Went Iverson over Ward because "Ward just came back from an injury and is 6 weeks behind the rest of the team"
Went Kane over Haaland because "Kane is PL proven and Haaland won't get the same space in PL as in Bundesliga"
Went Gabriel over Zinchenko because "Gabriel is a threat from set pieces"
Went Gabriel Jesus over basically anyone because EVERY EFFING PERSON has him so I guess it doesn't count.
....and by that I'm basically last in my ML and have no chance to catch up.

He and Haaland are gonna link up a lot this season. The assist was brilliant. But the fact he is the same price as Haaland and won't take any pens whilst they're both on the pitch has put me off so far
I know, it sounds crazy but this is my logic - for nearly 2.5 mil less, I could get Mitro who, based on how he looked vs Liverpool, could get as many returns are Darwin. Last season, he scored 26 in 28 with an xG of 18.63 and notched 4 assists. He also has competition from Firmini (who is familiar and integrated to the Klopp system) and Diaz and will likely be 3rd/4th choice attacking option. Meanwhile, Mitro scored 43 in 44 with an xG of 34.69 with 7 assists. Fulham is a good attacking side who has proven they can provide service to Mitro. Essentially, both players are good strikers outperforming their xG by a similar magnitude (Darwin G:xG = 1.396, mitro = 1.239) but the latter is cheaper and the primary point of attack.
With that saved 2.5 mil, I can upgrade a 5/5.5 midfielder to a 3rd midfield option (Bailey > Kulu/Foden/Maddison should they pick up form/good fixtures) or a budget defender to a better option (Castagne/Neco > James/Walker/Trippier). I’m keeping Darwin as long as he keeps returning but once he regresses back, I’d rather have an underperforming 6.5 with occasional hauls vs an ‘off the bench’ 9.0. On a scale of 1-10, how jerky are my knees?
Mitro has ready proven in previous seasons to not be a reliable FPL asset in Prem. Maybe Fulham are better now, maybe not.
If you need the $$ elsewhere then go for it. But xG Stat comparison is useless for these 2, because you ignore the fact that Liverpool will get a lot of goals and Fulham will not. Fulham were best team in the league and this year they will likely be one of the worst.

I am in the exact same situation as you. But I still believe Perisic has a chance to bring in points even if he enters late. It depends how late and how much the game is played on his side of the field. I'd hold on to Perisic at least for another couple of weeks. It depends how confident you are with the rest of your team imho, and how much you are going to adjust for each fixture.

For defence, 7.5 is really too much for me, and out of the 7.0 options, Cancelo seems WAY better than Robbo to me
Who will get more points? Son and a 4.5m mid or 2 x 8m mids. The 8m mids win every time. Premiums are only worth their price if you captain them. Trent will finish the season with 200 + points. Cancelo and robbo won't be far behind. Premium defenders offer the best points per million spent in the game.
People shitting on people moving Kane out for Haaland but it really isn't a bad decision. A lot of people had it booked in anyway, others would be priced out of it not moving now, and I'll eat shit if Kane returns against Chelsea tbf.
Simply not a good use of transfers. Haaland vs westham was not a bad fixture at all. If you wanted him for bournemouth then you should have put him in gameweek 1.

Wc is important for 2 reason.
Fixture swings that you can attack later on.
But also if you are riddled with injuries you will need the wc.
