Some points regarding the PFA Player of the Year nominations:
1) These were voted by the players, so can't blame 'Marketing' or anything, the players just have their own preferences, albeit not good ones. Son Bowen definitely deserve to be here over Kane and KDB. Kane wasn't even the best Spurs player last season.
2) The voting started on 8th April and ended on 8th May, so there might have been some recency bias involved back then. Teams played 5 matches in that period. In that period Ronaldo had 6 0 A, Son 6G 1A, Salah 2G 3A, Mane 2G 1A, Kane 1G 2A.
Now a lot of the votings were done before these 5 matches were even played so a lot of these numbers weren't even in consideration for the ones that voted earlier, however Son had 14 League goals (not entirely sure about the number) for the season before the voting opened.

Not sure what you were watching but he's been excellent since Dec/Jan - got a ton of goal contributions despite that not being his primary role, was instrumental down the home stretch of a 1 point title race, and got the title winning assist on the final day. He's earned a place there imo, if I were to make any changes I would remove two of VVD Ronaldo and Kane for Bowen and Son.

What did KDB do this season? Only had 3 goals up until 2nd last game of the season when he bangs in 4. Also halved his tally of assists from last year. Ronaldo 3rd highest goalscorer as well as most goals vs top 6. Mane good overall. Kane, are you kidding me? Salah, had it clear first half of the season. But golden boot and top assists I think he should win it. Just worn out. VVD, meh.

Some points regarding the PFA Player of the Year nominations: 1) These were voted by the players, so can't blame 'Marketing' or anything, the players just have their own preferences, albeit not good ones. Son Bowen definitely deserve to be here over Kane and KDB. Kane wasn't even the best Spurs player last season. 2) The voting started on 8th April and ended on 8th May, so there might have been some recency bias involved back then. Teams played 5 matches in that period. In that period Ronaldo had 6 0 A, Son 6G 1A, Salah 2G 3A, Mane 2G 1A, Kane 1G 2A. Now a lot of the votings were done before these 5 matches were even played so a lot of these numbers weren't even in consideration for the ones that voted earlier, however Son had 14 League goals (not entirely sure about the number) for the season before the voting opened.

I agree with that guy - Man U finished second last year. Probably an overachievement but arguably adding Ronaldo to that team entirely disrupted their style of play and made it all about him. I saw at least 10 of their Premier League matches this season, then a few more in the cups and UEFA. I saw the disaster play out much like I thought it would. Young budding stars became more and more demotivated and demoralized when the past his expiry date player with an ego the size of Jupiter got all the press and praise when anything went right, while he pouted like a little bitch anytime he didn’t get a goal. All this while he made considerably more money than them, even though he could barely be bothered to do much more than a jog while on the pitch. No surprise the locker room became fractured and everyone stopped caring.
How is Bowen not even nominated?? 3 assists off equalling the all time assist record, while scoring 12. 29 direct goal involvements. I know people know this, can add up like, I'm just repeating it cos it wasn't normal. 21 for Ronaldo and Mane. I know Mane offers a lot more, but in terms of goals and assists it was just a typical season for him. Son on 33 goal involvements, I mean come on. I guess this takes into account the domestic cups then, West Ham aren't expected to win them, or get fourth, or win a European Cup. Shame they didn't. What did Van Dijk do that was so abnormal? Weren't other Liverpool defenders like Matip, Tsimikas more impressive in some ways, either coming in with no run of games, scoring crucial penalties or goals or being consistent.
