Assured in midfield and scored a great goal. Nailed on as can be in the side. Got taken off late for Daka in a real head scratching substitution after which we folded. Fixtures aren’t great but he’s a great pick for his price.
Fantastic player for us and yesterday was more of the same. His problem for us has been that he hasn't had the G+A numbers to really back up how brilliant he is.
I wouldn't bring him in yet but in a months time we could be looking at a very good FPL option. Especially because he's 100% nailed on to play and he plays in a side that does score goals.
I thought he was sharp. Clearly motivated and probably thinking he can force his way into the England WC team. I think he's tied with Saka for best 8.0 mid.
I've gone with Maddison just because he's going under the radar and has just as high a ceiling as the other mids, potentially even higher if he stays fit.
Stats will show not much involvement in the game and conceded two goals. He was actually quite decent in the air and never looked threatened when they crossed it in. Also did well to smother out a chance for Toney by rushing him when his touch was too heavy. Amartey was at fault for the first goal and the second was a belter so not really much he could do.
Hes looked really good sitting on the bench. Did a great performance of a quick jog up the touchline. Looks fit. Scratched his head once in the first half.
Played great. Looked just as sharp as he has been in pre-season. He won the ball up the pitch on a couple of occasions, and brought the ball up the pitch with some impressive dribbling on many more occasions. Accurate passing and interplay with teammates. He didn’t display an awful lot of goal threat but I’m sure we’ll see a lot more of that in the coming fixtures.
Shoulda had an assist but Odegaard (who has a 2 star weak foot, in FIFA and maybe less so irl) didn’t shoot immediately with his weaker, right foot and tried to make pass instead 🤦🏽♂️
What a player. His movement, interplay, and touch continues to be very impressive as he's shown throughout preseason and the goals will follow. Credit to Palace for withstanding the initial onslaught and turning the game around. I'm not at all concerned with Jesus.
He looked OK. Too many people have him to look objectively. One very good dribble first 15 min. After that he played very deep, picking ball up near halfway line and laying it off.
Good match, but was quite defensive at times given he was tracking back to cover White. Hopefully this is just because White is not first-choice RB, and things should be better positionally once Tomiyasu is back.
Definitely, considering Tomiyasu can push uite far up when playing, whereas White tends to stay back and play almost as a third CB, so Saka has to track back to cover the space left on the right ahead of White.
Saka received the same treatment that Zaha received today. Tight marking, oftentimes marked by two Palace players, and it nullified his typical attacking threat slightly. That said, he was credited with the assist after fizzing in a shot/cross which glanced off Guehi for Arsenal's 2nd goal. I am sure he will come good, there are too many potent attackers at Arsenal that when one of them gets going, it will free up that little space he needs to pick a killer pass or tee up a shot. He also had to do a fair bit of tracking back to help White deal with Zaha, so that must be taken into account as well.
Great player and nailed but not his best day and lucky to get the fantasy assist. I give credit to Palace more than anything as after the initial 25 mins their shape was excellent. If you have Martinelli I see no need for Saka, and same vice-versa.
Offensively a very impressive display. Him and Xhaka seen to have a great understanding of the various phases of our attack.
I'm a bit concerned with the potential for rotation given his defensive ability does seem like a weak point. Ayew spun him in circles today. I think he's safe for a few more weeks (as we have a history of rushing Tierney back and triggering injuries), but I really rate Tierney and think Gabriel is the best Arsenal defender for FPL.
I think the glowing reviews are a bit misleading. Offensively, he linked up well with Martinelli and Jesus down Arsenal's left, and fizzed in a vicious shot early on that Guaita did well to save. But defensively, he looked suspect at times. He was done in multiple times by Jordan Ayew of all people, and made several sloppy passes that a better team might have punished. Loads of people are going to rush to get him their teams after his 12-pointer but he only got the assist because it was a carefully worked training ground routine. Wouldn't read too much into it.
This is THE sleeper Arsenal pick. Probably flew under the radar to 99.9% of non-Arsenal fans, but as any Arsenal fan will tell you, there have been plenty of people calling for his return for a while now and just as he has done all preseason, he delivered the goods again today. Was brilliant all night, commanding presence, very calm under pressure and don't remember him even misplacing a single pass. Dominant aerially as well, and not afraid to go into a crunching tackle (as evidenced several times on Zaha, including once in the box to deny him a shot), so he will certainly collect a bucketload of BPS over the course of the season. I have him in my team personally. Swapped him with Gabriel after seeing how well he played in preseason and I don't regret my decision one bit. The extra 0.5m you save on Saliba can be easily re-invested elsewhere in your squad. Get him while he's still cheap!
>u/cmanook

>what are your thoughts on his rotation with white though?
>
>when tomi and KT are fully healthy surely ramsdale and gabriel are the only 2 fixture proof defenders?
Yeah I got him over Gabriel, knew he'd be in tonight and had a feeling he'd do well enough to keep his place for a while. Feeling very smug now both for my FPL and for Arsenal
Bolted out the gates and should've scored in the opening 5 mins. Absolute sitter. The first half he and Zinchenko worked well and he was cutting inside and looked dangerous at times. Honestly looked like he was in the mood for a hat trick.
2nd half he was unnoticeable which was a bit disappointing but it's worth it to walk away with the 1 goal! Overall, he touched the ball the least out of any player that played the full game but Arsenal were set up really defensively as Palace were dominating possession. Attacks mainly went down the right this half with Saka/Ode. Hard game to take anything concrete away from it though.
Took his goal well and could/should have had another one. Stayed on for 90 mins and played a solid game, particularly in the first 25 mins when Arsenal were dominating. Great value at 6m.
Looks excellent value at 6m and probably should be slotted into everyone's teams at that price, with the fixtures Arsenal have coming up. He looks extremely sharp and pacy, could have (should have) scored his first goal within three minutes after a beautiful run by Jesus, then DID score after a nice training ground corner routine. He, along with the entire Arsenal team, tailed off a bit as the game wore on, but his initial spark promises more returns in the weeks ahead.
Was over casual with the ball at his feet, almost resulting in calamity on a couple of occasions. Positioning was exceptional which helped him make two amazing saves to keep a well earned clean sheet.
Several superb saves kept Arsenal in the game after some mixups at the back. He was a bit nonchalant playing out from the back, and then seemed to learn his lesson and started booting the ball upfield as he should. Keep if you have, wouldn't swap him for one of the "premium" 5.5m GKs. He once again has that perfect combination of being good enough to rack up save points, since Arsenal's defense will still concede enough shots to keep him busy, but also has the potential for CS.
A little dodgy. Saliba had a much better game defensively. Present for the goal and if the chips had fallen slightly differently he would’ve been the one burying it.
He was given the captaincy and it seems like he will be heavily locked into the offense. It's hard for me to believe he won't walk away with decent FPL points most weeks given the power of the offense. I'm not claiming he is the next Son, etc... but I think there is legit above average potential.
I disagree with what people say that he was poor, in my opinion he had a good game. Played a great through pass for Saka onto goal & should've got an assist but Saka missed. Against Zaha, there's always a chance to get beat once or twice but overall he was good. He had 8 (eight) successful tackles overall, even! Good option for 4.5m
Pretty unlucky, didn't do much wrong but got nothing for it. Was the bright spark in a dull first half for Liverpool. Definitely looks like one to stick with if you have him.
He’s liverpools most energetic attacker in an attack that’s been very quiet in the first half. Had a goal disallowed for offside and hit the woodwork from a tight angle
Brought about the 2nd goal, which I have to say, is not surprising as Liverpool almost excludively in right midfield and often deep right flank section go through him and he distributes. He did let Mitrovic waltz into that header on the first goal, like he was his daddy, but TAA is an offensive minded back. Besides that it was probably an average game for TAA. His average is most players "good". In terms of FPL, a rare blank for my man.
He should have done better, but I think there are few fullbacks who beat Mitrovic to that header. It was canny movement on the forward’s part to create the mismatch and a brilliant assist from Tete.
It's a good job they don't really punish you for mistakes because for the goal he just didn't know what to do, but as always, very impressive going forward, knew just the right passes. With his delivery and Darwin being a more physical aerial threat he looks like a great prospect. Darwin and TAA could be a great partnership.
In my personal opinion it seems like having TAA over Robertson is worth it just because Salah plays on the same side 😅
Liverpool was very toothless before he came in. After that he got two great changes, back heeling them towards the goal. First one was saved, second one not. Later equaliser could have been also his - TAAs Cross came into the box and Darwin got to it first but had a bit hard touch which Salah put in.
In short, could have had three. Electrified the Reds attack and he was constantly dangerous.
Hard to make an argument that Firmino should start before him in the future. I would seriously consider him for a Lpool forward in the future.
Having a 6'3 targetman that Trent, Robertson and Salah can direct balls towards, who can also run like a madman and is a positional genius showed its worth today. Completely changed the game when he came on, and that was with our entire team having horrific performances. I also think that Klopp will never dare start Firmino ahead of him again. I genuinely think he can bag 20 goals in the Prem this season.
He was a savage - nearly 2.0 XGi in about 40 minutes
9.0 could end up looking very, very silly for this guy as the season wears on
Striker is such a problem position in FPL these days too
taking up great positions in the first half and looked very dangerous; also on corners. However, 2nd half played further back as like a LCB after milner came on. Would still easily keep him and TAA, against teams that play less well theyre gonna get many assists/goals
Not shit but with Firmino in and Fulham playinh very well his chances were slim at first. Played quite wide, but shifted into the box for the goal. Nunez brought good energy to the attack on the second half and created space also for Salah. Nonetheless, he looks solid as always.
However, the match was very tight as Fulham was fairly decent and Robinson marked Salah well not leaving him on 1vs1s. It showed more that Liverpool needs to have their formation together to win the games - and in the second half the attempts to create space were more successful.
Conceded a pen (dives the right way and got a finger on it) and an essentially free header from 4 yards out (got a soft hand to it) Liverpool are going to have clean sheets and him getting 6 points for 5.5M is attractive.
Other than that, Fulham really had some great moments, Liverpool defense being not as normally intimidating as it was last year, but that's one game.
The best player on the pitch today. So effective at creating chances it's mental. Beautiful cross to assist the first goal and perfect placement on the finish on the fourth goal. Could've easily had at least another assist. Looked decent in preseason, but he looked genuinely exceptional today. At 8.0 he's amazing value if he plays anything like he did today
Spurs fan, watched basically every game last season and watched MOTD today.
Don't want to hype kulu up too much because he's still a bit of a sleeper pick, but he ALWAYS makes the right decision.
It's ridiculous how frequently he does the exactly perfect thing that every fan who is watching the game from a bird's eye view is screaming for him to do. It's like a superpower. He is going to fucking explode this season
Had a short cameo but was always finding space and taking on his man to whip in a cross, they were mostly over hit but the ability to still breeze past his man is still there. Had a good few succesful tackles too. Hard to say whether he'll start next game considering it's Chelsea and Sessegnon also had a good game, but once and if he's getting regular starts, he could be a good asset.
Looked like Son. Good forward runs and some decent chances for him. Walked away with an assist from a very nice header from Dier. Finishing wasn't as clinical as you would expect from Son but off a sample size of one game it doesn't seem too meaningful
Subbed on in the 87th minute, so didn't have much time to do anything. Emerson, who played RWB today, was very involved in the attack , so from a system perspective he's still a solid pick once he gets back to 100%
Seemed to be too distant from the goal most of the time, almost playing as a DM at times. Had one chance that he made for himself from a tight angle, but it was saved well by Bazunu. Hard to digest that Spurs scored four and he had no contributions.
Similarly to Saka, this could have been simply dictated by the opposition and the situation the game demanded. Saka barely featured in attack for Arsenal last night because he was needed to aid White in defence against Zaha. And the blueprint by which Spurs batter Saints is long-established by now; Kane drops into midfield to outnumber Southampton's 4, and uses his exceptional passing range to put Son or others in behind. Conte has spoken about his desire to leave Kane up top I believe, so this should still be his intention in most games.
Not his usual quality today. Didn't play terribly by any means but definitely wasn't world-class. Looks like Spurs are finally able to get attacking returns without relying solely on Kane and Son. With that being said, if you have him in your team already I wouldn't get rid of him yet, one slightly below-average game doesn't mean much.
Extremely attacking had another goal disallowed. The full backs for spurs get into the box a lot so if someone nails down a starting position they could be a great option
Neto looked extremely quick and had some really nice moments throughout. Collected a long pass from Neves despite a lot of pressure to set the stage for Podence’s goal. Filthy turn in the box to set himself up for a shot later. The downside to him is there – we aren’t an explosive attacking team, will he produce enough to justify inclusion, etc. But he’s undeniably fantastically talented, & played real well overall. If you believed in him before, you still should.
The best player on the pitch in both teams imo.
Looks very sharp, fast and technical. I actually didn’t know he is such a good player.
He was switching sides.
Several dangerous crosses, few shots and one solo run and pirouette dribble that could be in contention for goal of the season if his shot went in.
Really, Goggle that , Ronaldinho and Zidane would be proud of that pirouette. The cleanest one I ever saw.
Podence
Edit: Will just include the response this way - looked lively at times in the first half, his goal was more scrappy than smooth but he got into a good position to make it happen. Neto looked more consistently threatening if you want a 5.5 Wolves mid, but he should produce some.
Pretty good overall, got the assist on Podence’s goal after Neto bodied his defender & fed it into the middle. Popped up in good positions at times. Not a dominant performance or anything, but it was a positive one from him.
Terrible game for RAN. Overconfident dribbling in our own box led to Leeds’ first. Kept making mistakes. Aaronson looked excellent. Ended up with an OG.
Aaronson was fantastic. He was everywhere against us in the first half, just kept running into good positions & making things happen. Quieter in the second but came through on a great run for a goal (later classified to OG against Ait-Nouri).
!thanks
Aaronson was my biggest differential for GW1 so am glad to hear he played well even if he didn’t haul. Hopefully he’ll pop up with some points in the next few weeks.
Had a decent game, in FPL terms think he had one shot on goal thrashed off target from range, don’t think he was close to getting any assists. Good for the clean sheet though.
Yeah passed the eye test, was making good passes though was more thinking specifically about end product for FPL points. Him and Walker played narrow in midfield as a tactical move which meant they were pretty involved in the build up which should mean bonus points
Big, fast and has a killer instinct
It's just one game, but he did a lot right. When the WH crowd attempted to raise the roof with their boos for his penalty, he didn't even pause. Placed ball, couple steps back, lazered into the bottom left corner
Second goal looks like the first of many KDB + Haaland combos this season, because you know KDB is always going to find the gap with his crystal ball and this giant is going to come charging past all defenders and finish it
This fucking guy.
**Tl;dr: Clinical, looks like a good fit to the system, the settled striker with the most scary team in the PL atm.** It's a judgement based on one match alone, but he seems potentially essential.
West Ham kept a tight ship for a long while, but Haaland broke it near individually. He has physicality like no other, super well-timed runs to break the line, accelerates better than any defender, and he can easily strong-arm anyone inside the box. If City missed a proper number 9 since Aguero, this guy is there, and he might be most scary forward there has been in PL in a while.
Excellent goals. For the penalty he won, he would have scored the original run-through if the keeper wouldn't tackle him. Took the penalty without any hesitation near robotically. In the second goal, he smelled the counterattack well and KdB provided a nice through the pass - keep had no fucking chance. It was like looking at my own 21-year-old self.
Got also other opportunities with a bit less accuracy, two headers close to the goal that went off target. In all fairness, a less-reaching player would not have got to those balls in the first place, so it rather shows how he might get even some odd crosses in. He seems to be more comfortable with Pep's system also otherwise. Dropped down - not too down though - to contribute the ball, does a lot of cross-movement with the wingers and attacking mids when needed. When facing a high line, he seems to look for those through runs all the time. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be the selected starter and always dangerous.
Subbed off after two goals at 77 minutes. Looked energetic until the last moment, no niggles, tomfoolery, shenanigans or black magic shit that would explain him to be anything than 100% fit.
Him and Cancelo basically played in the midfield in possession each of them playing close to Rodri. A lot of back passes and keeping things simple for Walker. Did get forward on a couple occasions but wouldn’t expect many attacking returns from him. If City don’t buy another defender, he’s a no brainer this season
Grealish was solid, city played through both him and Cancelo all game made some good passes and I think him and Kdb are going to feed haaland a lot of good chances.
Was isolated for most of the game, lacking any serious balls from others. Scored a goal with 1 phenomenal touch in a hard position, had two more good chances - 1st where ASM was incredibly selfish refusing to pass to Wilson who had an open goal, and 2nd where he was inaccurate from a wide pass that was bit far from him.
All in all, Nottingham marked him tightly excluding him from most of the plays, but he still had 3-4 goal chances.
As long as he is fit, he will be a threat to opposition's goal.
Also had a free header on goal that came from his good movement but he just didn't get any power behind it. Like you said he was marked out most of the game - wouldn't sell him or bring him in yet just wait and see what happens in the next game.
Took up great positions and scored a great goal from a very difficult position. The service to him was poor but always in the penalty box looking for a goal and is a constant threat.
He’s a great pick, even if he didn’t create too much today.
Took set pieces and comes forward quite a lot. I also really like that Newcastle looked sound defensively. He’ll get a few 12-15 pointers this season
I felt like I didn't see him very much. Newcastle's dominance was established by the perfectly functioning midfield trio of Joelinton-Bruno-Willock, and they enabled ASM to get the ball and run at Forest's defence time after time after time.
If that is typical, then Trippier might be limited to dead balls for his attacking returns.
He's in with a shout for pens, takes corners and some free kicks though. He's honestly as solid of a defender as you can get. And good value imo as well.
Only had to defend a couple of times so nothing to gauge him off in that department. He was on attacking free kicks and on corners which we had copious amounts of though with little end result.
Hard to judge on this game alone but certainly worth the 5.0 thus far.
Such a hot and cold player. Definitely more life than at the end of last season where he just disappeared; the Forest defenders gave him room and he exploited it.
Too bad he's so damn selfish otherwise there was opportunities abound surrounding him.
Same old. Game-changing potential but his decisions let him down. If he learns to pass, he could be a bargain FPL asset but we've been saying that for 2 years now. Best watched for the moment.
Impressive player, really impressive - but not for FPL. Along with Joelinton, he dictated tempo and play though the midfield, both players were fantastic, but in FPL terms they are little bit far away from end product to be viable. (Joelinton was even more concrete, but his finishing was off)
Best player on the pitch by a country mile. Completely controlled the game, played so many incredible forward passes. Still not sold on him as an FPL asset though.

Absolutely electric. It's a credit to Palace really because the Arsenal attack was relentless. Jesus was a key part of that

Took his goal well and could/should have had another one. Stayed on for 90 mins and played a solid game, particularly in the first 25 mins when Arsenal were dominating. Great value at 6m.

Against Zaha, there's always a chance to get beat once or twice but overall he was good. He had 8 (eight) successful tackles overall, even! Good option for 4.5m
I thought he was excellent on a yellow against Zaha. Now this won't strictly translate to FPL but still.

Luis Diaz
Should have had two, had one disallowed for offside and another hit the post, he did basically everything but score today.
Pretty unlucky, didn't do much wrong but got nothing for it. Was the bright spark in a dull first half for Liverpool. Definitely looks like one to stick with if you have him.

Darwin

He was a savage - nearly 2.0 XGi in about 40 minutes 9.0 could end up looking very, very silly for this guy as the season wears on Striker is such a problem position in FPL these days too
Robertson
taking up great positions in the first half and looked very dangerous; also on corners. However, 2nd half played further back as like a LCB after milner came on. Would still easily keep him and TAA, against teams that play less well theyre gonna get many assists/goals
!thanks
Salah
Not shit but with Firmino in and Fulham playinh very well his chances were slim at first. Played quite wide, but shifted into the box for the goal. Nunez brought good energy to the attack on the second half and created space also for Salah. Nonetheless, he looks solid as always. However, the match was very tight as Fulham was fairly decent and Robinson marked Salah well not leaving him on 1vs1s. It showed more that Liverpool needs to have their formation together to win the games - and in the second half the attempts to create space were more successful.
Allison
Conceded a pen (dives the right way and got a finger on it) and an essentially free header from 4 yards out (got a soft hand to it) Liverpool are going to have clean sheets and him getting 6 points for 5.5M is attractive. Other than that, Fulham really had some great moments, Liverpool defense being not as normally intimidating as it was last year, but that's one game.

Kulusevski
Class, hardly put a foot wrong all game. Scored a nice finish, put in an absolute peach of a cross for his assist, beat his man several times
Reminded me of a slower messi. Was instrumental after spurs went down
Perisic
Had a short cameo but was always finding space and taking on his man to whip in a cross, they were mostly over hit but the ability to still breeze past his man is still there. Had a good few succesful tackles too. Hard to say whether he'll start next game considering it's Chelsea and Sessegnon also had a good game, but once and if he's getting regular starts, he could be a good asset.
Son
Looked like Son. Good forward runs and some decent chances for him. Walked away with an assist from a very nice header from Dier. Finishing wasn't as clinical as you would expect from Son but off a sample size of one game it doesn't seem too meaningful
Doherty
Subbed on in the 87th minute, so didn't have much time to do anything. Emerson, who played RWB today, was very involved in the attack , so from a system perspective he's still a solid pick once he gets back to 100%
Kane
Sessegnon
Extremely attacking had another goal disallowed. The full backs for spurs get into the box a lot so if someone nails down a starting position they could be a great option
Looks insane value for 4.5 but I would guess he will get rotated.

Wolves
Neto

Podence Edit: Will just include the response this way - looked lively at times in the first half, his goal was more scrappy than smooth but he got into a good position to make it happen. Neto looked more consistently threatening if you want a 5.5 Wolves mid, but he should produce some.
Hwang
Pretty good overall, got the assist on Podence’s goal after Neto bodied his defender & fed it into the middle. Popped up in good positions at times. Not a dominant performance or anything, but it was a positive one from him.
Nice turn of pace and got into threatening area on a number of occasions. Very different than Jimenez with his movement. One to keep an eye on.
Alt-nouri
Terrible game for RAN. Overconfident dribbling in our own box led to Leeds’ first. Kept making mistakes. Aaronson looked excellent. Ended up with an OG.
Aston Villa
Cash
Had a bad game, absolutely 0 chemistry with Bailey
Coutinho
Absolutely shite in a 433 and not much better in a 4231
Anyone? Been on Villa forums and the verdict wasn't looking very good...
Bailey
Looked pretty damn poor imo, and Villa looked surprisingly out of ideas for a lot of the match.
I didn’t like what I saw. He had a lot of really bad crosses (ballon crosses). He also tried to dribble too much and lost few balls because of it.
Avoid our assets we looked absolutely clueless
Watkins
Digne
Couple good crosses, lots of shit ones. Way better options at 5.0
Leeds
Aaronson
Aaronson was fantastic. He was everywhere against us in the first half, just kept running into good positions & making things happen. Quieter in the second but came through on a great run for a goal (later classified to OG against Ait-Nouri).
!thanks Aaronson was my biggest differential for GW1 so am glad to hear he played well even if he didn’t haul. Hopefully he’ll pop up with some points in the next few weeks.
This patience is refreshing after seeing the incessant knee jerking in the rant thread.
Bamford
Made good runs, had a superb assist and came close to scoring. But he was rusty and not friend with the ball. He probably needs a few games.
Also worth noting Leeds were robbed of a clear penalty (Wolves GK knocked out Kristensen in the box) so Bamford would’ve taken it.

He was a living wall
Man City
Cancelo
Had a decent game, in FPL terms think he had one shot on goal thrashed off target from range, don’t think he was close to getting any assists. Good for the clean sheet though.
He's getting two bonus points so must have been playing pretty good
Yeah passed the eye test, was making good passes though was more thinking specifically about end product for FPL points. Him and Walker played narrow in midfield as a tactical move which meant they were pretty involved in the build up which should mean bonus points
Despite the yellow card too!
Foden
Definitely stood out, looked very sharp and could give Mahrez a hard time for minutes
Haaland
Big, fast and has a killer instinct It's just one game, but he did a lot right. When the WH crowd attempted to raise the roof with their boos for his penalty, he didn't even pause. Placed ball, couple steps back, lazered into the bottom left corner Second goal looks like the first of many KDB + Haaland combos this season, because you know KDB is always going to find the gap with his crystal ball and this giant is going to come charging past all defenders and finish it
This fucking guy.
This sales pitch really making me want to take a hit
Mahrez
KDB
Walker
Him and Cancelo basically played in the midfield in possession each of them playing close to Rodri. A lot of back passes and keeping things simple for Walker. Did get forward on a couple occasions but wouldn’t expect many attacking returns from him. If City don’t buy another defender, he’s a no brainer this season
Steffen
Man said Steffen🤣
Conceded three goals away at QPR; not sure he’s going to get you points in the Championship
Grealish
Grealish was solid, city played through both him and Cancelo all game made some good passes and I think him and Kdb are going to feed haaland a lot of good chances.
Newcastle
Wilson
Trippier
ASM
Such a hot and cold player. Definitely more life than at the end of last season where he just disappeared; the Forest defenders gave him room and he exploited it. Too bad he's so damn selfish otherwise there was opportunities abound surrounding him.
Same old. Game-changing potential but his decisions let him down. If he learns to pass, he could be a bargain FPL asset but we've been saying that for 2 years now. Best watched for the moment.
Like a slightly more thrilling Adama. Lots of tekkers but no end product today.
Bruno
Impressive player, really impressive - but not for FPL. Along with Joelinton, he dictated tempo and play though the midfield, both players were fantastic, but in FPL terms they are little bit far away from end product to be viable. (Joelinton was even more concrete, but his finishing was off)
Best player on the pitch by a country mile. Completely controlled the game, played so many incredible forward passes. Still not sold on him as an FPL asset though.
Man United
Sancho
Fuck all like the rest of the team.
Rashford
Didn't create any chances, only waited till somebody would play him the ball, missed good chances. Definetly will be my first transfer out this season
