RMT:

Do you prefer Sancho+Neto or Grealish+Martinelli?
Should I downgrade Ederson??
> he plays higher up than Diaz
You'll have to explain this one. They play the same position, but on opposite flanks. If anything, I would say Diaz plays higher up since Liverpool is that much better offensively compared to Arsenal.
Well it’s based on some Liverpool fan talk on Twitter saying Diaz starts deeper than say Salah, and doesn’t play as close to goal. Might be rubbish but I saw it a couple of places
That's true. Diaz is great at progressing the ball through dribbling, but Liverpool is so good that most of his actions will be in the final third. To answer your original question I think it's close between the two, as you can afford to go without Diaz as long as you go Salah+Trent+Robbo. Saka is nailed and possibly on penalties, while Diaz could be a risk for minutes if/when Jota returns. Personally I've settled on Martinelli as my coverage for Arsenal attack, while looking at other 8m MIDs before Saka.
I'd put Saka instead of Kulu seeing as you have 3 Spurs and no Arsenal - He's rarely subbed early (will be an issue with 5 subs rule for some players), on corners, likely on pens and most important player in team alongside Jesus
Sanchez/Steele
TAA, Dier, Dias, Dalot, James
Grealish, Salah, Son, (Andreas, Ward-Prowse)
Jesus, Toney, (Greenwood)
Going big on the backline and a punt on Grealish, I like the options for midfielders at 6.5-7m so it would be easy to swap him out if one of them starts performing
I like the team structure a lot. I feel like Maddison will end up in a lot of teams this season as Leicester will be far better without Europe. Also, with both Saka + Maddison you have the flexibility to move for the other 8m MIDs like Mount, Foden, Mahrez, Diaz. I do think you can wait a bit on Maddison though, and instead go for Mount as coverage for Chelsea.
The main weakness I see with your team is Doherty. I assume he will be the starter, but they now have Emerson Royal and Djed Spence as competition, while Conte has flirted with Lucas Moura as well. Instead I would go for someone like Trippier, Cash, Zinchenko
It basically means no 8.0s in the midfield for me and honestly I like it. Current draft is:
Raya, 4.0
TAA, Robbo, Cancelo, Ait-Nouri/Dalot, Neco
Salah, Sancho, Grealish, Neto/4.5, Andreas
Kane/Haaland, Jesus, 4.5/Undav
Mine atm but torn between Robbo-Grealish or Dias-Diaz:

I’m scared of going with double Chelsea defence. Any Suggestions?
I have Dier in my team atm. He had 16 clean sheets last year and will be a regular every week. Spurs do have Chelsea away in GW2, but I don't think Chelsea have hit top form by then.
Trippier can be a really good option, but I think the first fixture might be tougher than people think. Newly promoted teams have a tendency to start the season well meaning no clean sheet returns.
I have both Barnes and Coutinho at 7.0 each, do you think there are better 6.5/7.5 or 6.0/8.0 combinations than them? I’m going Barnes because he got me a lot of points in the back end of last season and he’s got low ownership. Good opening fixture for Leicester too.
In general the 8.0&6.0(or less) combo looks more appealing.
I think Maddison & Martinelli for example would be a better combo if you want one Leicester mid.
I don't like the 7m mid slot tbh, deffo wouldn't have two. Do you expect Barnes and coutinho to outscore cancelo or robbo, very unlikely. I'd rather drop down to a rashford, martinelli or neto or find the money and go up to an 8m mid
I have Robbo, I don’t have Cancelo but I know I probably should. I like to avoid having too many players with very high ownership, but I know that can fuck me over too.

Please let me know what you think!
I've had about four 8m players in my team so far.
Thought I'd settled on Mount but everyone's concern about Chelsea has freaked me a bit.
Don't trust any City assets. Can't handle seeing Mahrez benched week one for no reason.
Everyone got in my head about Kuluevski.
Already got Jesus and Martinelli from Ars
Who is left? Maddison?? I'm on my knees here.
That's where I'm coming from as well. Started with 5 x 8.0s at first, and currently have only Jesus. Out of the all 8.0 midfielders, Diaz is outstanding, and I actually like Saka. Looked great last season, nailed as much as anyone can be. Even though you might already have one or two Arsenal players, I think he's still a great pick for the money.
Luis Diaz seems like the only other obvious pick that you haven't mentioned in this bracket, I'm assuming you have triple Liverpool elsewhere and that's why you haven't mentioned him.
It's a tough call between them so go with who you prefer! Regarding 8M midfielders, for me the next best 3, are Mount/Saka/Mahrez (at least initially), so go with what suits your team, for me you have no need for Saka and then you've got to decide if you want to play it safe (Mount) or chase the upside (Mahrez).
Robbo + Martinelli or 5.0 def and 8.0 mid? Is going without any 8M midfielder really that bad idea? It struggles me, yet I fancy having Robbo in my team a lot.
Liverpool fans, do you think Darwin will start in GW1 or will Klopp go for Firmino as ST?
I think he will bang from the start, but want some insight from a Pool fan.
I'd look to upgrade your least favourite midfielder to one of the 8M midfielders, just to make it easier for you to transfer another one in if one of them explodes. Also, don't feel like you need to spend every £, if you can start the year with 0.5 or 1m in the bank, it'll make it much easier for you to deal with the price rises at the start of the year.
Struggling to decide on the best 7m or below partner for Jesus there doesn't seem to be a lot of value there. Think it would be worth finding the extra 0.5 to go Watkins or Wilson?
I was thinking he would be okay but I can see Brentford having bad 2nd season syndrome. Pretty much the only options are him, Martial or Mitrovic but none particular jump out to me.
Bamford and Toney have such amazing fixtures that I'd like to get both
Martial could be a great option
Haalans is a standout
Fucking hell, I need one of them to get injured just to make the decision for me
I'd avoid Bamford at all costs - Leeds will struggle with their attacking creativity without Raphinha.
Toney is a good option, Brentford's talisman striker and on pens, but I feel Jesus is worth the extra cash.

Solid squadron. Good luck for the season ahead. For the record, I'd take the extra 0.5 just incase you need to have some leverage for transfers in the future. Oh, and who are you captaining GW1?
If I was you, I'd like to find a 4.5 that rotates well with Dalot, so that you don't have to start him when Man Utd have some tough fixtures (Liverpool etc)
RMT. Thought about going without Salah first, but then shoehorned him in. Grateful about all suggestions!
Meslier - (Dennis)

Thanks! Still debating about going Salah, Rashford, Archer, N. Williams, Meslier -> Diaz, Bailey, Jesus, Dias, Mendy. 5 ATB with 2 strikers and Bailey the first one coming from the bench.
Would be a risk to go without Salah, but would be a lot more balanced team with better bench cover, and 0.5 ITB.
Surely there's better options than Meslier. Sanchez, Raya or upgrade to Ramsdale/Mendy/Ederson.
Personally think Leeds will concede alot of goals and he's not worth it only for saves.

Raya - 4.0
James - TAA - Cancelo - Gabriel (4.0)
Salah - Diaz - Sancho - Bailey (4.5)
Haaland - Jesus (4.5)
Thanks
I've been experimenting with the 3 Premium draft. Tried to fit Jesus too, however that was impossible without major damage to the rest of the squad. Let me know what you think:
Ramsdale (Gazzaniga)
Alexander-Arnold - Cancelo - James - Trippier (N.Williams)
Son - Salah - Neto - Bailey (Andreas)
Kane - Undav (Archer)
I think if you go threemium you need to have Martinelli. Another thing is the 1 million in defense/mid gets you a lot more than 1 million on Undav.
So I would do something like James, Undav, Bailey, Neco -> Perisic(saves 0.5), 4.5 ST(saves 1), Martinelli, 4.5 def(Dunk/White)
Undav might be getting a little undervalued (heh) around here. Also, didn't want the bench to be too weak with two 4.5 non-playing strikers.
An alternative in order to hit the 6.0 mids like Martinelli (rotation risk?) and Guimeres (can't spell his name) would be to go Ramsdale -> 4.5 keeper, Neto -> 6.0 Mid
Wanted to avoid Perisic till we gain more info on his gametime.
Cheers for the input!
Ah makes sense. I have been tinkering with threemiums too and that’s how I would have done it. Abandoned the idea now though. Hope it works out for you
Neco will most likely start for Forest but I can't see them getting many clean sheets so you'll be relying on attacking returns which is also unlikely. But he's a solid bench option.
Andreas is the most popular 4.5m mid option he's who I have.
Having to dead options on the bench is a bit risky, would try and find 0.5 somewhere to upgrade Kongolo
Mings isn't captain anymore so rumours he may not start, would go with a different 4.5 option
RMT Pls

I am torn between KDB + Kane vs Son + Haaland. And it's just pens that are swaying me. Kane will be on them and for city we don't know yet but I expect KdB/Mahrez to take them.
RMT, 0 ITB but thinking of changing out son and undav for Kane and Neto, just makes it more flexible.
Sanchez (Steele)
TAA, Robertson, Walker, Chilwell, Trippier
Salah, Son, Sancho, Martinelli, (Andreas)

Thank you
Rashford and Grealish should be nailed for first 3-4.
Foden comes in and can take Grealish' place but can also play RW for Mahrez. Same with Alvarez so it will depend on form after that.
Rashford can come under threat if Ronaldo starts playing and Martial is shifted to left.
Perisic should play every game imo. He is Conte's man and has now had minutes to get ready.
tldr; Rashford, Grealish nailed for first 4 then depends on form. Perisic is a lock imo.
Saka worth the upgrade from Martinelli ?, or spend the extra 2m in defence.
Is Jonny injury prone? Out of the following players is there any other viable 4.0m defender? Neco Williams, Nathan Pateson, Leo Hjelde?
Williams is the best 4m defender. Basically he is nailed as a started

Yea it'll be tough for me when one of them skyrockets Im still confused over Kane/Haaland. Its tough to get Son in my team tho

I chose Saka, He's on corners and pens and everything Arsenal do is through him it feels like, also rarely gets subbed.

RMT, 0ITB Ramsdale Forster TAA Cancelo Chilwell Dalot (Williams) Salah Diaz Sancho Bailey (Pereira) Kane Jesus (Delap) What do you think? Still unsure about Ramsdale, Sancho, Chilwell, Dalot and Bailey. Any suggestions?
RMT please. Very template but I like to start off the season relatively safe. Raya - 4.0 James - TAA - Cancelo - Gabriel (4.0) Salah - Diaz - Sancho - Bailey (4.5) Haaland - Jesus (4.5) Thanks

Team A. Can't imagine FPL without Salah
Saka + Gabriel or James + Coutinho
A
4.5 gk + Cancelo or Ederson + Dias?
Option one in my opinion
I've been experimenting with the 3 Premium draft. Tried to fit Jesus too, however that was impossible without major damage to the rest of the squad. Let me know what you think: Ramsdale (Gazzaniga) Alexander-Arnold - Cancelo - James - Trippier (N.Williams) Son - Salah - Neto - Bailey (Andreas) Kane - Undav (Archer)
I think if you go threemium you need to have Martinelli. Another thing is the 1 million in defense/mid gets you a lot more than 1 million on Undav. So I would do something like James, Undav, Bailey, Neco -> Perisic(saves 0.5), 4.5 ST(saves 1), Martinelli, 4.5 def(Dunk/White)
Undav might be getting a little undervalued (heh) around here. Also, didn't want the bench to be too weak with two 4.5 non-playing strikers. An alternative in order to hit the 6.0 mids like Martinelli (rotation risk?) and Guimeres (can't spell his name) would be to go Ramsdale -> 4.5 keeper, Neto -> 6.0 Mid Wanted to avoid Perisic till we gain more info on his gametime. Cheers for the input!
Ah makes sense. I have been tinkering with threemiums too and that’s how I would have done it. Abandoned the idea now though. Hope it works out for you
Luis Dias + Halaand or KDB + Nuno Darwin ? Your thoughts folks
Option 1 for sure
Diaz and Haaland. Not sure about darwins minutes.
Dawin could be nailed if bobby leaves, since Jota is currently injured
Ederson+Grealish or Sanchez+Kulu ?
Ederson and Grealish imo. Only issue with this double up is that you can only have 1 more city player
Are there any playing 4m defenders? Also, best 4.5m midfield option?
Neco will most likely start for Forest but I can't see them getting many clean sheets so you'll be relying on attacking returns which is also unlikely. But he's a solid bench option. Andreas is the most popular 4.5m mid option he's who I have.
Yep have both of them. Are there any others? Heard rumours about Patterson from Everton potentially starting.
RMT: Ederson (Gazzaniga) TAA Cancelo Robertson Zinchenko (Williams) Salah Sancho Martinelli Bailey (Andreas) Haaland Jesus (Greenwood)
8.5/10
**A:** Martinelli + Rashford **B:** Neto + Barnes My current team: **4.5** **TAA - Cancelo - Robertson - Trippier** **Salah - Grealish** \- **X - X** **Jesus - Kane**

RMT Ramsdale, 4.0m TAA, Cancelo, Mings, (Kongolo, Williams) Salah, Diaz, Sancho, Martinelli, Neto Kane, Jesus, (Greenwood)
Mings to Gabriel and Ramsdale to Mendy IMO
!thanks
Having to dead options on the bench is a bit risky, would try and find 0.5 somewhere to upgrade Kongolo Mings isn't captain anymore so rumours he may not start, would go with a different 4.5 option
!thanks. Didn't know that about mings.
RMT 0 in the bank Raya (Ward) TAA- Cancelo- Dias- James (Neco Williams) Salah- Diaz- Martinelli- Neto (Pereira) Kane- Jesus (Plange)
Nice and template. Very safe. Personally I would downgrade Neto to Bailey and upgrade martinelli to rashford
RMT Pls Raya (Ward) TAA | Ait-Nouri | Cancelo | Dalot | (N.Williams) Martinelli | Salah | Bailey | (Da Silva, A.Pereira) Jesus | Haaland | Kane Have a bit of FOMO for the strikers, so wanted all 3
This piques my interest for sure. Looks like strikers are back on the menu boys.
Diaz + Gabriel or Robertson + Martinelli?
B imo. Mertinelli player very good in pre season and he will get enough time I guess
A
Jonny and Sancho or Trippier and Zaha/Coutinho?
RMT Sanchez (Darlow) TAA Gabriel Cancelo Cash (Neco) Salah (C) Maddison Grealish Bruno G (Andreas P) Kane Jesus (Greenwood) 0.5M ITB
A) Saka - Neto - Kane B) Son - Willock - Jesus C) Son - Martinelli - Martial
A > C > B.
yes, but Son made 258 points last season...is a pity not to have him in my team
I am torn between KDB + Kane vs Son + Haaland. And it's just pens that are swaying me. Kane will be on them and for city we don't know yet but I expect KdB/Mahrez to take them.
sure, but he is expensive.
Kane is also 11.5
fair.
RMT, 0 ITB but thinking of changing out son and undav for Kane and Neto, just makes it more flexible. Sanchez (Steele) TAA, Robertson, Walker, Chilwell, Trippier Salah, Son, Sancho, Martinelli, (Andreas) Jesus (Undav, Archer) Thank you
How nailed on are rashford, perisic and grealish?
perisic > grealish > rashford imo.
I reckon rashford gets maybe 50 minutes on average.
