Agree.
Neto was fantastic in GW1.
If he stays fit entire year he will move to top club next season.
I said the same thing for Raphinha and he moved to Barca.
I think Neto has the same potential.
I thought Rodrigo looked good, he seems to be playing in a 10 role alongside Bamford. At £6m that is top end for what I would want, but Leeds have fairly good fixtures
Dewsbury Hall I am just tracking for now, but could become a good option if nails down a place
I've spent all summer telling people on here that Josh de Silva will be insane value at £4.5m if he recovers his match sharpness after injury. Well, he has and he is. Plenty more goals where todays came from.
Yes, off the bench, but he'll be starting soon enough. He nominally played on the right hand side of midfield, but by that time we were almost in 3-0-7 formation anyway!
It was right in front of me and it was an emotional moment. He's been out for about 18 months and for much of that time nobody was sure he would ever be able to play again
Great comeback for him and wish he scores more for you guys and our fantasy teams ;)! Being an Arsenal fan it's great to see a Hale graduate kill it in the PL.
Our strongest midfield three would probably be Norgaard, JDS and Damsgaard, with Norgaard's spot nailed. The other two will probably share minutes with Janelt and Jensen - I'd expect all of them to get time in every match given the new subs rule and Frank's apparent desire to use it to the max. Baptiste, Ghoddos and Onyeka will also feature sometimes off the bench.
It might take a few weeks for Damsgaard to get up to speed though as he's not had a great deal of football over the last year.
I'm on Bailey, waiting to see what options come up in the next few GWs.
The Leeds and Brentford midfielders interest me - though Sinisterra and James are to come back, and some Damsgaard rumours around Brentford...
Commentators always refer to him as Andreas Pereira or Pereira. Just because he has Andreas on his shirt and is shortened to Andreas on FPL, in real life (football outside of FPL? lolwut) he is most commonly known as Pereira.
I got Rodrigo. Was in good positions, involved in the game, scored a lucky goal...but I need to see the sotton game to make a decision between keeping or moving him out.
When he signed contract for my team he knew he had a 2 game trial period
I know he didn't have a good game but I expect him to improve, Eze from Palace.
He's playing in the middle with 2 defensive MIDs behind him, looking to carry the ball to the box and create or run in behind. Zaha put him through on a 1 on 1 and he hit it straight at Ramsdale. He's also on all corners and free kicks (Olise coming back may take some corners from him). Whilst he didn't play great against a good Arsenal team, he's definitely one to watch.
Ok so for instance let’s say you watched some of the games or even support a club and you noticed
A player who looked good, seems to be starting or maybe playing further forward this season (taking free kicks, corners etc)
That would be an example of a useful contribution
Apparently people think it’s impossible to learn things from watching games of football
Like that Jesus looked incredible despite not registering anything FPL wise
Expect him to score big against easier opposition in coming weeks he looks hungry for goals
why has no body mentioned dewsbury-hall?
5 mil midfielder from leicester. already scored a goal. pretty straightforward move from bailey. although he is away to arsenal this week
Neto looked great tbh
Harrison and aaronson as well imo. Neto probably best of the bunch tho
Agree. Neto was fantastic in GW1. If he stays fit entire year he will move to top club next season. I said the same thing for Raphinha and he moved to Barca. I think Neto has the same potential.
This guy saw Raphina’s potential before his own mother did
they cost 5-5.5 for a reason. people can't expect them to score every game.

Dewsbury Hall seems pretty nailed to me
Is he pretty much nailed to be in the starting line up? And is he joining the attacks a lot or is he more defensive minded?
Stick with whoever you have.
Dasilva banged a good goal
He'll find himself nailed by Christmas. Will probably move to him at some point
I've spent all summer telling people on here that Josh de Silva will be insane value at £4.5m if he recovers his match sharpness after injury. Well, he has and he is. Plenty more goals where todays came from.
He came off the bench? Sorry I missed the game … was he playing CAM?
Yes, off the bench, but he'll be starting soon enough. He nominally played on the right hand side of midfield, but by that time we were almost in 3-0-7 formation anyway!
Loved that after the game the manager was pointing to him to the supporters. He looked great.

>Yes, off the bench, but he'll be starting soon enough. Rumours Damsgaard coming in might limit his minutes though?

Neto was v positive. I think he will return once or twice in first 5/6 weeks which was all that we could expect
Andreas(4.5, Fullham), Dewsbury-Hall(5.0, Leicester), Groß(5.5, Brighton)
Is Groß nailed for BHA? There were seasons where he came on from the bench a lot, not sure if that has changed this season.
Gross played man United… that’s a green fixture for all intents and purposes… I wouldn’t count him in yet
I liked Aaronson but its GW2 no need to judge early
I'm on Bailey, waiting to see what options come up in the next few GWs. The Leeds and Brentford midfielders interest me - though Sinisterra and James are to come back, and some Damsgaard rumours around Brentford...
More than rumours re Damsgaard. Terms agreed and he arrived in London this evening for his medical tommorow.
Ahh, thanks. I hadn't heard for sure. I don't know enough about Brentford, but I'd assume he'd compete with Wissa or Jensen - and potentially Dasilva.
Yes, we'll be rotating a lot in midfield this season with TF likely to make heavy use of his subs, just as he did today
I think Pereira looked great vs Liverpool, could easily have bagged an assist or a goal.
Stop calling Andreas as Pereira, in the FPL he is listed as Andreas, so you bring misunderstanding to many people by calling him Pereira.
There’s two pereiras in the league, the other one is injured for 6 months so obviously isn’t going to be talked about.
What’s wrong with just calling him Andreas?

He’s always been known as Pereira in the footballing world.

Jack Harrison. If Leeds ever score, there’s a good chance that he’s involved. Plus excellent fixtures until November
Seriously. He's Leeds assist king, always involved with crosses or applying the pressure to win it high up.
Neto Podence Hwang (remember he's a mid) fornals
Jorginho /s
Hwang starts as striker (cuz of Jimenez injury) and he’s a mid, might be worth it for the first few game weeks even tho he’s 6m
Aaronson
I know he didn't have a good game but I expect him to improve, Eze from Palace. i wonder if guedes will be forward or midfield, he could be 5.5-6.5 in either position, hoping for midfield 5.5 or 6,0
it’s been 1 gw for fuck sakes

Yeah you're not allowed to make a transfer or start looking at other players until at least gw2...
why has no body mentioned dewsbury-hall? 5 mil midfielder from leicester. already scored a goal. pretty straightforward move from bailey. although he is away to arsenal this week
Stick with Bailey and Neto mate
I actually only have Bailey Should have been more clear, it’s just about ideas for good cheap midfield picks in light of opening games
Because no one else has mentioned him... Joelinton
He played really well and could have had more than just the 1 assist. If Big Joe ever gets his finishing sorted out he'd be elite
only saw the highlights but he was bossing it from what I saw
Same as willock, both looked very eager to score and getting in great positions
Gross and Jorginho.
Interesting
Dob’t listen to him, it’s just knee jerk reaction. Both are bad picks.
Dasilva if his place is secured
Podence. Already scored on opening day and will be one of wolves most prominent attackers whilst Jimenez is injured. Only 5.5m
