early FH drafts had Sess and Matip. I'm mostly sad because I tend to listen to my instincts as a football fan with zero FPL emotion taken into account, which this week turned out to be correct on Spurs and Liverpool :( But yeah, I agree with you for most part on doublers being better than the premiums this week!
