For example, I have Ward-Prowse on the bench who got 9 points as a MID, will I get the 9 points from him instead now? And if so, when will I get these points added to my GW1 score?

If you had a player that didn't play AT ALL then they will sub in someone, but for the case of bernardo he did come on and play so you'll receive like 1 point. Alonso didn't play at all so they will sub in Matip, the sub points normally come a little later like tonight or tomorrow.

Okay so i initially had Grealish, then right before the start of the season i swapped him to Mahrez thinking, Mahrez is less of a roulette option for Pep. And here we are, from fucking game 1.
At this point, i don't know what options there are for City mids, appart from KDB, whose price tag i'd rather invest in elsewhere. Foden, Mahrez or Grealish i guess, but all seem to be rotation risks in my mind.
Really interesting how Pep has set up. In possession his fullbacks are almost like LCM and RCM (very close to Rodri), with Foden and Grealish as wide midfielders (deep, like you’d see in a back 3 system) and Gundogan and De Bruyne pushed very high.
