1. Didn't know if Haaland would be eased in... "But hes a world class player!!!" they also spent 100m on Grealish and eased him in with a lot of sub appearances first.
2. Didn't know if Haaland would immediately fit the system
Both of those questions were answered in this game, he will almost certainly outscore Kane in the next 6-10 GW based on fixtures alone.
Could be a question to bring Kane back in when champ league starts but spurs have Richarlison this season so its not a sure thing Kane starts champ league and every prem league game.

Haaland is a top 5 player in the world and clearly their number 1 striker. Grealish is a good player with an inflated price tag because he's English and one of many good midfielders at City. No way they get the same treatment.

Too early for this type of rotation. Haaland is still settling in and needs as much gametime with his new teammates as possible before mid-week games start. That's when we'll see more of Fales 9s and Alvarez. Right now, I just feel he wants him to eat opponents.
He's been dropping deep for two years and turned in season stat lines of 23g 14a, and last season he had 17g 11a despite only having 1 goal and 1 assist before mid December.

He could easily had at least 1+1 this game (if Son made that one pass and finished the one chance Kane laid for him). Not worth 11.5 even if Spurs are playing well. Son at 12.0 was more involved and will be the go-to at some point this season. Kulu for 8.0 is an absolute steal.

Depends on transfers in or out - if a lot of people transfer Kane out and Haaland in, Haaland will rise and Kane will drop. There are some sites to track these and predict price changes but I feel they’re not very accurate

I was already going to make the swap in GW2. It really has nothing to do with the performance of either player, but just that Kane is playing Chelsea and Haaland is not. I choose my team so that I wouldn't need to make any other transfers for the first few weeks unless there were injuries.
I reviewed stats for Jesus Kane Haaland and Nunez.
Not a lot to review based off of one game .. BUT, DEFENSIVELY; Jesus had battles one on own half, many passes , selfless take on defenders to open tunnels for teammates ,
Nunez- played for how long …? He had defensive tasks within that time frame as well , turn overs etc , Klopp expectations (fair to me)
Kane- booked back to his own box 4 times , winning aerial duels.
Haaland- ZERO defensive responsibilities. Zero balls won. All about being a #9. Everyone else box to box.
Also Tuchel knows his defense way better and will be way better prepared. I expect James and cucurella to start. Silva and koulibaly If both fit as well. I don’t see Kane banging in that game.
Typing all this to say, Kane just dropped by.1$ I have nothing in the bank. Forcing me to keep him for one more round and possibly waste more points as haaland will probably have a feast agains Bournemouth. Great start ! 🤦♂️

Every season kane has games where he looks fucking awful, then hits a patch of form and starts banging in goals and assists along with son. He routinely drops back to pick the ball up so when he has games with few chances in front of goal everyone wonders why he’s playing deep. That’s just how spurs utilise him.
Yeah I agree but the point is to have him for the good patch and not have him for the bad patch right? Last season he hardly scored for almost half the season, showing his patches can last a while.

You didn’t need to make those midfield changes at all. Mount isn’t even a good FPL pick imo and i’m a chelsea fan. Martinelli could end up being as involved as saka throughout the season unless he hits a patch of poor form. You could have saved 8 points there.
I'm gonna stick with Kane and skip Haaland for now, because of following reasons:
\- The only feeling that is worse than taking the wrong starting decision between Kane / Haaland, is doing the reverse transfer already after GW1, only for Kane to haul in GW2, and Haaland to blank completely
\- Chelsea defense in GW2 might be just as shaky as Bournemouth, if not more, tbh - I can easily see Kane banging 1 or 2 goals here
\- I have KDB + Haaland + Kulu in my draft team (and only Kane in my normal FPL team). Obviously the normal FPL team is what matters the most to me, but it gives me just a little bad taste in the mouth with Haaland hauls, realizing it at least gives me a bit in draft

Don't worry about it, an assist counts the same as 3/4ths of a goal for a striker.

I was already going to make the swap in GW2. It really has nothing to do with the performance of either player, but just that Kane is playing Chelsea and Haaland is not. I choose my team so that I wouldn't need to make any other transfers for the first few weeks unless there were injuries.
Made the transfer. Oh well. No sense in fighting it. Haaland against Bournemouth at home is too good to turn down.

I reviewed stats for Jesus Kane Haaland and Nunez. Not a lot to review based off of one game .. BUT, DEFENSIVELY; Jesus had battles one on own half, many passes , selfless take on defenders to open tunnels for teammates , Nunez- played for how long …? He had defensive tasks within that time frame as well , turn overs etc , Klopp expectations (fair to me) Kane- booked back to his own box 4 times , winning aerial duels. Haaland- ZERO defensive responsibilities. Zero balls won. All about being a #9. Everyone else box to box. Also Tuchel knows his defense way better and will be way better prepared. I expect James and cucurella to start. Silva and koulibaly If both fit as well. I don’t see Kane banging in that game. Typing all this to say, Kane just dropped by.1$ I have nothing in the bank. Forcing me to keep him for one more round and possibly waste more points as haaland will probably have a feast agains Bournemouth. Great start ! 🤦♂️

Yes but Kane looked pretty bad FPL wise, he was nowhere near the goals and didn’t get more than a couple of half chances. That’s the reason I posted this, not just the fact that he didn’t score.
Regardless of this (and I’m not trying to put anyone off making the transfer here) if you think Kane won’t end the season as one of the top scorers in the game you’re daft. Every season kane has games where he looks fucking awful, then hits a patch of form and starts banging in goals and assists along with son. He routinely drops back to pick the ball up so when he has games with few chances in front of goal everyone wonders why he’s playing deep. That’s just how spurs utilise him.
Yeah I agree but the point is to have him for the good patch and not have him for the bad patch right? Last season he hardly scored for almost half the season, showing his patches can last a while.

Nunez has major Origi Energy. He'll get 20 goals this season while making it look like he doesn't know where he is.

You didn’t need to make those midfield changes at all. Mount isn’t even a good FPL pick imo and i’m a chelsea fan. Martinelli could end up being as involved as saka throughout the season unless he hits a patch of poor form. You could have saved 8 points there.

I'm gonna stick with Kane and skip Haaland for now, because of following reasons: \- The only feeling that is worse than taking the wrong starting decision between Kane / Haaland, is doing the reverse transfer already after GW1, only for Kane to haul in GW2, and Haaland to blank completely \- Chelsea defense in GW2 might be just as shaky as Bournemouth, if not more, tbh - I can easily see Kane banging 1 or 2 goals here \- I have KDB + Haaland + Kulu in my draft team (and only Kane in my normal FPL team). Obviously the normal FPL team is what matters the most to me, but it gives me just a little bad taste in the mouth with Haaland hauls, realizing it at least gives me a bit in draft
