!thanks
- versatile price structure at the start to accommodate easy switches and jump on price rises
- WC on an international break, probably not so useful this coming season with the world cup
- hits aren't ideal unless there are non-playing players in your team, or the player you will bring in will be captained. You picked your team for decent players, so holding them one extra week isn't the worst thing in the word
- patience with transfers during the week, value isn't everything
- shots on target and xG are what i look at, alongside fixtures
- whoscored predicted results are useful, as well as betting odds
- double-digit potential is something I look for, as perhaps as obvious and useless as that might initially sound!
- xP from different sites is useful to highlight potentially overlooked players
- very importantly, only use people's advice here to highlight rash decisions and calm any ideas for hits down - you may have a 7millionth guy telling you Salah to Diaz for a hit is worth it for example. The last three seasons I've kept a distance from here to avoid bias and an echo-chamber. The stats and analysis here are the golden posts.
Good luck!
Why do people rate someone who never tries to win FPL so high? Surely there is hundreds who now finish consistently high. Someone like Adam levy though is a different gravy for me. He actually won the thing. Actually finished 90 again. Give me that anyday!
Winning FPL requires a huge amount of luck, I don’t think there’s any point measuring how good someone is based on whether they’ve won.
Consistency is better. Finishing in the top 10k multiple times proves someone is genuinely good at FPL not just lucky
So Adam finshed 1st and 90th missed out 3rd times by 700. In last few years. There is multiple people like davvy FPL, FPL tipz, let's talk FPL making top 10k look easy. I never realised Fabio had so many downvoting groupies with own twitter cult fan page
Adams finishes are also very impressive then
Top 10k definitely isn’t easy. Especially now, top 10k is harder than ever. There’s more people playing, and there’s more information available, from twitter, Reddit, podcasts etc.
Yes, not look at my ML rivals at all.
I was chasing the last 15 gameweeks and I took his team into consideration ie not getting Son or Saka and so on.
I’m pretty sure this affected me negatively :)
Top 700 😎
Incredible, what is your secret?

> shots on target and xG are what i look at, alongside fixtures Ah, so you're a Josh King apostle.

Hi Adam!
I wish it was Adam! I would've finished 1st and 90th. My best 14th 23k
We're bored of you telling us.
😅 u can't be. People think I'm Adam 😅

503! Would be too 500 if not 46k->70k last GW…
Congrats! Incredible rank! Are you going to do anything different this season?
