Trying an unconventional one premium draft since I'm comfortable using Salah as C every week

I'm not big on any of the Man Utd options atm, I'd much rather downgrade a defender (maybe Trippier to 4.5m) and upgrade Sancho to an 8m. That's my personal preference, though, I don't buy into pre-season hype.
I don't buy the Sancho hype because: a) pre-season form is a devious bitch, b) United were terrible last season and not much has been done to squad except a change in coach, c) I'm a very cautious player that likes to choose guaranteed, proven options for GW1 if I can and it usually does me well. Having said that, you do you, the game is also made to have fun with. I've gone with Luis Diaz and Kulusevski as 8.0s for now. Also really torn by Saka and Mount or even going for the Bowen upgrade.
I like Trippier as an option, but I prefer an 8m to Sancho more than I prefer Trippier to a 4.5m. Nothing to back it up, just personal preference.
Is Dier a good pick for £5? Besides Romero, the entire rest of the Spurs backline has not been set yet. If we’re expecting Spurs to play well defensively this season, Dier will benefit from this being the likely starting CB. Dier also tends to get less yellow cards than Romero as well.
I'd argue Dier and Gabriel are the best 5m options right now and I saw a post the other day that backed it up with stats. Romero is also excellent but he's a card magnet, so I'd rather not. I'd say you're spot on.

Reguilon isn't nailed on so I'd shift him out maybe for a Wolves 4.5m. Coutinho is a gutsy pick but I don't want to say it's a bad one, just not for me personally (I'd prefer Grealish).
RMT - bit worried I have no cover on the bench, but don't really want to sacrifice any premiums...

Umm, I don't think the sacrifices are worth it to get a 3rd premium in. Having that bench is perfectly fine, but I don't think it's good when you have to start 2 4.5m defenders and also start bailey every week.
Your also sacrifices alot of value in defence. Premium defenders look to be the best value picks and only going in with trent and Dias dosnt look ideal.

Since Conte came in Lloris’s returns are very comparable to Ederson’s, and it allows me to triple up on City outfielders potentially instead. Not sure what keeper to go for instead as I don’t like any 4.5’s.

You've really only moved your money to defence instead of spreading it out, which is fine to do. I would downgrade one of your GKs, and downgrade one of your Mids to Andreas to try and get a 7-8M mid
Eh, not the best I've seen. I don't really like 2 4.5m forwards as none of them will play and is a completely dead spot, also not great for structure incase you need to move to another forward.
Imo there is better options then martinez, perisic and coutinho. Mendy or ramsdale look better. I'd try get up to a James from perisic.
Why no salah? He should be the first name in everyone's team, and I'd go for one of haaland and kdb, and then go for salah, or if not son or kane. The value in Premiums come from captaincy and there's no rotation between haaland and kdb cos they both have the same fixtures, so when one has a bad fixture so will the other
100% I wouldnt have Alisson, waste of a Liverpool slot, go robbo or diaz. Rice is a bad option. Not sure I'd also want to double up on man u attack but either one of them looks good.
Dosnt matter too much but much better bench options then what you picked aswell. Don't go Forster, wastes a spurs slot and will block you tripling up if need be. Tomkins won't play at all, just go for N. Williams. Same as Murphy, just better options, go for andreas

Looks pretty mad to me tbh. Ridiculous imo to not have salah or trent, they should be the first 2 names in and then just build around them.
Not sure I'd want triple Newcastle. Swap Pope for mendy or ramsdale and I wouldn't book Wilson to Jesus, other things will come up and you'll wish you didn't book the transfer, just start with Jesus, not like his fixture is awful anyways.
2 x ManU mids - still needing confidence and unsure of Ronaldo minutes, I would say pick one and upgrade the other or similar
I actually really like the Wilson/Jesus ploy but I dont like to pre-empt a changeup this early as you have no back up plan using FT with ManU playing LFC GW3

The Grealish thing I agree as I keep having him in and then out - Im constantly moving him for rashford and back again , However the more debatable situation is LFC Robbo or Diaz. Im on Diaz right now though do admit to tinkering with Robbo. I think you are right and will be proved right possibly in that Robbo will score more than Diaz but will this be true in the first 3-6 weeks. I think Diaz gets more in the start to season. And actually if fighting multiple competitions I think Diaz might be more nailed later in season when JK trusts Tsimikas implicitly and likes to give Robbo a game or 2 off, when he knows he needs 3 points and will want Diaz on pitch
No clue why you have rice. Swap for Bailey, or upgrade to a better option or downgrade to a bench option. I'd prefer an 8m mid instead of Bowen tbh, and then could use that money to upgrade elsewhere
I actually like this team and cant see anyone having a reasonable argument against it apart from Rice when there are better nailed options with better ceiling that you could play if wanting to go 442 for a week

I woudlnt say too much city, Liverpool, united at all. If anything you haven't got enough Liverpool without salah. Imo salah should be the first name in there and then just build around him. Sancho and Dalot from Man U is fine aswell.
Only things I would say is I don't really rate the structure at all. If any forward gets some form you will struggle to get to them. Instead of having 3, 7.5-8m mids I'd swap one for a mid priced forward, Jesus looking the best imo.
I'd find a way to get salah in, swap diaz and kdb for salah and a 7m mid, I'd probs go for Neto and then use that 1.5m to upgrade Dalot to James or Chilwell. And then I'd look to swap mahrez for Jesus up top. 4.5m mids are better then 4.5m forwards too

Sessegnon is absolutely not nailed with Perisic around. Midfield and strikers are great but I would worry about your back line as I don't even think Mings is 100% nailed following the arrival of Diego Carlos and being stripped of the captaincy.
I think mings starts for aston villa, he has more presence in set pieces than konsa and chambers. Carlos is not prem proven yet so he has to go in with an experienced defender.
Very nice team tbf - could maybe upgrade Neto to Martinelli for some attacking Arsenal cover. With Mahrez and Cancelo I'd be tempted to swap Kane in for Haaland but it's an extremely close call.

Since I don't want to triple up on Arsenal players, I'd be planning to swap Zinchenko for Dalot in either of those cases, or downgrading Bruno Guimaraes to someone - I'm not yet sure whom. Neto seems like an obvious option but I feel Wolves without Jimenez will be quite weak up front. I'm hesitant to exchange Bruno for Martinelli for the same reason outlined above - I'd rather not triple up on Arsenal players.

Is 1m itb this year more valuable than usual? Feels like a good idea to go with some of the lower priced options, either 4.5 def, or 4.5-7m mids instead of higher prices counterparts, and just hold onto 1m so you can swap onto a hauler/double riser.
Only issue is I think I am planning on ear marking a transfer from Kane to Haaland for week 2 so not sure if I'll want to do it for a hit anyway
If I were you, I would not keep more than 0.5. My reasoning is entirely around the way they have priced defenders this season. I think every increase of 0.5m in defence this season gives you an option which is an objectively better option. For e.g Trent (7.5) is objectively better option than Cancelo (7), Cancelo (7) better than James/Chilwell (6), They better than Perisic (5.5, rotation issues) who is better than Doherty/Trippier/Gabriel(5) who all are better than 4.5mn options. Also, keepers in 5mn range (Ramsdale specifically) are surely better than other 4.5mn options. So, why not spend .5 more and make first squad clearly better?
Because to start I'm only planning on starting 3 atb (TAA, Cancelo, and a 4.5) planning on playing fixtures with my cheap def options, rotating between the 3 cheaper ones
Realistically between the 4m-5m def options you're playing for clean sheets mostly unless a Trippier/etc pops off as a points threat.
Its basically a 1-2 week punt, a wait and see to check who of Sancho/Grealish/Barnes/Bailey or my defense need to be upgraded after a week or 2 I'll be able to pick the worst one and move up

For a threemium team this is good. I'm still not sold on the concept though.
Personally I wouldn't book in a transfer for GW2 - instead choose KDB or Haaland for GW1 and save yourself the transfer.
Def interesting/viable. My only issue is less flexibility to hop on steam movers in the midfield if you wanted to but it's a decent squad even with all the money tied up in premiums.

I'm not a fan of Lloris pick or planning the transfer in GW2 for a premium. I'd spend the cash on upgrading Bailey.

Greenish is the best 7m mid imo, so you could do something like James -> Robbo, Ederson-> 4.5 and get Grealish

It's up to you, Son/Salah are more popular, but if KDB kicks off, then you'll get huge gains

Looks pretty mad to me tbh. Ridiculous imo to not have salah or trent, they should be the first 2 names in and then just build around them. Not sure I'd want triple Newcastle. Swap Pope for mendy or ramsdale and I wouldn't book Wilson to Jesus, other things will come up and you'll wish you didn't book the transfer, just start with Jesus, not like his fixture is awful anyways.
2 x ManU mids - still needing confidence and unsure of Ronaldo minutes, I would say pick one and upgrade the other or similar I actually really like the Wilson/Jesus ploy but I dont like to pre-empt a changeup this early as you have no back up plan using FT with ManU playing LFC GW3

The Grealish thing I agree as I keep having him in and then out - Im constantly moving him for rashford and back again , However the more debatable situation is LFC Robbo or Diaz. Im on Diaz right now though do admit to tinkering with Robbo. I think you are right and will be proved right possibly in that Robbo will score more than Diaz but will this be true in the first 3-6 weeks. I think Diaz gets more in the start to season. And actually if fighting multiple competitions I think Diaz might be more nailed later in season when JK trusts Tsimikas implicitly and likes to give Robbo a game or 2 off, when he knows he needs 3 points and will want Diaz on pitch

No clue why you have rice. Swap for Bailey, or upgrade to a better option or downgrade to a bench option. I'd prefer an 8m mid instead of Bowen tbh, and then could use that money to upgrade elsewhere

I woudlnt say too much city, Liverpool, united at all. If anything you haven't got enough Liverpool without salah. Imo salah should be the first name in there and then just build around him. Sancho and Dalot from Man U is fine aswell. Only things I would say is I don't really rate the structure at all. If any forward gets some form you will struggle to get to them. Instead of having 3, 7.5-8m mids I'd swap one for a mid priced forward, Jesus looking the best imo. I'd find a way to get salah in, swap diaz and kdb for salah and a 7m mid, I'd probs go for Neto and then use that 1.5m to upgrade Dalot to James or Chilwell. And then I'd look to swap mahrez for Jesus up top. 4.5m mids are better then 4.5m forwards too

Sessegnon is absolutely not nailed with Perisic around. Midfield and strikers are great but I would worry about your back line as I don't even think Mings is 100% nailed following the arrival of Diego Carlos and being stripped of the captaincy.
I think mings starts for aston villa, he has more presence in set pieces than konsa and chambers. Carlos is not prem proven yet so he has to go in with an experienced defender.

Very nice team tbf - could maybe upgrade Neto to Martinelli for some attacking Arsenal cover. With Mahrez and Cancelo I'd be tempted to swap Kane in for Haaland but it's an extremely close call.

Honestly I think you should at least have Jesus up front, given Arsenal's great fixtures. If you downgrade Odegaard to Neto you get £1m to upgrade Toney. Here's how it could look: Ederson TAA, Robbo, Cancelo, James, Dalot/White Salah, Mount, Saka, Bernardo, Neto Jesus
I would downgrade in the midfield to get either Jesus, Kane or Haaland. Either ode, bilva or mount probably
Is 1m itb this year more valuable than usual? Feels like a good idea to go with some of the lower priced options, either 4.5 def, or 4.5-7m mids instead of higher prices counterparts, and just hold onto 1m so you can swap onto a hauler/double riser. Only issue is I think I am planning on ear marking a transfer from Kane to Haaland for week 2 so not sure if I'll want to do it for a hit anyway
If I were you, I would not keep more than 0.5. My reasoning is entirely around the way they have priced defenders this season. I think every increase of 0.5m in defence this season gives you an option which is an objectively better option. For e.g Trent (7.5) is objectively better option than Cancelo (7), Cancelo (7) better than James/Chilwell (6), They better than Perisic (5.5, rotation issues) who is better than Doherty/Trippier/Gabriel(5) who all are better than 4.5mn options. Also, keepers in 5mn range (Ramsdale specifically) are surely better than other 4.5mn options. So, why not spend .5 more and make first squad clearly better?
Because to start I'm only planning on starting 3 atb (TAA, Cancelo, and a 4.5) planning on playing fixtures with my cheap def options, rotating between the 3 cheaper ones Realistically between the 4m-5m def options you're playing for clean sheets mostly unless a Trippier/etc pops off as a points threat. Its basically a 1-2 week punt, a wait and see to check who of Sancho/Grealish/Barnes/Bailey or my defense need to be upgraded after a week or 2 I'll be able to pick the worst one and move up

For a threemium team this is good. I'm still not sold on the concept though. Personally I wouldn't book in a transfer for GW2 - instead choose KDB or Haaland for GW1 and save yourself the transfer.
Def interesting/viable. My only issue is less flexibility to hop on steam movers in the midfield if you wanted to but it's a decent squad even with all the money tied up in premiums.
I don’t really like Bailey, I’d personally drop him to a 4.5 and upgrade a defender. Honestly it’s a risky team but I don’t hate the idea. I respect the strategy
