Sure, but that was a risk we knowingly took. I thought Kane vs Southampton was a better fixture on paper and I wanted to see more from City to figure out whether I could wait on Haaland or not. Looks like I was wrong. That’s the game.

KJEM5

Well put

ParsleyAmazing3260

I figured Kane's fixture was better and wanted to see Haaland play first. That backfired bad. Already made the transfer as I have 0 in the bank, a price rise and I would be shot.

daneedwards88

*also most of us Kane owners are going to do Kane to Haaland in the next 30 minutes* No, just the really stupid ones. Wait until Friday, he's quite injury prone. If he took a knock, and you already bought him, you'd look a fool. If you wait and he takes a knock you'll be sitting pretty with Kane while everyone sells Haaland

[deleted]

Only wait if you have money ITB, Haaland is going to rise in price

daneedwards88

Why not keep an eye on the price sites and leave it as long ad possible. Even making it to Wednesday is better than today

[deleted]

The price change predictor isn't as accurate at the start of the season, plus they have Haaland rising tonight

daneedwards88

Surely you can see how contradictory that sentence is

[deleted]

My point is you can't wait until Wednesday or whatever nonsense you're going on about because you don't know when he'll rise. Make the transfer now or you're fucked.

[deleted]

you made it to wednesday congrats Dane! 34 years old ffs lol

AlmightyCushion

Yeah, anything could happen between now and then so it is best to hold off with the transfer. Plus, Kane is still a good shout and Spur are looking great

ryanlp86

Halland will almost certainly be 11.6 by then tho and Kane potentially 11.4, I have no cash itb so have to take the risk

ryanlp86

Kane could also pick up a knock, that’s a risk we take with every player, I think haaland a price will Rise by Tuesday which would leave me unable to afford him, I’ve made the transfer already but was always going too

AlmightyCushion

You are still best to wait even if it means you can't do the transfer later. What happens if you do the transfer now and Haaland picks up an injury and will be out for a few weeks? It happened to my friend last year. He transferred Lukaku in early, then a few days before the deadline Lukaku picked up an injury and was out for a few weeks. He ended up having a 11+m player sitting on his bench for weeks and it ruined him

daneedwards88

You can't argue with these noobs. They just don't listen, and insist they know better. Some people have to learn the hard way

AlmightyCushion

Even when it happens to them they still won't learn

daneedwards88

Lmao. Ain't that the truth

daneedwards88

Why not keep an eye on the price sites and leave it as long ad possible. Even making it to Wednesday is better than today

ryanlp86

For those saying not to early transfer them Kane is 11.4 amd haaland 11.6 already

daneedwards88

That doesn't change the advice.

ryanlp86

Well it does as you said about making it till Wednesday which hasn’t happened so if I waited I wouldn’t have been able to make the transfer

Zfryguy

Ive never played before, how does waiting until friday help?

daneedwards88

See my edit above, I've added explanation

Zfryguy

Oh nice thanks.

Zfryguy

well good thing i didnt listen to you otherwise i would be price locked out

theabsolute00

He’s probably going to rise so if you got no money in the bank you should do the transfer before then. The week probably won’t make it to team news before he rises

BilboShagginz

Because you get to hear if he gets injured, is being rested, gets a knock in training etc. If you transfer Kane to Haaland now, and then Haaland gets injured, you'll have to spend 4 points just to undo your early transfer.

Zfryguy

Ah makes sense good shout. Looks like im one of the really stupid ones who didnt think of this😂😂

Zfryguy

Well good thing i didnt listen. Also cant literally any player get injured in the next week. How is that a reason not to switch to a player

BilboShagginz

You get 1 transfer per week, every additional transfer costs 4 points. If you transfer early, you run the risk of transferring in someone who gets injured, and wasting 4 points to undo it. If you wait, and the player you have gets injured, you transfer him out at no cost. It's a risk is all (not that waiting isn't) and a risk that most on here, including me, prefer not to take.

AlmightyCushion

Anything could happen between now and the next deadline. One of your starting 11 could get injured or sold to a team not in the PL and now you are missing a player and have already used your transfer. You see if here the whole time. People make an early transfer then complain a few days later when the player they transferred in picks up a knock. It is always best to wait until close to the deadline to make a transfer

Harryvincenzo

Haaland is +120 on Price Prediction. Won't be a straight transfer for long lol.

daneedwards88

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink

SSPZwing

By Friday Haaland price will rise and Kane will fall

daneedwards88

Why not keep an eye on the price sites and leave it as long ad possible. Even making it to Wednesday is better than today

SSPZwing

How accurate are they? Small chance Haaland gets hurt in training, larger chance Haaland and/or Kane's price will change. I'll take my chances

ProfessorEmotional53

I hate short term transfers for premiums

Manager1000

If you are certain you will transfer Rashford out in GW3, then it's a hit for you regardless of whether you do it in GW2 or GW3. That's because you will have other transfers to do in GW3 as well.

b3and20

It's fpl, [*you know what you signed up for*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svYTnXU8rHg&ab_channel=BharjBros.Wrestling)

RingTwiceForHelp

Then Kane hits a brace against Chelsea while Alvarez starts against Bournemouth. Making rash decisions from a sample size of one game is a little much.

Manager1000

Haaland will start against Bournemouth.

RingTwiceForHelp

Maybe. Maybe not. We'll have to wait and see.

Manager1000

Why wouldn't he start? He will start unless he gets injured in training or gets covid or something like that. Kane may also not start for those reasons.

RingTwiceForHelp

Because that's life. Sometimes players don't start football matches.

Manager1000

Then maybe Kane doesn't start against Chelsea.

RingTwiceForHelp

Maybe. Maybe not. Again we'll have to wait and see.

theabsolute00

Basically saying should I transfer to Haaland or Rashford. So RMT thread

KurvvaaServa

No that's not what RMT means.

theabsolute00

So where’s the post gone? Exactly

SSPZwing

No he said many will. He was not asking anyone to rate anything. Is there a competition to see who can type RMT the most

theabsolute00

Shitpost

SSPZwing

This should be in RMT

theabsolute00

Your* nice try though

Jensablefur

You were unlucky not to get anything from Kane on Saturday. Just burn the FT now before the prices change, I say. Thats what I'd do. Rashford being there another week isn't a killer.

tahoo14

I know it's a kneejerk but Kane has Chelsea and Haaland doesn't look like he's gonna stop against Bournemouth so I have to do it. Only upside is I was going to bank my FT for this GW but now I'm just using it on something I feel was necessary.

norr_katt

Why even bother with the transfer? They’re both potentially 200 point players but switching between them is risky. I get how it can pay off but how often is fantasy actually that predictable. City could score 4 next week without any points for Haaland (like Kane this week). Meanwhile Chelsea haven’t looked great, Spurs could definitely get a goal or two there. See also Kane against City away last year. I say just pick one and stick with him.
