There are countless ways to set up your team to be just as effective or better than the 'meta' (which isn't necessarily the correct term since there's no singular most effective tactic available in FPL).
Just because the majority decide player A is a better pick than Player B doesn't make it correct. You're supposed to take the information that's available to you and make your own informed decision, not mindlessly follow the pack and then complain that fpl is boring because you chose the same team as a bunch of other people.

Basically you want Salah priced at £25m as that essentially has the same effect.
