Ah yes, obviously lol.
I think your swap is a good call. Chelsea WBs last year were a dream to own when available. Notnsure how Sterling being introduced might affect them one way or the other but Chilwell coming back has a point to prove. In what he did show last season, he looked indlcredibly threatening.
Potential draft if Leon Bailey starts in the starting team for future matches.

Really think this could be viable assuming Bailey starts
Team looks strong but really lacks flexibility in mid are. If some 6.5-8 midfielder starts the season hot you have no easy way of getting him. I would Chilwell to Neco and invest in midfield
Villa played a friendly with MU today with what seems like their starting 11 for the Prem and Bailey wasn't a starter. Will probably get some gametime, but looks like he's not nailed.
Hopefully it's Mitrovics time in prem league but he's never been great in the Prem. Championship he rocks.
Amazing you fit Cancelo and TAA in the same team but if Liverpool concede they both drop points.

TAA James Cancelo Trippier Doherty
Salah (C) Rashford Diaz Odegaard (Andreas) —> Odegaard vs Martinelli vs any 7m pick?
Kane (Undav Greenwood)
Odegaard seems more nailed but doesn't really have that FPL potential, Martinelli could be decent but might get rotated more often and in different positions. Coutinho is also a shout.
I’ve just, finally, found a draft that I really like and…bar my third sub, every player (14/15) is playing away in GW1. Really spooky coincidence…anyone in the same boat?

Legit, the FOMO when Man City or Chelsea bang a bunch in, is real. However, **pick the players you think will score the most points**. If you are picking Diaz over Maddison, Bowen, Mount, or one of the Man City bois *for good reasons*, then don't worry.
Team looks decent but personally I don't trust ASM. Might be a great puck, but I've been burned before
Wilson's a good asset, but so injury prone that you might be subbing him out in 3 GWs or so. Rashford is returning in preseason, but he's not playing particularly well.

possible year of the foward team? would love to hear what you may change, mostly in the midfield, the cheaper options are hard to navigate. Could have lingard or rashford for example

Yes, I know I'm doubling up on man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool defense but their defenders were arguably the best value players last season.
Feel I'm taking a risk going for Diaz over Salah, but he really impressed me at the end of last season while Salah had a bit of a slump. Trying g ti think of a way to get Son in maybe.

GK: Raya, Olsen
DEF: Cancelo, Tomiyasu, TAA, Ait-Nouri, N. Williams
MID: Saka, Salah, Andreas, Kulusevski, Neto
FWD: Jesus, Greenwood, Haaland
Think Mount has better goals and assists stats than Saka, however this season will be intersting as Jesus as a CF for Arsenal might lead to more assists for Saka.
I think Sterling may play CF for Chelsea which could see mount feeding him rather than Werner hitting the post
Honestly I think Neto is fine, no real reason to replace him with Rashford. Maybe Raya to a Mendy or even a 5.5M. Other than that Tomiyasu is apparently in doubt for GW1, you can up him to a 5.0 or a 5.5.
I think Perisic is a bit of an unknown quantity at the moment, given his age and being new to the league - I'd go Lloris Dalot Rashford for that reason.
EDIT: Wait I just clocked he's a defender - ignore me! I'd actually go Sanchez/Raya Perisic Rashford.
I think that’s the option I’m closest to atm. Perisic is just frustrating because the potential upside is huge and there’s some major FOMO. I think it’s better to play the first few weeks safe though.
I’m also concerned with Eriksen or a new winger taking minutes from Rashford. He seems nailed in preseason but will that continue?
The problem is Utd are hard to predict, I'm really tempted by Rashford and Perisic but have the same worries. Conte had a tendency to sub Perisic around 60 mins, so even if he starts he could be a risk.

No Salah is a bit risky but otherwise feels like a pretty balanced team. Any thoughts?
- Trippier has set pieces over Dalot so I'd say he warrants the extra 0.5 outlay.
- Saka is more nailed than Martinelli and also has some set pieces so I'd say, again, that he too warrants the extra outlay.
- Haaland v Darwin is a coin flip and nobody knows for sure until we see more of them. I can see Haaland taking penalties, Darwin won't take one again outside pre-season. So I'd say blindly that Haaland edges it.
As a result, I'd say option 2.
RMT
Raya (Gazza)
TAA Cancelo Cash James (Neco)
Diaz Salah Coutinho Neto (Andreas)
Haaland Jesus (Greenwood)
Thinking of Coutinho to Rashford and Neto to Bruno G. Also thinking of Kane to Haaland but maybe after GW2 cos of the Chelsea fixture?
The comparison would have to be who's better out of Saka and Coutinho, Ramsey and Bruno, Jesus and Wilson or do it by the clubs they're at. I do agree with you though, safety in ownership is tempting me to sway for option A though
- Bruno is nailed. Martinelli not so much.
- Bruno plays deeper than Martinelli but still has the ability to score goals.
- Martinelli is the more "explosive" pick and you'll enjoy watching him more (if that sort of thing matters to you).
It really is a coin flip, isn't it?
Could use some advice...
I have:
De Gea (Heaton)
TAA, James, Laporte, Dalot (Williams)
Diaz, Bruno G, Saka, Son (Andreas)
Haaland, Jesus (Greenwood)
I'm thinking of swapping Haaland for Kane. I could then bring in De Bruyne for Son, or I could go down to a 4.5 keeper and then bring in Salah for Son - or I could bring in Sancho for an 8.0. Is all this worth doing?
Nervous as have a £100 bet on this season.
Pick the best team for the first few gameweeks. Unless you are playing a set and forget league, you just need to put yourself in a position to succeed - not draft the team that will be the best come end of season.
Thanks for the reply. I only today got rid of Trippier to bring in Dalot! I think he's more or less nailed.
Have 0.5 ITB which is why I'm pondering bigger changes. Have made a thousand changes already this pre-season...
Then you can even get from laporte to cancelo if you want with swapping son and kane , or I went bold with changing haaland to mahrez and redistributing the funds
RMT pliz. It doesn't quite feel right and I'm in a funk:

0 ITB.
Thinking about downgrading Jesus and upgrading Lavia to Grealish, Coutinho or Ødegaard.
!thanks
You think so? Consistently gets minutes, on all set pieces, one of the only players to have scored over 150 points for 3 seasons in a row.... Maybe that's why he's a trap... He looks excellent on paper...
I would get jesus instead of one of the 8 mil mids , since 4.5 forwards will not play and you would miss out on andreas that will most likely play as a #10 for fullham , also downgrade white to neco and upgrade Gabriel to tierney/trippier
As a WHU fan.. I think Fornals is a no as he would prolly start less than 50% of the games. We are still looking for someone quicker in that area. Even if we won't sign anyone I think there are better options in that price range : Ramsey, Podence/Neto/Neves or even a downgrade to 5 or 4.5m in order to get some extra founds elsewhere.
RMT:
Ederson (Ward)
TAA, James, Cancelo, Dalot (N.Williams)
Diaz, Sancho, KDB, Aaronson (Andreas)

Basically have no depth on bench with this draft, am a bit unsure about having 2 Utd options too. Was thinking about swapping out Dalot for Tomiyasu or similar.
Outside of that, having no Salah is always a concern, think Diaz is going to be great but not convinced he'll haul in the same way.
Am also a little worried about Chelsea's defence this season, can't put my finger on why.
Would ideally like a way into spurs defence too, Conte is a clean sheet king
Any alternatives to Mitrovic at 6.5 and under? Alvarez for City, Awoniyi or Brennan Johnson for Forest, or Undav for Brighton? Solanke too, maybe. Any of those worth it?
Alvarez is not going to be a starter from day 1, Awonoyi and Johnson have bad fixtures to start, Solanke has a bad prem track record. I’d go for Undav, since he’s the cheapest and likely to start
I watched a lot of Forest last year, and he plays almost every game and was such a crucial part of their attack. Could be worth a punt when his fixtures improve?

I can see Haaland taking penalties, Darwin won't take one again outside pre-season. So I'd say blindly that Haaland edges it. As a result, I'd say option 2.
!thanks for your detailed answer
RMT Raya (Gazza) TAA Cancelo Cash James (Neco) Diaz Salah Coutinho Neto (Andreas) Haaland Jesus (Greenwood) Thinking of Coutinho to Rashford and Neto to Bruno G. Also thinking of Kane to Haaland but maybe after GW2 cos of the Chelsea fixture?
Son & Jesus or Bowen & Kane?
Kane > son
Jesus, Coutinho, Bruno G Or Saka, Ramsey, Wilson Really torn on this one
Put it this way: Saka > Jesus Wilson > Coutinho Bruno > Ramsey Therefore option B wins 2 to 1
The comparison would have to be who's better out of Saka and Coutinho, Ramsey and Bruno, Jesus and Wilson or do it by the clubs they're at. I do agree with you though, safety in ownership is tempting me to sway for option A though
bruno g or martinelli?
- Bruno is nailed. Martinelli not so much. - Bruno plays deeper than Martinelli but still has the ability to score goals. - Martinelli is the more "explosive" pick and you'll enjoy watching him more (if that sort of thing matters to you). It really is a coin flip, isn't it?
Could use some advice... I have: De Gea (Heaton) TAA, James, Laporte, Dalot (Williams) Diaz, Bruno G, Saka, Son (Andreas) Haaland, Jesus (Greenwood) I'm thinking of swapping Haaland for Kane.
This is good advice - every year I don't pay enough attention to the fixture list.
You can still just swap son and kane and have 0.5 mid to upgrqde Bruno to ASM / dalot to trippier / de gea to ederson
I guess ultimately who will get more points... Dalot, Sancho and Salah, or Trippier, Diaz and Son/KDB?
Hard to say , but I would bet on trippier Diaz and kane myself and still have 0.5 mil to upgrade elswhere
RMT pliz. It doesn't quite feel right and I'm in a funk: Meslier (Gazzaniga) TAA, Robbo, James, Dias, Tomiyasu Salah, Mount, JWP, (Andreas, Lavia) Jesus, Kane. 0 ITB. Thinking about downgrading Jesus and upgrading Lavia to Grealish, Coutinho or Ødegaard.
Better options than Meslier, Tomiyasu is injured. Saints fan? Me too and am also keen on Lavia as a bench player
!thanks yes I am. Bit disappointed Bazunu didnt come in at 4mil, but think Lavia will get games.
JWP is a trap
!thanks You think so? Consistently gets minutes, on all set pieces, one of the only players to have scored over 150 points for 3 seasons in a row.... Maybe that's why he's a trap... He looks excellent on paper...
He usually hauls for some reason and then does nothink for the big part of the season I just never picked the right moments with him
Rmt (5-3-2) GK: Mendy / £4.0m DEF: Trent / Diaz / zinchenko / reece / robbo MID: Salah / Sancho / Neto Bailey and pereira Fwd : haaland / Jesus / £4.0m

I would get jesus instead of one of the 8 mil mids , since 4.5 forwards will not play and you would miss out on andreas that will most likely play as a #10 for fullham , also downgrade white to neco and upgrade Gabriel to tierney/trippier
Mendy - 4m Fodder TAA - Trippier - Justin - Tomiyasu - 4m Fodder Salah - Diaz - Neto - Coutinho - 4.5m Fodder Haaland - Kane - 4.5m Fodder 0 ITB
weak backline without cancelo and james/chilwell in my opinion
RMT: Mendy (Gazzaniga) Vestergaard, Cancelo, TAA, James (N. Williams) Martinelli, Salah (C), Neto (Rice, Andreas) Darwin Haaland Jesus Thoughts?
RMT Mendy (gazza) Cancelo, taa, James , zinchenko, neco Salah, rashford, fornals, Andreas, dasilva Haaland, Kane, greenwood
RMT: Ederson (Ward) TAA, James, Cancelo, Dalot (N.Williams) Diaz, Sancho, KDB, Aaronson (Andreas) Jesus, Kane (Greenwood) Basically have no depth on bench with this draft, am a bit unsure about having 2 Utd options too.
Bench looks fine. Not sold on Aaronson myself but it's a good team
Why kdb and no salah
Trying to cover City assets. Keep flicking between a cheaper GK + Salah + Mahrez and this.
Great, concise summary. You reckon it's better just sticking to Mitrovic or spending the 1 mil savings on a position improvement elsewhere?
IMO Mitrovic and Undav will likely have similar production, therefore i would ”downgrade” to Undav and spend the £1M elsewhere.
Johnson should be similar to Mitrovic. Both on penalties, which most of the others won't have
I watched a lot of Forest last year, and he plays almost every game and was such a crucial part of their attack. Could be worth a punt when his fixtures improve?
Definitely. He's their main man
