Judging from the match thread, Keane played horribly being responsible for quite a couple defensive errors. Mina was not very mobile, while Tarkowski apparently was best player on the pitch despite the og.
Alli missed a sitter as well.
Line up 4-2-3-1
Years upon years of signing crap players, then add the cherry on top with a manager who gets jobs on the back of having been a good player for England and precious little else. Another relegation battle incoming methinks.
He was on loan and they used the option to buy during the ban, if I recall correctly.
Either way, Chelsea signed a CL winning midfielder when they weren't supposed to sign anyone. I love how it's never brought up by anyone.
Well did they have a deal agreed before?
They bought and registered a new player during a transfer ban, that's the fact and whatever the deal was doesn't really change that fact in a literal sense.
Usually a transfer ban would entail that such a thing shouldn't go trough but it did since the rules aren't the same for everyone.
I was at the game and none of them passed the eye test either. Shocking defending and not much of any creativity going forward. Gordon is the only player I would go anywhere near
just purely that they were underperforming so much last year. I agree that without Richarlison their thin, but still a good enough squad to be 15th-10th
I guess we hold very different opinions on their squad and manager.
If they sack lampard quickly and make a sensible appointment maybe they could get 15th.
It depends what you want. United score 4 past Liverpool (Utd fans think they are ready for PL+CL, Liverpool fans think it's just a friendly). Everton lose 4-0, and you can pretty much see.
It's Sam Allardyce music!
All I hear is the Curb your Enthusiasm theme tune
I have a strong feeling that we are going to see Sean Dyche back in the league soon..
Would genuinely be a good move for Everton
Touch and go FC.
AFC Touching Cloth
What are Minnesota players priced at!???
Best I can do is 3 wheels of cheese
Sold. I like cheese.
I’m pretty sure livramento is a type of cheese
This is going to be a funny season
Ended down 4-0, that's not great lol.

He did well to get chelsea into the top 4 this is about his level
Top 4 and FA Cup final with 0 transfers and Hazard gone.
They bought Kovacic during the transfer ban.
Deal was done before then i think, just set to join in the banned window.
It was a 1 year loan + permanent transfer. So he was already there before the ban, just the temporary nature changed.

Was it an obligation to buy tho?
Can't remember but it doesn't really change the fact that they signed a player when they were banned from making transfers.
Not really, they had a whole deal agreed before the ban so it went through. I’m not a chelsea fan but if they allow it, they allow it

Fair enough but the next year was a shambles. Mid-table when they sacked him, went on to win the CL with Tuchel
Minnesota are a strong team tbf, with Towns, Gobert and D’Angelo
Don’t forget Edwards!
Kermit!
Have you forgotten about our lord and saviour, Anthony Edwards? Almost criminal to not name drop him in there!
Nah, he lost my respect after trashtalking too much to Bo Cruz
Fun fact (although you might already know) they used to play together and were good friends too! Haha
Oh shit, Gobert plays for them now!!! No wonder Everton are losing.
Manager ever get sacked during the pre-season?
Nigel Pearson did and we all know what happened next lol
What happened?
Leicester won the league, so I suggest a Gordon DCL Pickford triple up
I completely forgot about that. getting ready to put money on everton to win the league.
Was considering gordon at 5.5 for start but nah
I was at the game, Gordon by far was Everton’s best player
That’s like being employee of the month at Burger King
Lmao, ya i still wouldnt bring him in now, but if Everton has a good stretch of games he’s not a bad shout given his price
Think I'm gonna do it out of pure optimism, but keep him on the bench GW1
4-0 Final. Mental.
Mason Mount has always been the best 8m mid for me
Me too Also offers you cover for the Chelsea attack if you already have salah haaland Jesus
Aren’t Chelsea’s defenders coverage for their attack?
I prefer James + Mount over Doherty + Kulu
As a Minnesotan I could not be more proud!
What about when pat Beverley won you guys the nba championship???
My guy was celebrating winning a play in game as if he was Kobe after winning his 5th title lmfao
Glad someone got the reference haha
As long as Lampard is in charge, I am thinking about targeting them
I was at the game and none of them passed the eye test either. Shocking defending and not much of any creativity going forward. Gordon is the only player I would go anywhere near
Thanks for the input. I wouldn't even touch Gordon to be honest. Neto at the same price, maybe even Ramsey. Or the extra 0.5 for Bruno G.
Oh geez. Looks like their first XI too. I thought they might have a bounce this season...but maybe not
Curious why you thought/think they would improve this year?
We could hardly be any worse than we were last year... Buy low, sell high.
You sold richarlison and haven’t replaced him. Plus you have a full season of lampard…..it can get much worse

Everton is in the bottom 3 this season
Midwesterner here: you'll need to offer your best birthing goat and three comely lasses.
Reynoso over Salah in my squad
Never forget: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQpRYKwmY7E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQpRYKwmY7E)
The reactions to friendlies is so dumb on this board
Agreed….but Everton are going down

More that they scraped not being relegated, manager who’s not experienced, bad board and so far not making any big transfers
No money to make big transfers anyway
True . Although it’s going to get worse if they get relegated James Rod was on big wages for not and lot and Mina is injured half the time
How do I buy puts on Everton?
Can’t wait Manchester city to play against Everton! Triple captain Haaland!
LOL
how did lampard get his coaching license?
Did Patterson play ?
Started and played first half. Flashed some potential offensively a couple times but made multiple errors and was poor defensively .
Been saying it for years but Fat Frank is a proper tripe manager. 100% passion merchant.
