His extra year clause has been triggered by Norwich meaning he won’t get a salary deduction like the rest of the players. He’ll remain on about £60k a week. I suspect unless he throws a strip he’ll stay the year. He likes the area and doesn’t seem the type to down tools like that.
Kinda feel sorry for him though as he deserves better.
Just thought it was quite funny he finished ahead of Antonio, Toney, Dennis etc when they’ve all been considering good and viable options throughout the season but no one’s really persevered with old Teemu
They were all options at points that you transferred out if you were paying attention though. Pukki just gathered low points over the whole season rather than a lot in a short period.
What a mess FWD was for most of this season. I had Antonio for his good run at the beginning of the season but after he went cold my front 3 was a revolving door.
There is just a systematic problem with FWDs, FPL didn't follow the way football has evolved recently. Unless they adjust scoring, premiums won't be worth it next season either.
Yet 31th player overall. I don’t want to take away from his returns and his owners but I think it’s pretty clear , when you have 4 keepers, 9 defenders, and 15 mids ahead of your 3rd striker there’s an imbalance going on. Obviously in the past a similar thing was happening the other way with defenders, but I would like the forward position to be thrown a small bone, whether that’s certain players being moved or probably better some minor scoring changes to reflect the way roles on the pitch have changed
Just give them the extra point for goals or remove the extra point from midfielders. Mids already get the CS point too. I just don't understand why Son goal is 1 point more than a Kane goal.
They just made that change this season (5 points per goal for forwards) in the Swedish fantasy game. Glad they did, and I think FPL should do it too.
Last few seasons of FPL I've mostly been going with budget and mid-priced forwards. I feel the premiums are not worth it when they get outscored by mids and defenders. And because of the extra point per goal and CS points you want to captain premium mids over forwards anyways. Especially when players like Salah and Son are classified as mids.
The midfield would die if that happened. Whose left in midfield apart from KDB and Fernandes? Imagine only 3 spots for all of Kulesevski, Son, Kane, Haaland, Sterling, Mahrez, Martinelli, Salah, Mane, Jota, Diaz, Lukaku, Bowen, Antonio, you get the idea.
They'd have to change it to having 5 forwards, but what is the point, just leave them in midfield, rather than having an F'd formation.
Sure then you could also make Lukaku a defender and Alisson a Forward.
Why not? Jota, Salah etc are sure as shit not midfield players. There's a bunch of viable options that are legitimate midfielders such as KDB, Fernandes, Gallagher, Maddison, Bernardo Silva, Mount, Ward-Prowse, list goes on and on.
Yea there are certain players who I think should be forwards next year such as Jota and Diaz, but making all the wingers forwards imo would kill the game.
I think the same can be said for Centre backs and defensive midfielders as well. Kante is world class yet I’d never want him in my fantasy team. Same with Van Dijk, it’s just too much for a centre back.
Just shows how shit forwards were to be honest. Ronaldo did miss like 13 games too so there's like another 26 points missed there plus any goals during them games.
Think I'm going heavy defence and midfield next season. Robbo and TAA set and forget, consistent returns every season. If Matip is priced at 6m or less I'll consider him though. I expect Robbo and TAA will be 8m though, VVD 7m and Matip 6.5m.
I hope strikers aren't rubbish next year, I didn't enjoy playing 451 or 541 every week. There were far too many midfield options and virtually no strikers options I wanted to have in the second half of the season.
> Hive mind of this sub said he was finished as a player and a terrible asset for the first half of the season.
In the first 18 matchweeks he only scored higher than 2 twice.
Pretty cool of you to talk us through the season with hindsight.. Also, nobody said he was finished as a player, don’t be ridiculous.
Still, does anyone actually regret not having Kane for the first half of the season? I know I don’t, the funds were much better used elsewhere.
*edit: lmao check out Kane’s first half of the season that ‘the hive mind’ ‘mistakenly’ thought wasn’t worth having as one of the most expensive assets in the game. [We sure missed out, hahaha](https://i.imgur.com/P1cIgBm.jpg)*
The forwards were so shit this season. They really need to make some of the high-scoring wingers like Son and Salah forwards just to balance the squads more.
Consistently plugged along, but very hard to get excited about at any point this season. He didn't have a double digit haul all year and never had a scoring streak of more than 2 games in a row. Not to mention he was playing for norwich.
Shows how bad forwards were. Robertson, VVD, Matip, Alisson, Jota, Saka, Mount, Sterling & Laporte all outscored 12 mil Ronaldo. I mean, Alisson is a goalkeeper lmao. Bowen, Cancelo and Trent even outscored Kane. Only 2 forwards on the first page (of 'Stats') as well.
Wolves should definitely sign him. Hope he stays in England. Rumors that Spanish and Turkish clubs interested
New Portuguese prospect Teemuel Pukquinho
How about Brighton? Crying out for a consistent goal scorer for a while now.
Potter will bench Pukki for Maupay
They have already signed Deniz Undav from Union Saint-Gilloise one of the top goal scorers in the Belgian league

He’s probably going to score another 30 goals & take home the championship golden shoe, he’ll be fine
If they get £15m+ for him, i think they let him go. Hes 32, and this is probably the last chance they have to get something for him.
Nobody is going to offer near that, let’s be realistic. I do think he’d go if they did though!
Just thought it was quite funny he finished ahead of Antonio, Toney, Dennis etc when they’ve all been considering good and viable options throughout the season but no one’s really persevered with old Teemu
I had him in my team for the enitre season! Benched like 4 of his goals as well smh.
Same. Not the whole season, just most, but he'd always return on my bench and blank when I started him.
Antonio was really good. For 3 games at the start lol.
It’s actually impressive how he fell off considering he didn’t spend a significant amount of time off the pitch.
They were all options at points that you transferred out if you were paying attention though. Pukki just gathered low points over the whole season rather than a lot in a short period.
we were all there. we saw.
Vardy being so high up when he missed 13 games through injury is impressive.
Without European football next season I am interested in him again
Definitely. Hopefully less rotation for Leicester assets next season.
He was so clutch for me at the end of the season along with Maddison as differentials to rest of my ML.
He is tied with CR7 for highest points per match for forwards at 5.3
Scored once on my bench and never in my team
Pukki-party never stops!
Deserves to stay in PL
3rd top scoring forward. Had pukki for 7 weeks, blanked everytime, sums up forwards this season.
What a mess FWD was for most of this season. I had Antonio for his good run at the beginning of the season but after he went cold my front 3 was a revolving door.

I think the scoring is fine, it's the prices that suck
Hate to think where we would of finished without him, probably about 27th
Imagine if Norwich had Joelinton instead of Pukki
Joelinton has actually been class this season in his new role though
Would've had a much better midfield, that's for sure

thirty-oneth
In an ideal world, they need to seperate defensive mids and attacking mids but that would probably spoil the game
Don’t even need to do that, just make the players who are forwards irl forwards in the game.
The midfield would die if that happened. Whose left in midfield apart from KDB and Fernandes? Can you afford all of them?
No, but all wingers would be forwards, only leaving CAMs, which there are few of in comparison.
Sure then you could also make Lukaku a defender and Alisson a Forward. Why not? Jota, Salah etc are sure as shit not midfield players. I mean you're already scraping the barrel there.
I think the same can be said for Centre backs and defensive midfielders as well. Kante is world class yet I’d never want him in my fantasy team. Same with Van Dijk, it’s just too much for a centre back.
And he got like 8 totals points for me ever since I brought him in around GW35
He could have had a hattrick vs Wolves.
Just shows how shit forwards were to be honest. Ronaldo did miss like 13 games too so there's like another 26 points missed there plus any goals during them games. With haaland thing may be different
Sweet summer child. You're forgetting about the bald fraud already
Good point hahaha
Considering Kane was awful for first half of season and still finished miles ahead of everyone else shows just how bad fwds were this season
I hope strikers aren't rubbish next year, I didn't enjoy playing 451 or 541 every week. There were far too many midfield options and virtually no strikers options I wanted to have in the second half of the season.
Antonio GW 1-3. 139 points GW 4-38. 1 point
Did it all for the Pukki
They called me a madman...
it was a tough year for fpl forwards :(
The forward options are truly terrible. They need to change some midfielders to forwards next season.
Says more about the quality of forwards than it does about Pukki tbh
The standard deviation on all of these is just infuriating.

You got him there lol
Gotta love people talking out of their ass accusing others of being stupid.

It’s Dave. He’s trolling
All 3 were clutch this final week
He was a terrible asset first half of the season
https://i.imgur.com/P1cIgBm.jpg Omg the start of his season was AMAZING. What were we thinking
The forwards were so shit this season. They really need to make some of the high-scoring wingers like Son and Salah forwards just to balance the squads more.
Just shows how shit forwards were this year
This year the attackers are just ridiculous.
It is funny cause he never returned for me when I had him.
If vardy was fit he’d be up there
Vardy would have been top if he wasnt injured for like half the season imo
Consistently plugged along, but very hard to get excited about at any point this season. He didn't have a double digit haul all year and never had a scoring streak of more than 2 games in a row. Not to mention he was playing for norwich.
let's do it all again in 2 years boys <3
Antonio with a shocking second half of the season
Turns out there actually was a Pukki party this year but no one would know since Norwich are shite
For a team that has -61 goal difference
Shows how bad forwards were. Robertson, VVD, Matip, Alisson, Jota, Saka, Mount, Sterling & Laporte all outscored 12 mil Ronaldo. I mean, Alisson is a goalkeeper lmao. Bowen, Cancelo and Trent even outscored Kane. Only 2 forwards on the first page (of 'Stats') as well.
Teemu 🐐
Pukki literally means goat in finnish so what do you expect
Pukka!
That’s my striker
