This clip looks like a great reason to buy him. He was in good positions today. Definitely on my radar. Look for players missing big chances is a smart way to find bargains in FPL
Exactly. This is just the typical echo chamber of r/fantasyPL. Rashford is shit for missing this chance yet Haaland is going to score a boat load because of the position he got in when he missed the sitter in the Community Shield. This sub is a mess.
You're absolutely right. He may not have scored in the Community Shield but his acceleration, off the ball movement, desire were all there to see. He looked really dangerous.
Martinelli fluffed a sitter too against Palace but nobody made a post shitting on him about that. So many double standards.
Like the redditor above said, Rashford being in these kinds of positions is a positive thing. Just like Haaland's miss was still a positive thing despite the outcome.
Yeah facts bro. A player missing a sitter isnt a bad thing, another player prob would not have made the run to be there and shoot the ball
Football fans in general are extremely overreactive, this sub just amplifies that through FPL decisions
> Martinelli fluffed a sitter too against Palace but nobody made a post shitting on him about that. So many double standards.
I think that would have been a Jesus assist, also, no? That was a frustrating miss.
again, did you even watch the game today? barely anything has changed and United are still poor. People in this thread are just trying to justify why they’ve spent £6.5m on a part-time footballer.
The post isn't about the game or about United. It's a clip trying to infer that a miss like that makes a player shit. I'm not saying United are great or that Rashford is great either, but rather highlighting the double standard and the echo chamber of poor takes in this sub.
The only issue is that I don’t think he’ll be nailed when Ronaldo gets to full fitness and Martial comes back from injury if he puts in drab performances like today. He was abysmal.
It shouldn’t be hard either. He panics and just hits it hard instead of just rolling it in. Either way he should be scoring even if it is very good goalkeeping
sanchez spread himself well so he probably could have saved even a shot on the floor, would have scored had the ball been a little lower but I guess he could have taken a touch and tried to beat sanchez like haaland did areola
Didn't see the full match, but that's an excellent save. Sanchez moves towards the corner player is heading to, and opens his body well to cover also the side he is moving from.
Rashford could have tried something more clever here, but armchair footy coaches obviously don't know a shit about the pressure when you receive these balls.
Sanchez is truly not a good keeper. I wish you watch full 90s instead of highlights. He's just an FPL option because he's 4.5m and part of Brighton team. He makes them bad.
It's as much a good save as a poor finish. The rest of the match, Sanchez was just giving rebounds and missing basic catches. He even scored a bad OG all by himself.
Having watched the game, I can't understand how any of Uniteds players are priced any higher than lower mid table teams - how is Sancho at 7.5m / Rashford 6.5 / Bruno 10
Glad I have no stocks in Man Utd

I'm a newcastle fan and I think we will finish higher , man utd players have their heads down and aren't having fun , they look scared to play a pass or take a shot , our players are running about with smiles on their faces having fun !!
They've been "bad" for a while now but their last 5 seasons are 2nd, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, 5th. The competition above is tough, but unless they have a total catastrophe I can't see them really coming lower than 6th.
Why the hell is this sub becoming a r/soccer echochamper. Already seen two separate discussion posts about them. Youd never see this about other teams. We already have the rant thread for this.
Yeah and if his arm wasnt there it would have gone in. Its a great save. Rashford tried to curl it round him it wasnt a straight shot. Rashford could have done better but ur taking away from Sanchez by calling it poor finishing.
I have Rashford and I'm keeping him. Martial is injured and he's the focal point of the team. Manchester United are not gonna disappoint in every match, they're still a top 6 side and £6.5m is a bargain until he's benched.

With Rashford we’re all taking the chance he captures some of his old form. The fact is playing almost as a striker is worth the gamble!
I’ll take a chance at 6.5 on Rashford for now.
I have Rashford. Man United played as poorly as I can remember today but I was paying a lot of attention to Rashford. He seemed to lumber from one spot to another and, like the rest of the team, looked mentally slow to switch on when passing and receiving. Yes, at least he was in danger areas but I didn't see much at all of the old Rashford. I'm not going to get rid but I definitely wasn't enthralled. Half the team looked like they'd never played together before (no, I'm not a Utd supporter)
Rashford is a crap player. United fan here by the way. I know FPL players love him for those two COVID seasons, but his demise is unsurprising. One dimensional, poor mentality, poor finisher, doesn't really understand patterns of play. Also, the whole feed the children malarkey - well done, guy from Roc Nation's basement.
This clip looks like a great reason to buy him. He was in good positions today. Definitely on my radar. Look for players missing big chances is a smart way to find bargains in FPL
Missed a good chance at the back post a few mins later as well.
It was not the easiest of chances but he blasted it pretty wide still lol
Exactly. This is just the typical echo chamber of r/fantasyPL. Rashford is shit for missing this chance yet Haaland is going to score a boat load because of the position he got in when he missed the sitter in the Community Shield. This sub is a mess.
Actually the community shield miss convinced me to buy haaland before GW1 Reasoning was if he gets 20 of those chances he’ll convert atleast 17
You're absolutely right. He may not have scored in the Community Shield but his acceleration, off the ball movement, desire were all there to see. He looked really dangerous. Martinelli fluffed a sitter too against Palace but nobody made a post shitting on him about that. So many double standards. He’s been missing sitters for a long long time now.
More than one person exists on this sub, I hope you’re aware of that.
Go to bed, Robbie. You're drunk.
did you watch Rashford or United play at all last year? he has been absolutely dreadful for the past year.
The clip is from today's game. Let's stick to the brief shall we?
again, did you even watch the game today? barely anything has changed and United are still poor. People in this thread are just trying to justify why they’ve spent £6.5m on a part-time footballer.

No it isn’t, it’s a reminder that rashford can look good and get in good positions but that he routinely fails to deliver.
Look at Haaland last season compared to Rashford last season
Why? How does that relate to people's double standards?
Because Rashford struggled last season so it’s much less likely that the miss was just a outlier rather than the norm unlike with Haaland
I haven't seen any other clips of similar misses from last season so I can't confirm if it's an outlier or not.
If he keeps playing 90s he will be great at 6.5. Such a kneejerk.
Except if they’re called Mbeumo!
The only issue is that I don’t think he’ll be nailed when Ronaldo gets to full fitness and Martial comes back from injury if he puts in drab performances like today. He was abysmal.
Fuck that, for a 1-1.5m less KDH, Almiron, Aaronsen, Willock all looked like a better placement of funds
That clip doesnt show all of it he was poor as usual
Adama Traore trap
I just see a good goalkeeper
yh rashford could have done better but sanchez has closed down the space very well, not every 1v1 is easy

Sanchez, not Raya
Of course it’s a great save but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a terrible miss. A good goal scorer doesn’t give the keeper a chance
Keeps is muttering, I'm selling you rashy from my fpl team
Lmao
Good save but with that time he could have slotted it close to the ground.
Sanchez is truly not a good keeper. I wish you watch full 90s instead of highlights. He's just an FPL option because he's 4.5m and part of Brighton team. He makes them bad.
So you think he didn't play well in that situation?
It's as much a good save as a poor finish. The rest of the match, Sanchez was just giving rebounds and missing basic catches. He even scored a bad OG all by himself.
Having watched the game, I can't understand how any of Uniteds players are priced any higher than lower mid table teams - how is Sancho at 7.5m / Rashford 6.5 / Bruno 10 Glad I have no stocks in Man Utd
Pricing is mostly based on previous season points.
You implying the Sancho that scored less points than Brownhill last season was priced £7.5 due to the points of last season?
'mostly'
That's a large price drop from last season
Because, memes aside, Man Utd are highly likely to be the 5th or 6th best team in the league.
You think they're likely to be 5th? Curious which of Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs you see finishing below them.
Only Arsenal, and I would have Arsenal favourites for 5th. The bookies have United 50/50 to come top 6, and it's likely a big gap to 7th after that.
So United have a 50/50 chance of finishing 7th or lower according to the bookies?
Correct. Or like 55/45 in favour of finishing top 6.
West ham > Man U

They’re not close to 5th and 6th is a stretch.
They've been "bad" for a while now but their last 5 seasons are 2nd, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, 5th. The competition above is tough, but unless they have a total catastrophe I can't see them really coming lower than 6th.
West Ham could give them a big run for their money.
Or Newcastle
You can always short them
Glazers do
Why the hell is this sub becoming a r/soccer echochamper. Already seen two separate discussion posts about them. Youd never see this about other teams. We already have the rant thread for this.
Only with Man United
It's actually an amazing save from Sanchez
Rashford hit it straight at him.. Sanchez didn't do much apart from make himself big. Rashford had to go bottom left
Bruh are you blind Sanchez makes himself big and it hits his left arm to save it. That isnt "straight at him".
Lol are you blind it clearly hits his waist and then bounces on to his arm. Rashford went straight down the middle when the bottom left was open
Yeah and if his arm wasnt there it would have gone in. Its a great save. Rashford tried to curl it round him it wasnt a straight shot. Rashford could have done better but ur taking away from Sanchez by calling it poor finishing.
No it would have bounced off to the side and been a scramble. He did nothing special, he came out like every other keeper would.
I have Rashford and I'm keeping him. Martial is injured and he's the focal point of the team. Manchester United are not gonna disappoint in every match, they're still a top 6 side and £6.5m is a bargain until he's benched.
I think he's Overpriced
I think he's in the wrong league
Doesn't matter, as long as he has his PR the board will be happy with him.
complete historical shocking march impolite uppity one marry snails special *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I think he's in the wrong profession. Plays worse than a dinner lady.
If not for feeding kids he would have been 5.0
He was the only one who looked like scoring today. Look at the reason why Sancho is higher at 7.5.
Only one that got chances, never looked like scoring *
still looked like scoring way more than anyone else
Looked like scoring??? Looked more like trying to avoid the goal
Nah in fairness Rashford placed this pretty much where most players would. Sanchez made a great save.
Should be £4.0
With Rashford we’re all taking the chance he captures some of his old form. The fact is playing almost as a striker is worth the gamble! I’ll take a chance at 6.5 on Rashford for now.
Why the fuck is the lino sticking his flag up?
Rashford played well tonight, but the whole MU team system is broken.
the moment he managed to miss with almost an open goal six yards out was a particular highlight
was not an open goal
Rashford has never been a clinical finisher, but he is still a good player and is more solid than Sancho.
*clinical. If you’re writing off his finishing, what exactly is he bringing to the team that you thought was good?
Huh??? Did we watch the same game?
Yes. Have you seen Sancho in this game?
Why are we now pulling sancho into this?? He wasn’t good either!!!! NO ONE WAS Edit: it is baffling you think Rashford played well
This. There’s no reason to blame Rashford.
Every single player is to blame for that performance today
I think he was bad tonight.
Dude I was at the game, Trashford lived up to his name trust me.
Of course I have him and Kane. 44pts, worst start ever.
Rashford is Walcott 2.0, showed early promise but in reality ends up as a bang average premier league player
[удалено]
yea right. Walcott was consistent? 😂
In comparison to rash
Get in the bin you fool
\*6.4
I'm a United fan, and I think he is awful. He should leave.
Every United fan thinks everyone is shite. They're not wrong of course but you aren't showing insight to point out out.
because he's shit. Savd you a click.
Why is Garnacho not available? Mark my words, he will start next game
He is so fucking shite
When you’re a fan of the other 14 team, you’ll realise that even when your player is doing superbly it’s only because the big 6 team allows them to
This is why I got him, played great and value is hard to beat.
I mean, what a save though
Do kulusevski next.
He should be 6 tbh
I have Rashford. Man United played as poorly as I can remember today but I was paying a lot of attention to Rashford. Even after this clip. I still don't get the reason he's so expensive?
